Compared to the previous two methods, the Inter-Dimensional Warfare Command preferred Ding Yun to act directly. However, they worried if Ding Yun, as a cultivator, truly possessed the ability to deal with the Heavenly Dao of another world.
In their view, there was a significant gap between an ordinary cultivator and the Heavenly Dao. Even in myths and legends, saints were subject to the Heavenly Dao. Even if Ding Yun was the only remaining cultivator in the present era, the probability of her easily defeating the Heavenly Dao was extremely slim.
Facing their concerns, Ding Yun did not offer much explanation, merely stating that she had her own stratagems and they need not worry.
Even if she truly failed.
Were there not the first two methods still available?
Seeing Ding Yun’s insistence, and since they didn't believe she would willingly court death, they finally agreed with a mix of trust and doubt. They then escorted Ding Yun through the dual-gateway into the Martial Dao world.
Upon arrival, Ding Yun immediately felt a strong sense of repulsion from the world. Various negative energies began to converge on her, which over time would inevitably lead to misfortune and overwhelming bad luck. However, Ding Yun was not an ordinary person. In the next second, she dispelled all the negative auras and erected a barrier of isolation around herself:
"The world's repulsion is indeed severe. My plan still requires some time to prepare, so you all should not act rashly for now. We'll talk about it when I return in a few days!"
Although Ding Yun already had a plan, to ensure it proceeded relatively smoothly and perfectly, she still lacked some crucial details. Therefore, after uttering these few words, she immediately vanished into a beam of light, heading directly towards the current small imperial court to gather necessary materials.
Her primary objective was to observe the appearance of their Altar of Heaven and, coincidentally, understand the specific rituals of the Heaven-Worshipping Ceremony, comparing it with the Heaven-Worshipping Ceremony procedures in her memory, which would be helpful for her subsequent planning.
The process encountered no difficulties. After all, she was now at the Nascent Soul stage, infiltrating a small imperial court where not even Martial Saints comparable to the Golden Core stage existed.
What difficulties could there be?
In just one day, Ding Yun successfully obtained all the information she desired. She then began flying across the country, searching for raw materials. This took another three days to collect everything. Following this, she naturally met with the Inter-Dimensional Warfare Command with the gathered materials and had them cooperate in building the Altar of Heaven and sacrificial items.
The Inter-Dimensional Warfare Command, though still not understanding exactly what Ding Yun intended to do, obediently followed her instructions. With their assistance, a standard Altar of Heaven, entirely constructed by ordinary people, was successfully completed in just three days.
Various sacrificial items were also fully prepared.
Subsequently, Ding Yun began fasting and bathing that evening and at precisely noon the next day, appeared below the Altar of Heaven to perform the local Heaven-Worshipping rituals.
Not a single step was missed.
As for whether it would succeed and whether the Heavenly Dao would be attracted, it depended on the weight of the offerings prepared. The small imperial court previously had to perform a blood sacrifice of several Grandmasters, along with the offering of some remaining national fortune, to successfully awaken the Heavenly Dao.
Furthermore, this was the price required for the Heavenly Son lineage, recognized by the Heavenly Dao, to perform the Heaven-Worshipping Ceremony.
For a person from another world to attract the Heavenly Dao, the offerings had to be of a higher caliber.
Only then would it be possible.
However, Ding Yun was quite confident about this. After completing the initial rituals, she brought out the Omni-Processing Workshop and placed it on the main altar, which was the platform for the core offerings.
She then detached the original owner’s personal space, drawing upon the power of the world’s origin contained within to alert the Heavenly Dao. Ding Yun then placed this personal space inside the Omni-Processing Workshop.
And officially completed the final step of the sacrifice.
Now, it was just a matter of waiting to see if the Heavenly Dao would descend.
The Heavenly Dao possessed an instinctual craving for the origin of worlds. While the Omni-Processing Workshop might have only a general appeal to the Heavenly Dao, the personal space she presented was undoubtedly irresistible to it.
As the sacrifice was completed, within seconds, a vast and majestic consciousness of the Heavenly Dao descended. This consciousness directly entered the Omni-Processing Workshop, enveloping the personal space within, and preparing to absorb and digest the world’s origin contained within on the spot.
Concurrently, it did not forget to separate a wisp of its consciousness to communicate with Ding Yun, promising her that if she were willing to offer the world’s origin of the inter-dimensional world to it in the future, it would grant her the title of Heavenly Emperor and eternal life.
What was happening?
The Heavenly Dao believed that Ding Yun was offering a treasure containing the world’s origin to show goodwill, that she was compromising and seeking benefits from it.
The previous Heavenly Son lineage was essentially abolished, and it was unwilling to let go of a world origin no weaker than itself. Seeing that Ding Yun might be usable, it naturally did not want to miss this opportunity.
As for the promises, it was just drawing a blank check for now.
If she succeeded, granting her the position of Heavenly Emperor was no great loss.
Unfortunately, Ding Yun had no intention of cooperating with this Heavenly Dao consciousness, which had developed humanistic malice through blood sacrifices. As the moment arrived, she decisively activated the Omni-Processing Workshop. As she activated it, the Omni-Processing Workshop quickly read the blueprint for the Small World Bead that Ding Yun had stored long ago and began to furiously absorb the consciousness of the Heavenly Dao, both that which had already entered and that which had yet to enter.
It merged this with the personal space.
And forged it towards the direction of a Small World Bead.
That's right, Ding Yun intended to use the Omni-Processing Workshop to ambush the Heavenly Dao. Even if the Omni-Processing Workshop couldn't fully integrate the Heavenly Dao of this world as raw material into the personal space, it could still severely cripple the Heavenly Dao, making it difficult to intentionally target outsiders.
As for whether it would fail, before making this plan, Ding Yun had already inspected the Omni-Processing Workshop and confirmed the highest-level items it could produce. With sufficient energy, the Omni-Processing Workshop could create a Small Milky Way Bead, capable of forging an entire galaxy for its use. If it could handle a galaxy, then dealing with the Heavenly Dao of a life-bearing planet should be effortless.
It wasn't until the Omni-Processing Workshop was officially activated and began forging that the Heavenly Dao consciousness realized what was happening and frantically tried to break free. However, it was clearly unable to escape, and could only watch as its origin was continuously lost.
Until the Small World Bead was successfully forged.
The Omni-Processing Workshop ceased absorbing the Heavenly Dao consciousness.
At this point, the Heavenly Dao consciousness of the Martial Dao world had lost one-third of its essence and was no longer capable of maintaining clarity for an extended period. Moreover, out of fear of Ding Yun, it dared not linger in its current location and fled as quickly as possible, hiding within the world’s origin and not daring to show itself.
The deliberate targeting by the world’s consciousness.
Began to dissipate at this very moment.
However, since the Heavenly Dao consciousness had no physical form and did not manifest, Ding Yun’s actions appeared somewhat inexplicable to the onlookers.
After Ding Yun collected the Omni-Processing Workshop and the Small World Bead still inside it, she descended.
Everyone immediately crowded around her, asking for an explanation.
