Chapter 140: Unique Spells
"It’s recorded..." Rayven’s eyes lit up after seeing the notification. Although he could only view the record of the spell and not learn it, he believed that the system would soon upgrade, and perhaps his archived Spells would have another purpose...
Rayven exhaled softly. Even his ears were ringing slightly from the residual sound.
Around him, the audience broke into awed murmurs.

"This next one will be my third demonstration. Watch it carefully... It is a synthesis involving three elements. Fire, Wind, and Lightning. Normally unstable... but, with proper formation, stability is achievable."
The audience tensed in anticipation. Even Sofia leaned forward as she truly wanted to see this...
Rayven’s Coinbound System hummed faintly in the back of his mind.
’Three elements? This’ll be interesting.’
Wallace took a deep breath and gathered his mana... Soon, even without chanting just yet, something was already forming in front of him...
Everyone was quite interested in seeing this, but soon, mana surged like a tide.
"Flames that devour...
Winds that carry...
Thunder that judges--
Merge and roar!
Tempest Nova!"
An almost blinding surge of energy appeared at the center of the platform. Fire and lightning merged within a spinning vortex of wind, forming a luminous sphere that pulsed with layered mana density.
The sheer heat made even those in the upper seats feel the burn against their faces.
Protective barriers instantly flared to life around the spectators as Wallace snapped his fingers.
The orb detonated silently... There was only a ripple of compressed air spreading outward before the light faded. When the haze cleared, not a single scorch mark remained on the stage.

’Unique-tier spell... So it’s the tier above Rare, huh...’
Wallace exhaled slowly... He then lowered his hand as the Tempest Nova faded. The hall was still filled with surprise as they applauded his performance... At this time, everyone could feel the residual mana in the surroundings.
He gave the attendants a brief nod as he felt that he was ready for the last Spell...
"Now then... for the final demonstration." His voice was filled with confidence.
At once, the attendants along the sides of the hall began to reinforce the barrier runes embedded in the walls.
Even the senior mages in the audience tensed. They knew that when a Tier 3 Elementalist warned the audience to prepare, the next spell was anything but safe.
Rayven felt the hum of mana intensify.
Wallace slowly extended both hands, and a circular formation appeared beneath his feet. But unlike the previous ones, this wasn’t merely bright light... It was pulsing like a heartbeat.
Four different colors radiated from the pattern. It was crimson, azure, emerald, and gold.
’Four elements...?’ Rayven realized instantly.
At this time, he also noticed that Wallace was pushing himself to the limit. He could see his face turn red and his veins out...
Even Sofia stood now, as she focused on Wallace’s method to gather mana. It seemed to be the most crucial part.
"Is he really attempting a quad-element fusion?"
The crowd’s whispers surged again... This was definitely an incredible ability. If he succeeded, then they were sure that Wallace would become a Tier 4 Mage soon!
Wallace closed his eyes and began his chant.
"Earth that anchors all...
Flame that purges all...

Lightning that rends all--

Elemental Calamity!"
The entire hall trembled.
Pillars of mana erupted around Wallace, and each of them represented an element. Then, like serpents of living light, they intertwined, twisting and compressing toward the sphere forming above his hand.
The fusion was violent, unstable at first... The wind howled, arcs of lightning was everywhere, and the ground cracked from the pressure.
Yet, Wallace didn’t stop...
He traced several runes midair with his fingers... Each stroke was steady and deliberate... Soon, the chaos of elements began to converge into harmony.
The four elements folded inward into a blinding white core.
Then, the orb expanded outward silently...
Whoosh~
There was no explosion, no shockwave, only a moment of stillness.
And then BOOM!
A blast of radiant light engulfed the entire platform.
The reinforced barriers flared to maximum capacity, and the audience felt their seats tremble. The aftershock was so pure that even sound seemed to lag behind.
When the glow finally dissipated, Wallace stood at the center, unharmed.
However, one could see that several mages had already appeared around the platform as they controlled the explosive Spell he just used...
Still, the stage around him was untouched, and there were only faint ripples of mana around...
A stunned silence followed... until the audience erupted into thunderous applause.
"That was... a quad-element fusion?!"
"Incredible! He stabilized all four affinities!"
"That shouldn’t even be possible without artifact catalysts! He’s probably about to become an Exemplar! A Tier 4 Mage!"
Sofia also clenched her fist as she saw that Spell.
"That... was Tier 3? No, that was already at the level of Tier 4..."
