Chapter 26: Offer
"You must have been wondering all this time why I called you here," Han said as he locked eyes with his favorite maid.
She nodded. "Yes. Young Master Han hasn’t given me any specific order so far, and this is an unusual place for me to stay by your side. Of course, I don’t mind."
"I have created a new spell with the Spellweaver’s Monolith. I used it to break the foreign seal in my subconscious and turned that mana into my own fuel. With no seal, I naturally evolved," Han explained.
Hanna’s eyes went cold. "Should I notify the Head?"
Han shook his head. "No. I used that foreign mana to evolve, so I don’t have any proof. Besides, I want to kill that person myself. My first clue is that it must be a snake expert. But that’s not what I wanted to talk about for now."
"Understood. How can I help you?" Hanna asked.
Leaning against the bathtub’s rim, Han looked into her eyes. "I want to use Dragonification on you."
Silence pressed in; the only sound was water tapping tile. Hanna’s breath caught, then steadied.
"Dragonification? Could it be... a spell to turn me into a dragon?" Hanna asked, shocked.
Still on the floor, Bellatrix was even more stunned. Creating a spell to turn someone into another race wasn’t something a mere acolyte Warlock should be able to achieve. It wasn’t just any race; it was a Demi-Human race, born from humanity’s woes. Han shouldn’t be anywhere close to creating such a spell, even with the Spellweaver’s Monolith.
Has a real monster been awakened in this generation? I mustn’t let him break me and bring him to the proper side! He can be the bridge between humans and Demi-Humans! Her nails bit into her palm; I won’t let the wrong side claim him.
She pressed her forehead to the cool tile to clear her head.
Oblivious to Bellatrix’s thoughts, he continued with Hanna.
He nodded. "Yes. Two things inspired me: Parasite Bears and your exoskeleton. I was intrigued by those black bones and how they could become weapons; I wanted to tamper with them. Also, it reminded me of when I sprouted my wings. It was like a new bone pushing out of my back. The process looks similar. So I’m interested in how Dragonification would work on you, since your bones are black and permanently enchanted."
His gaze lingered on the dark lines beneath her skin. He remembered the first pressure of his wings breaking through.
Bellatrix raised her face from the floor and shouted, "Wait a second! This is too dangerous! You’ve only just created this spell and haven’t tested it on anyone! You mustn’t use it on someone so precious and close to you! She’s your maid and has devoted herself to serving you!"
She’s worrying about Hanna even though she’s part of a Dark Family. How stupid.
"This spell worked on the seal. I get that the seal had weakened after two decades, but Dragonification worked," Han said.
Hanna said, "You shouldn’t concern yourself with my well-being, Young Master Han. Most of us became your maids because we were fans of your mother, the Red Mistress. We believed in your potential and wanted to use our knowledge and experience for your sake. Such a moment has arrived. Giving myself to Young Master Han’s bright future will give my life meaning. Use me as you wish."
She bowed her head low.
He had been good for nothing for over two decades, so most of them had lost hope in him. But now that he had finally awakened and dominated them, taking things into his own hands, it was Hanna’s and the other maids’ deepest wish to pave a path for Han to be as strong as, or even stronger than, his mother.
Hanna’s resolve was so strong that even Bellatrix couldn’t argue, or she’d seem to be looking down on her.
"I’ll call another maid here," Han said.
"Allow me—" Hanna insisted on doing it herself, but Han raised his hand and silenced her.
Soon, another maid entered the bathroom. She straightened at the solemn air. Like Hanna, she only glanced at Bellatrix and then focused on Han and Hanna. Even though Han was naked, his flaccid cock still jutting out, the mood stayed solemn, and she could tell something serious was happening.
"Strip, Hanna," Han said.
"Of course," Hanna replied.
The second maid swallowed. Could it be? No, it can’t be... Is Young Master interested in our black bones?
Once Hanna was stark naked, Han pointed a clawed hand at her abdomen and drew his Obsidian Cauldron on her. This alone banished all improper thoughts from the second maid’s head. Meanwhile, Hanna stood still like a statue as the cold tattoo drew itself on her.
Han didn’t activate it further, so there was no pain, though he was sure she wouldn’t bat an eye.
"Lie down," Han ordered again.
Hanna lay at the swimming pool’s edge. A slight roll to the side would send her into the water, which was what Han wanted, since if things went well, she would release a black, pungent liquid. He would rather have her washed immediately.
"I will now begin the process," Han said, meeting her gaze.
"Please do." Hanna nodded.
Three Dark Dragons appeared at his side; without hesitation, they lunged at Hanna. One bit into her thigh, one into her side, and the last into her neck.
The Dragonification began.
