Chapter 33: Blood On The Snow[6]

Chapter 33: Blood On The Snow[6]

The wall of the Tiger Tribe temporary base fell down as Xior drove two tigers into the ground as he crushed their necks with his bare hands.

His hands were full of blood, so was his whole body. He came crashing into the base and started slaughtering them in hopes of them telling where Becca was, but no one said anything.

He looked back and saw two dozen more Tigers with their weapons in hand, he was enraged so much that he didn’t bother using his skills, before starting the slaughter he had absorbed strength runes.

His strength was more than enough to rip them to shreds, he ran at them with his blood covered fists, one punch, two punches, three punches. Heads and bodies of the tigers started exploding like balloons.

Some managed to cut him only for his wounds to close back instantly, one managed to almost cut off his head, with one hand he stopped his head from cutting off fully.

The cut flesh writhed like tentacles and joined together as he was fully healed. He punched some while some got kicked.

In a few minutes all of the tigers were down, all of them were missing limbs, heads or even full torso.

From behind him a clap came, and the stench of a demon went up his nose. He tuned back to see a hooded demon clapping in the distance.

"Well done, Child of the End. You’ve been a nuisance in my masters plans, so enjoy this while you can. Your fate will be tragic." The demon said and vanished into a portal he opened.

Xior stood there, his white hair was stained with blood as he thought of what the demon had said, ’my fate? Huh, as if I don’t know it myself. I’m bound to die...this feeling of the end clinging to me is proof of that.’

The Tiger Chief looked down at Rain and growled, "how dare you human come face to face with me?"

"Because of my employee, leave the girl alone and I will take the humans out of you conflict." Rain declared.

"And what if I don’t? I don’t see you and these wolf bastards capable of doing anything against my soldiers." The Tiger chief spat out in anger.

"Pride is good but not when it clouds your judgement, you and your kittens are no threat to us."

Rain replied, his voice cut through the Chief as he saw the expression on his face turn grim.

"Look at yourself, you’re the failed attempt at creating humans. We keep you as *pets*, so don’t forget your place, you’re nothing but overgrown house cats." Rain mocked and earned a few chuckles.

The Tiger Chief was pissed off beyond measure, he tightened his grip of his sword and swung it towards Rain. Rain however managed to block it with his own.

But the strength behind the tigers strike was so much that Rain went flying over the wolf soldiers and crashed into the mountain side.

"Tharnak, negotiations are over." The Tiger chief turned and went back to his position.

Tharnak did the same as his soldiers took out their weapons. War horns were blown on both side and so it began, Tharnak started running towards the Tigers first.

Tharnak took a deep breath and shouted, "my soldiers show these cats what a true warrior is."

He paused as the wolves behind him howled in unison and he shouted.

"My soldiers! My comrades! My pack! Today we might die so that our future generations may live!

So charge with all your might! RAGE! RAGE against these overgrown cats.

Don’t stop! For the future! For the Wolf Tribe...CHARGE!"

As Tharnak said the final charge the armies collided, heads flew all over as both cut down each other. Tharnak cut through a dozen Tigers as if they were made up of bread.

The same was for the Tiger Chief, he too killed a dozen wolves with only two swings of his greatsword.

Both of the Chief’s continued as their eyes met, both of them ran towards each other. Tharnak swung his blade from below and the Tiger Chief blocked it with a swing from above his head.

A gust of wind erupted from their clash as both activated their runes to overpower each other. The overwhelming pressure made the surrounding soldiers stop fighting, the mana both expelled was so potent and intense that the wind surrounding them shot upwards.

In the sky the grey cloud was pierced by the wind and split into two, legends said that the warriors are at the peak if their clash splits the sky. And it happened.

From the sky a figure crashed into the Tiger Chief like a shooting star, when the dust settled, Rain was on top of the tiger as he pounded his face with his bare fists.

The tiger blocked and shoved him away, Rain flipped in the air and landed on his feet but someone grabbed his neck in a chokehold.

It was none other than the demon who had escaped Xior, the Tiger chief walked towards Rain with his greatsword in hand.

He raised it to cut him down but Tharnak tackled him, Rain also smacked his head onto the demons face to make him loosen his grip.

He quickly turned and stabbed the demons abdomen and swung it upwards cutting it in half. Not far away from him Tharnak and the tiger chief fought each other with bare hands.

Rain then turned his attention to Becca who was amidst at least a hundred tigers. He sighed, ’what is Xior doing, if this keeps up....we will lose.’

While he was gone, Rain as the Vice-guildmaster had to do something, he had tried to negotiate with the tigers which failed.

So he decided he was going to answer them with aggression as well. He took both of his swords in hand and ran towards the tigers.

He swung his swords as multiple arcs of compressed wind jumped out of his swords and cut through multiple tigers at the same time.
