Chapter 88: Coventher
In those moments, the entity of Corvus boomed into his mind. "Go to Cypriox now. Find out what’s happening, for I feel the Aopudes are searching for a phoenix’s blood—the man who created the powerful mechanism."
"Don’t worry. I can get there if you let me use the blackmist-teleportation."
"Transform into a crow first so I can send you there in an instant," it said. A black smoke instantly enveloped Matar, and afterward, a black bird appeared. Matar had successfully turned into a crow, and as he floated in the air, a wisp of black mist appeared, and Matar flew into it. In an instant, he was in front of the Cypriox convent.
Matar’s numbers in crow form multiplied and spread throughout Cypriox, but everyone was shocked by the sudden influx. They thought it was a result of the fierce light that had fallen from the sky, causing chaos among the animals. Matar saw Sentheria and her companions walking.
"We’ve been searching Cypriox for days, but my staff can’t find his location," Sentheria said. She stopped in front of a tree.
"Could we be too late?" said an Aopudes wearing a long-sleeved blue and green garment. But another companion, also an Aopudes, arrived.
"Elder Sentheria, I’ve found Coventher," he said joyfully. "The thing is, he’s in the Cypriox dungeon. There are guards."
"Then let’s go. I’ll take care of them," Sentheria replied with a spirited, fearless tone. Sentheria was hooded, so the Cyprioxians there wouldn’t recognize her. Only the Vrupercan race had been banished by the kings long ago, so the Aopudes weren’t worried about being seen by the people there. Many Elanthros flew above, but they were puzzled by the few black birds—crows—that were also flying. A bird loathed by the Cyprioxians, but because of the recent appearance of the light, the sudden rush of birds was disregarded.
"It seems the Corvus entity is here," Sentheria said to her companions. She struck her staff, which glowed to reveal a hidden energy watching them. The Corvus entity immediately gave an order.
"Cause a commotion with them," Corvus commanded.
Sentheria and her companions headed straight for the Cypriox dungeon to rescue Coventher. The guards saw them—their white armor bore a red cross on their chests. They had pistols with eagle heads at the end of the barrels, a design from Elanthro. Each bullet could weaken people with wings.
Sentheria’s staff alone caught the circular bullets, using a green energy that formed an orb shield around them. The shots of the Cyprioxian guards could not penetrate it.
Although they had no key, with Sentheria’s magic, the iron bars immediately opened. "Who are you?" said the priest. He didn’t recognize the hooded people.
"We’re here to rescue you," Sentheria said. She immediately threw off her cloak, revealing her youthful face. Even though Sentheria was 149 years old, her knees would occasionally ache, and she would tire easily—the unavoidable movements of an elder.
"Your youthful face still hasn’t faded, Sentheria," Coventher said. Coventher hadn’t expected the two of them to meet again. He saw the guards lying unconscious on the rough dungeon floor. "What did you do to them?"
"Hehe, nothing, I just flicked them with my staff. I punched them hard with a big green fist," Sentheria said playfully.
Coventher was simply amazed; his priestly robes touched the unconscious guards lying on the floor. "Let’s hurry, the Cypriox soldiers might arrive. It will be difficult for us to transform if we get hit by their bullets."
"The Aopudes. The magnificent race protected by the Apus Entity," Coventher said. "How is Arthen?"
"He can still fly, but getting old is different now." Sentheria and her companions saw their basket vehicle in the corner behind the church. "Get in, Coventher. Because I think there’s an eye watching us now." Sentheria suddenly shot a tree branch, hitting a black bird.
"The Corvus entity!" Coventher said. "Be careful, I’m sure someone is using the crows to spy on us here."
"Hehe, your senses are sharp, witch." A black mist suddenly spread across the ground, and crows emerged, circling in a dizzying swarm. They were now inside the illusion created by Matar. In Sentheria’s eyes, the surroundings turned blood red, their feet were on a cemetery floor, and corpses were scattered on the ground. Only Matar’s voice could be heard. "He’s trapped us," Coventher said.
"Stick close to me, my companions." Sentheria sat on the ground and began an incantation to fight against Matar’s black illusion.
"Do you think the Corvus entity will let the Phoenix’s chosen one live again? Why don’t you just become like the Thallerions who have forgotten Orion?"
"Aren’t you afraid the Crux Entity will curse you for entering this land?" Coventher said.
"Hahahaha, if I told you, we’re not in Cypriox anymore."
"What!?" They were all so shocked their eyes bulged.
"We are in the hell I created for the six of you!"
"If so, you might have made a mistake in your attack. Remember, each of us holds an entity," Sentheria said calmly, finishing her incantation. Her entire tattoo glowed, and green-colored spirits emerged, growling like guards surrounding them.
"We can get out of this illusion. I will use the Crux divine light to erase this place."
"And the four of us will face the rising corpses." The dead rose; the ground opened, and giant, terrifying creatures emerged, their flesh tattered and their bodies filled with worms as big as palms.
They groaned. "Give me enough time," Coventher said.
"Don’t worry, the green warriors are here, surrounding us," Sentheria said.
"Haha, without that staff of yours, you’re useless, witch!" Matar said.
"The moment I see you, I’ll make you eat my staff so you know that my abilities don’t just come from here."
The countless corpses immediately charged towards Sentheria. But Sentheria’s puppets, made of green energy, also moved, connected to her forehead by thin threads.
A few minutes passed, and the number of corpses grew and grew, but even when they were cut into pieces, the severed parts still moved.
"Just a little longer," Coventher said, opening his consciousness and connecting to the Crux Entity. His mind was given a complete understanding of the power of the Crux.
The divine light began to envelop Coventher’s body, and his eyes were as bright as the sun. In his hands, a glowing circle appeared and was lifted into the air.
"You won’t be able to destroy this place," Matar’s voice echoed throughout the dimension.
"Let’s see, here it comes!" Coventher immediately dropped the ball of light to the ground, and the circle of light grew like a bubble rising from under the water. The light expanded in size and melted away Matar’s illusions.
When they looked around, they were in the middle of a forest, a place they didn’t know. But Matar had vanished, fleeing without them ever figuring out where he went.
"That power was so strong, how did you do that?" Sentheria said. Coventher was the first person to use such a strong energy in all of Cypriox, but he didn’t show it to many people because the religious Cyprioxians followed many rules.

Entities, like Corvus, also have their own names, but it has become the custom for people to call them Entities, such as the Entity of the Crow as Corvus.
According to the elders, the entity of the crows was formed from the many generations that have died; each of their souls becomes a crow. And because the Corvus entity lives on the crows, when all the crows are gathered, they become one large black bird.
However, during the time the crow entity, Corvus, was gathered, it was attacked by the Thunderbird of Elanthro, causing it to fall onto the land of Ossibuz. But its blood and flesh were eaten by the crows there. The former inhabitants of Ossibuz said that a black line spread, piercing all the crows. Afterward, Sapar’s grandfather arrived, a skilled sorcerer who could read the minds of animals, including crows. The Ossibians built a civilization under the leadership of Sapar’s grandfather, and with the help of the crows, their awareness spread throughout the country as if they had eyes in every corner of the world. However, crows rarely live in icy places.
Although they do not socialize with other countries, people wonder why they know the plans of other nations, as even the plans of foreign invasions do not escape the eyes of the crows.
"Matar," the Corvus Entity called out to Matar in his mind. Matar was awake, but his brain had someone speaking to him. "The time will come when we entities will escape, and I will no longer be able to speak in your mind on that day. I want you to collaborate with the chosen one of Triangulum."
"The Triangulum entity?" Matar said. "What kind of entity is that?" he said in his mind. He sat more comfortably to hear Corvus’s answer clearly.
"You will know that someday, but for now, the child marked by Triangulum is still an infant... The light that happened in Cypriox was the key to the life of a baby who had died," Corvus explained.
