Chapter 148: I’m gay for only you.
A soft scoff rolled out of Augustine’s mouth as he nodded slightly, then closed the distance between himself and Charles.
Standing beside Charles, Augustine took a breath and murmured with a teasing glint in his eyes, "Do you want to have sex with me?"
"What!" Charles exclaimed, springing up from his seat. "Se... Sex? Why would you assume I want to do that with you?" he asked, his voice stumbling over each word, a mix of shock and embarrassment clouding his expression.
Seeing the stunned expression on Charles’s face, Augustine chuckled softly, clearly amused. "You’re so cute," he purred, sliding his hands gently to either side of Charles’s waist, his touch light but possessive.
He leaned in just a little, his amber eyes locking with Charles’s. "I love it when you get all shy around me," he whispered seductively, his voice like silk.
Instantly, Charles’s cheeks flushed a deep pink, and the tips of his ears turned bright red, betraying just how flustered he truly was.
Charles curled his fingers gently around Augustine’s neck, pulling him just a bit closer. "I like it when you tease me, sometimes," he purred, his voice low and intimate.
"Really?" Augustine arched a brow, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. "I thought you hated it whenever I tease you?" he asked, his voice laced with mischief.
Charles sneered, rolling his eyes at Augustine. "I don’t like it when you tease me all the time. Sometimes, it’s annoying, but most times, it’s nice," he whispered.
With a soft sigh, Charles withdrew his hands from Augustine’s neck and turned his gaze towards the dining chair, settling into the seat with a calm expression.
"Come sit with me," Charles purred, patting his thigh as he motioned for Augustine to sit on his legs.
Charles was bent on making sure Augustine sit above his leg. Besides, this was something Charles had long wished for, a moment he had imagined countless times, and now that Augustine was here, he wasn’t going to let it slip by.
Inhaling!
Augustine drew in a deep breath, parting his legs so that each rested on either side of the chair.
Slowly, he lowered himself onto Charles’s legs, his arms slipping around Charles’s neck.
"This feels weird," Augustine purred, his gaze locked deeply with Charles’s eyes, a soft smile playing on his lips.
Charles winked. "You have to get used to it," he mumbled, biting his lower lip before falling silent for a brief moment.
"Are you aware that you’re handsome?" Charles asked, his voice soft and sincere.
Now that he had confessed his love to Augustine, he no longer felt the need to hide the thoughts that crossed his mind.
Besides, Charles had been longing to tell Augustine just how handsome he was.
Augustine sniffed, his cheeks slightly flushed as he pulled his hands away from Charles’s neck, nervously scratching the back of his head.
Charles could tell from Augustine’s behavior that he was getting shy.
"I like it when I leave you speechless," Charles whispered, a proud smile tugging at his lips.
Augustine scoffed, nodding slightly, unable to find the right words as he was left tongue-tied.
The teasing intensity in Charles’s gaze faded, replaced by a more serious expression. "How is your health?" he asked softly, his tone filled with concern.
Augustine sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping as he nodded. "My health is good," he answered solemnly.
He fluttered his eyelashes for a moment, then gently withdrew his hands from his head, placing them on Charles’s cheeks, his touch soft but filled with a quiet intensity.
"Can I ask you something?" Augustine’s tone was serious, and the shift in his voice made Charles raise his brows in curiosity.
"Sure, anything," Charles quickly replied, his voice steady yet intrigued by the sudden change in Augustine’s demeanor.
Augustine took in a deep breath, caressing Charles’s cheeks with his thumbs. "Are you feeling confused?" Augustine probed.
Charles blinked, caught off guard by the question.
He stared at Augustine, his expression softening. "Confused?" he echoed, taking a moment to process. "About what?" he asked, his voice laced with a mix of curiosity and concern, unsure of where this conversation was headed.
Despite the baffled expression on Charles’s face, Augustine nodded slowly. "I want to know, Pookie. Do you feel confused about your sexuality?" Augustine questioned, his voice steady and curious.
Before Charles could even gather his thoughts to respond, Augustine added another question, his gaze intense. "Do you want to see a therapist about this confusion you’re feeling? I can also give you space if you need time to process your new sexual orientation."
Charles chuckled, a light giggle escaping his lips.
"You always say I’m cute, but honestly, you’re way cuter than me." Charles purred with a teasing, playful tone. "And just so you know, I won’t say I’m not confused... because I definitely am."
Charles paused for a while, forcing a thin smile to his lips. "I’ve never dated a guy before and never found a guy attractive, so you’re my first," he admitted. "I don’t know if I’m a straight guy who’s gay for only you, or if I’m bisexual—or even just a gay guy."
Augustine’s expression softened. "I get it," he murmured, his voice tender. "It’s okay to be uncertain, Pookie. You don’t have to label yourself just yet. You’re allowed to explore how you feel and figure things out at your own pace. What matters is that you’re with me, and I’m right here, no matter what you discover about yourself."
He leaned in closer, his forehead brushing against Charles’s. "You don’t have to rush into anything, Charles. I’m here with you, however you decide to define yourself."
Charles nodded. "I’m confused about what to identify as for now, but honestly, I don’t want to dwell on it. Whether I’m gay, bisexual, or straight—it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I’m in love with you, and nothing is going to change that." He stated with a bold seductive voice.
Augustine’s heart skipped a beat, his eyes widening in surprise as a blush spread across his cheeks.
He lean his forehead away from that of Charles as a jolt of electricity surged through his body, leaving him momentarily breathless.
