Chapter 107 - 97: This Place Is Truly Hell (Part 2)

"Shit, shit!"

Roken once more anxiously took off his cowboy hat and slammed it onto the ground.

The nun quickly comforted him, "Don't be anxious, Mr. Roken, at least we are still alive, aren't we?"

"It's easy for you to say, who wouldn't be anxious arriving in Hell? I can't die here; I must survive to return." Roken strode forward.

The blood mist greatly obscured vision; from four or five steps away, one could only see vague outlines of figures.

The nun saw Roken walking so fast and hurried to catch up with small steps.

"Mr. Roken, Mr. Roken, wait for me."

After walking for an unknown duration within the blood mist, the view in front of the two suddenly cleared.

As they emerged from the blood mist, they suddenly faced a graveyard unaffected by the mist.

"What is this?"

Roken looked at the nun beside him with surprise and doubt, "Why are there human structures in Hell? I even saw a Lamborghini."

"I'm not sure either," the nun said, equally taken aback.

The scene before them was still somewhat too bizarre for the two.

As they entered the graveyard, Dahuang immediately ran over barking loudly at the intrusion.

The commotion quickly caught the attention of Sun Yan and his two companions, who were resting in the main house.

As the doors opened, Sun Yan stormed out, wielding a Golden Halberd.

When he saw that the intruders were humans and not demons, he was momentarily stunned.

"Are you humans or ghosts?"

"Thank God, they really are humans."

Roken instantly relaxed upon hearing Sun Yan speak.

Though puzzled why a graveyard appeared in Hell, knowing Sun Yan was human gave Roken a strange sense of belonging.

With more people to huddle together, it would be safer staying in Hell.

Unbeknownst to Roken, Sun Yan was equally surprised; his presence here was solely due to the graveyard.

So what was going on with these two?

Seriously, how could they be so badass to storm into Hell alone, attempting to single-handedly defeat Satan?

"Sir, how did you manage to come out from the blood mist?"

Sun Yan offered a cigarette to the other party, seeking to close ties while inquiring about his biggest curiosity.

"Hello, my name is Roken, and this is Sister Jessica. Due to uncontrollable forces, we accidentally arrived in Hell..."

After accepting the cigarette, Roken lit it and inhaled deeply to calm himself before explaining their predicament.

Roken, an exorcist living in New York City and a member of the Exorcist Association.

"They are my companions, highly trustworthy. Sister, I suggest not asking further questions." Sun Yan replied with a calm smile.

"Understood," Jessica nodded.

They all entered the main house and sat around the dining table.

Before Bloody Sunday ends, demons could come knocking again, so all Sun Yan and others could do was rest.

Gather strength for facing unknown dangers.

...

Da-da-da!

Heavy hoofbeats echoed across the barren land.

Several skeleton horses clad in black iron armor slowly advanced, with skeletal knights clad in armor seated atop.

They carried Heavy Knight's Swords, and wherever the skeleton horses trotted, flaming hoofprints were left behind.

As they emerged from the blood mist, the outline of the graveyard abruptly appeared before the undead knights.

The flames flared even fiercer.

"Ree!"

The skeleton horses gave a long whinny and charged into the graveyard.

Instantly, the earth shook violently.

The Demon-Slaying Crossbow Tower reacted at once, shooting crossbow arrows at the undead knights.

Bang!

An undead knight, at the forefront, sliced a crossbow arrow away with its sword, steering its skeleton horse towards the main house.

Their goal seemed crystal clear: entering the main house to retrieve something.

With the undead knight's impending collision with the main house's exterior wall, a dexterous figure quickly appeared in front of it.

It was Sosia, transformed as a werewolf.

Her muscular arms braced the skeleton horse's head, trying to slow its pace.

Yet the power of the horse's charge far exceeded Sosia's imagination; even her werewolf strength couldn't withstand the skeleton horse's impact.

Her feet were plowed into the ground, sliding back seven or eight meters before barely halting the horse's momentum.

Anyone could see that Sosia wasn't a match for this creature.

"Even undead knights have appeared; we're in trouble."

Roken finally ran out of the main house, pulled the pair of revolvers from his waist, and spoke darkly.

"Are undead knights very formidable?" Sun Yan inquired.

"Very formidable indeed! These are demons impossible to summon into the real world, visible only in Hell. If you ever see them in North America, it means Hell's army has burst forth, spelling doom for this world."

Without wasting words, Roken began shooting at the undead knights.

If they couldn't deal with these demons, none could survive to see the sun rise tomorrow.

Roken's marksmanship was awe-inspiring, sparks flying off the undead knights.

Sun Yan noticed his revolvers and bullets were similar to the Demon Exorcism Shotgun Geralt had given Sosia—tailored products likely imbued with Holy Water.

Western Church must have secretly developed a professional demon-exorcism arms industry.

Any firearm could be a target for modification, be it a Gatling, AK-47, or even a missile.

Boom, boom, boom!

Bullets bouncing off their armor barely harmed the undead knights; their prowess surpassed the formidable red-skinned demons Sun Yan had faced.

The sheer might was unnervingly suffocating.

Elise quietly stood behind Sun Yan and whispered, "Don't worry. If it comes to the worst, I'll get you out of here."

Sun Yan shook his head, "No, leaving the graveyard means entering Hell. That's as good as dead. I'll defend here to the death! Even if I perish, I want to die in the graveyard!"

Elise looked at him with a complex gaze, "You're really stubborn."

An unblocked undead knight, despite the Demon-Slaying Crossbow Arrows, couldn't penetrate its armor, allowing it to roam freely.

It rushed straight for the main house's outer wall; just as the skeleton horse was about to crash into the wall.

The entire main house brightly illuminated with a faint white light, instantly repelling both skeleton horse and undead knight.

"Ah!!!"

The undead knight's soul within its eye sockets flickered momentarily, and its skull immediately cracked, extinguishing its Fire of the Soul inside.

A Three-Pointed Double-Edged Spear, seemingly appearing from nowhere, pierced its armor, cleaving its body in two.

Instinctively, Sun Yan looked towards the Worship Room and shouted joyfully, "True Monarch Erlang!"
