Chapter 64: Immortal-Cup Part 5: One above the abyssal dog

Perkele (God of Debauchery, Depravity and Defilement) - Godfreya Omen Dog (Transcended God of Chaos and Madness):

The announcer says "That was incredible! And a good match to end the first stage of Immortal-Cup!

I’ll hope we’ll get an extra juicy battle going on after that last one, though I’m not sure if I can root for either of the next contestants.

Perkele and Godfreya... I wonder how it’ll end? Hopefully nothing gross comes out of it, but knowing these two, I don’t have my hopes up."

Perkele is playing with his knife in the prep room, until he hears Harlotte walk in. He asks her in a creepy smile and tone "What brings you down here? Do you want to get eaten, little one?"

Harlotte curls her arms and turns around for a moment, then she takes a deep breath and says "I have a favor to ask."

Perkele was a bit surprised by this, so he rose up from the bench and began to walk towards Harlotte. He says in a menacing tone "You know... asking me a favor is something you should do lightly."

Perkele takes a hold of Harlotte’s hair, brushes it and sniffs it.

Harlotte stood still and said "Still... You are the only one I can count on."

Perkele laughs a bit and then places the knife on Harlotte’s throat. Then he says "You are playing a dangerous game. Last time someone asked me a favor... they lost themselves in the darkness afterwards."

Harlotte says with a serious look in her eyes "But you did fulfil their wish in the end."

Perkele laughs a bit, then gets right on Harlotte’s face and stares into her eyes. He says "So?"

Harlotte and Perkele stare at each other for a moment, the latter menacingly and the former steadfastly.

Perkele stops staring at Harlotte eventually and takes off his knife from Harlotte’s neck. Then he placed a hand on her shoulder and asked "So... What are you going to ask?"

Harlotte says "I ask that you show mercy upon what has become of mes. The way you’d do it."

Perkele looks at Harlotte for a moment, words only known to two of them are spoken and Perkele leaves to the arena as the call has been made. Harlotte is left there standing for a while, unsure of everything.

Perkele and Freya were sent to the pocket dimension. Both had a confident look on their faces.

Freya said smugly after all the victory they had "Now feel free to forfeit Perkele, my good friend. I know you have some skill, but in the face of unkillable singular beings, you are no match for me. I mean did you SEE how I tore through poor Avaru? Absolute savagery!"

Perkele smiled as he stared and played with his knife. He said "I only have one question for you, my ’friend’. If you may?"

Freya made a fake yawn as they said "You really want to bore with your bullshit again?

Honestly, what did this timeline’s version of me see in you? Some big brother figure? Oh please. Get away from that shit."

Perkele flips his knife and then scratches his neck with it as he mutters "So the pipsqueak was right. The abyss really did you that bad."

Freya stifled a fake laugh and said "Come again?"

Perkele points his knife at Godfreya and asks "So can I?"

Freya chuckles for a moment and says "You really are hung up on that question. Fine, do ask me, the only person who has seen the next era. What do you want to ask?"

Perkele then makes his knife disappear and says "Thank you. It is a very simple question really. The question is this.

Have you ever seen me bleed?"

Freya stares at Perkele, stunned. After a moment or so, they began to laugh hysterically. Some tears start to come out because they are laughing so hard.

Eventually they muster the strength to say "Are... Are you serious? That is your question?...

Out of all the things you could have asked... you asked... If I, in all the times I have seen you, no matter what timeline, have I seen you bleed?"

Perkele shrugs and says "Oh you can’t even answer that? What an amazing singular being you are. You must be on the same level as that Nemesis fellow. So deranged that you can’t answer such a simple question. I guess I’ll never know."

Freya gets annoyed and says "I do know. I... wait..."

Perkele says in an annoying tone "Hmmm? Something wrong?"

Freya scratches their head in confusion and mutters "Strange. In all those timelines, I’m sure I would have seen you bleed even once."

Perkele closes his eyes, nods in satisfaction and says "So I take that as a no. Poor, poor god of madness. You have yet to see something in all those possible timelines."

Freya gets annoyed and says "Shut up! Why is that so important anyways? Agh... Nevermind. Let’s start already."

Freya tries to punch Perkele, but he catches their fist and throws them away.

Freya gets a little confused since they don’t remember Perkele ever being strong enough to catch a fist with that much force behind it.

Freya tries to attack again and again, but each attack is either blocked or dodged by Perkele.

They are getting more and more frustrated, so instead of relying on physical strength, they try to cast powerful, planet destroying spells.

The spells Freya casted were so immense, that the camera looking at the fight had hard time catching footage worthy content.

After all those attacks, Perkele is nowhere to be seen and Freya, floating in the now empty arena, says "So much for the god of savages."

Then Perkele seemingly teleports behind Freya and says "You thought that it’d be that easy?"

Before Freya could even react to Perkele’s words, they were punched to the oblivion where a platform still existed as a hard concrete like rock and few twisted pillars. Freya would find it odd that they were so conveniently there, but they couldn’t form that thought before they heard Perkele’s voice say behind them "How about I show you what a god of defilement can really do."

Freya got up, but before they could do anything, Perkele stabbed them with a twisted knife and suddenly Freya’s body started to conform. Their hands twisted as they spiraled in a very unnatural way. Then Freya’s hand began to, in their twisted state, grow longer and towards the ground.

As Freya’s arms were now the length of their whole body, their back twisted so it would make a comfortable angle to sit on. Their legs were also forced into a state where they looked like a humanoid body’s version of chair legs.

Freya was screaming in pain, but then, while leaving the twisted knife on Godfreya, Perkele sat on the living, twisted humanoid chair of a person. He crossed his own legs and leaned to

Freya’s torso now resembles a flesh chair back.

The audience were horrified by the situation and the majority threw up from the sheer body horror. Mercy could hear some people shout to end the match, but Mercy did not care for those shouts.

For some reason, Freya couldn’t do anything to stop all of this from happening, even with all their powers. They asked in terror "What... What did you do to me?"

Perkele said "You are too slow to be as powerful as you think you are."

Then Perkele got up from Freya chair and smiled sweetly at Freya’s horrified face.

Then suddenly, Freya began to slowly shrink into a fistsized lump of flesh while being completely conscious. When the Freya flesh lump was finished, Perkele looked at the two eyes that they had left and said "How does it feel? The culmination of seemingly all chaos gods from all timelines, concentrated to a fist sized lump of flesh who doesn’t even have a mouth to scream from. How does it feel? To be so powerful, yet so insignificant that a bunch of bored kids could just continuously throw you into walls and hit you with sticks without any consequences. I grant you the pleasure to be able to still even see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears. So... Listen well, all who can hear."

Perkele presents the flesh lump that Freya now was to the camera and says "This is what the god of defilement can do to you. To make you into an immortal flesh lump who might not even be able to see or hear. This... It can be your fate."

"Do... Not... Fuck with me."

Then Perkele throws Freya like trash to the side and makes them turn back into the form they were previously in. In the most painful way. Once they regain their mouth, the eerie scream that they make feel those who are still watching shiver in terror.

Perkele says with scorn as he holds a dark orb of some sort "We are done here."

The match ended in Perkele’s victory, but none of the people watching could call it a victory. It was demonstration of how Perkele could torture you.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if some people threw up while watching it, but those smart enough avoided eating in the first place.

.

Atkoosa (God of Suns) - Otzal (God of Ice and Stillness):

The announcer says "Well umm... ugh... I just lost my appetite. But let’s not, ugh... let that hold ourselves back for the next match.

Next we have... Atkoosa and Otzal. Honestly, if it weren’t for that last match, I’d be totally heated up right now but... ugh... I can barely do my job now. Let’s... ugh... welcome our next contestants, Atkoosa... ugh... and Otzal."

Atkoosa and Otzal enter the arena, both in their unique way.

Atkoosa asks Otzal before they are sent to the pocket dimension "So... how has it been so far?"

Otzal answers "Dreary."

Atkoosa responds with "Same old, same old, I guess."

Soon, the two are sent to a pocket dimension that resembles a plateau of some kind. Otzal immediately tries to use his power and freeze the whole place, but Atkoosa uses his warmth to make sure the cold doesn’t spread too close to him.

Atkoosa then sends sun rays at Otzal, who in turn tries to block them with ice shields that grow from the ground.

Of course, the radiation passes through, but Otzal isn’t too worried about it for one reason or another.

Otzal sends spikes of ice, which melt as soon as they get too close to Atkoosa. Atkoosa continues to send powerful sun flares at Otzal, but Otzal’s cold is enough to ward off the heat multiple times over.

This exchange goes for a while, with neither side seemingly getting any closer to victory, but eventually, Otzal begins to cough off golden blood from his mouth.

Atkoosa smiles and says "Knew it would eventually get to you."

Otzal increases the intensity of his frost and Atkoosa begins to have more trouble than usual. Atkoosa’s flares don’t reach as far as he’d hoped for them to reach, and surprisingly, he begins to have some trouble moving his fingers.

Eventually though, Otzal falls down and stops being able to move a finger of his own. Otzal groans "I... concede."

With that, the match ended in Atkoosa’s victory.

.

Cheesos (God of Tactics and Luck) - Fates (Gods of Law):

The announcer says "Well that took a while. Of course the spewing aether and eternal stillness would have a long fight, but it really makes me worry if it’ll get dark at this rate.

With that in mind, let’s move onto the next contestants. Cheesos and Fates. Will luck win the match, or is law set in stone? Let’s find out."

Cheesos and Fates step into the arena, with Cheesos having a cheeky smile on her face.

Present asks Cheesos "What makes you make that kind of face? We already are confident in our victory."

Cheesos answers "I have a different opinion though. While luck is often reliant on fate itself, it isn’t like I can’t bend the rules ever so slightly to my favor."

Past says "We’ll see."

Soon, the two are sent to a frozen desert. Fates immediately disappear from sight, but Cheesos isn’t too worried about it.

As Cheesos walks around, she stumbles upon a rock and falls over as if fate itself made her dodge the attack that was coming from the Present.

Present tries to attack twice, but Cheesos throws a knife that hits Present right on the face, which eventually defeats Present.

Past and Future aren’t too far behind, and they attack the now fallen over Cheesos in unison now that their strategy has fallen apart.

Cheesos rolls around to dodge the attacks Past and Future are attempting and successfully evades them.

Cheesos throws two more daggers at the Fates, and while one manages to scrape Past, Future manages to block it in its entirety.

Cheesos clicks her tongue, and runs for it in preparation of the Fates next attack, after which she falls over once more seemingly by the act of fate and dodged the consequent attacks of Past and Future.

Past and Future don’t end it there and try to attack Cheesos once more as she is vulnerable, but Cheesos dodges the attacks just enough to not get hit by them.

Cheesos then chooses to run to the daggers that were left on the ground previously and pockets them for the next exchange.

Past tries to attack Cheesos, but due to the scrape from earlier, her attack misses on its own, giving Cheesos an opportunity to stab the dagger at Past’s face.

Future, seeing the opportunity, attacked Cheesos as she was in the middle of the stab. Cheesos takes the hit, which slices her in two from the waist down, but she has the last dagger with her and manages to throw it at Future just with enough force to pierce future’s head.

The match ended in Cheesos’ victory.

When they were back in the arena, Present scoffed and said "You got lucky." To which Past and Future nodded.

Cheesos smirked, gave a thumbs up and said "That is what I’m known for."

With that the match ended.

.

Ferqu (God of Change) - Taboo (Hex God):

The announcer says "Well that was a match with close calls, hope the next one will be as exciting as the last, if not more.

Next up is Ferqu and Taboo. I vote for Ferqu, but we’ll see how it’ll go."

Ferqu and Taboo enter the arena and Ferqu says to Taboo "Good luck getting those curses anywhere near me. I’ll change their nature as soon as they get embedded in me."

Taboo responds "Good luck."

Both are sent to a fallen city of some sort and Taboo immediately disappears like last time.

Ferqu begins to change the environment to house many animalistic creatures in search for Taboo, but try as he might, he can’t find her with his familiars.

Eventually Ferqu’s familiars begin to die one by one with curses that they have found.

Some get transferred to Ferqu himself, but he just changes their nature with his power.

This continues a while, but as Ferqu gets more transferred of curses and the need to change them, his power grows weaker and weaker.

Eventually, Ferqu loses his ability to command any of his familiar, after which the curses that the familiars find overwrite Ferqu’s previous command and they proceed to attack Ferqu instead of trying to hunt down Taboo.

For Ferqu, those familiars aren’t hard to deal with, but with each passing slaying of the familiar, Ferqu starts to move slower and slower. As if the composition of his body begins to turn into solid stone.

Eventually though, Ferqu becomes too slow to defend against his own familiars and gets eaten by them. Those familiars, losing their source of power, disappear themselves, leaving bits and pieces of Ferqu laying all around the arena.

Being smaller now, what remains of Ferqu turns into small pebbles and Ferqu is officially defeated.

Once back in the arena, Ferqu says to Taboo "I hate to admit it, but you did end up overpowering me once more. Hats off to you, Taboo."

Taboo doesn’t listen and begins to leave as soon as her victory was announced.

Ferqu sighs and says "You are still the same. I always wished that, with my power, I could overturn your fate. But as I am now... I see no such future."
