When Gu Lingling came out of the bathroom, she saw her father standing by the window not far away, staring blankly outside.
"Dad." Gu Lingling walked up, "What’s wrong?"
His face seemed a bit off.
"Ah? Let’s go home." Gu Chunhai snapped out of it and gave his daughter a smile, shaking the medicine in his hand, "I got the meds, let’s go home."
At the turn, Shen Lingyu watched them leave suspiciously. Just then, a nurse passed by, and Lingyu grabbed her, asking, "What are those two here for?"
"Oh, you’re talking about them." The young nurse said, "That girl fainted in the snow yesterday and was brought to our hospital. Today, she’s here for a check-up in obstetrics and gynecology. After all, she was out in the snow for quite a while."
The young nurse gave Shen Lingyu an understanding look, "Doctor Shen, do you know them?"
"Oh, they just looked familiar." Shen Lingyu said, "How did she faint from the cold?"
"Who knows? I heard it was someone from the Special Team who found her and brought her to the hospital." The young nurse shrugged, "She was lucky. If the Special Team hadn’t been out clearing snow and found her, she probably would have frozen to death."
Special Team?
Could it be Yang Yunhai?
Shen Lingyu nodded and glanced again at the direction where Gu Lingling was, then headed towards the obstetrics and gynecology department, "Director, are you on rotation today?"
"Why are you here?" Director Ren Cuiling smiled, "Isn’t your department busy today?"
"It’s still the same." Shen Lingyu smiled, "By the way, I just saw a girl and her father leaving from here, what’s with her?"
"She hasn’t had her first period at 16." Ren Cuiling shook her head, "She once fell into cold water during the late spring cold snap, and now she fainted in the snow, so they suggested checking in obstetrics and gynecology."
"She’s 16 already?" Shen Lingyu asked, "And hasn’t started yet?"

But it was said she fell into cold water once and now fainted in the snow, it’s naturally not just a period issue; it might be hard for her to become a mother in the future.

She hadn’t forgotten this was the girl who argued with her at Yunhai’s house, and about those rumors going around recently, although they didn’t specify who, Shen Lingyu knew it should be Gu Lingling.
She originally thought Yang Yunhai treated everyone the same.
But she hadn’t expected that a little girl could get his attention.
