Chapter 37: Ruthless Takeover
Someone in the Bellagrin Science Institute was making the drug!? Dante felt a rush of dread fill his body once he realized what this could mean! Does that mean that the Bellagrin had already gotten a hold of the producer for the drug!? That would be the end of the road for the other families! No one else would be able to sell the drugs anymore! But Dante suddenly frowned, and he forced himself to calm down. This didn’t make any sense at all! Dante had seen the drug just a few days ago, and he knew that there was still a lot of the drug on the market! Why would the Bellagrin allow the drug to circulate so randomly if they already had a monopoly on it? That was just bad business!
That could only mean one thing! The person making the drug was working in the Bellagrin Science Institute, but the Bellagrin family didn’t know about it! This ’Rachael Frost’ was making the drug right under the noses of the Bellagrin, and they were completely oblivious to it! Dante let out a calming breath as he felt a sudden surge of excitement fill his body! This was it! This could change everything for him! If Dante managed to find this girl and take her away from the Bellagrin, then he could gain a monopoly over the entire market before the other families even knew what was going on! Dante couldn’t believe how useful that one Information Box had been! This was only a Bronze Box, but he had gotten information that every single family in the city would have killed for! If the Bronze Box was this amazing, then just how amazing would the information in the Silver or Gold Boxes be!? Dante couldn’t let this chance go! He had a name as well as a location, so he knew that finding her wouldn’t be a problem, but there was something else that made Dante pause.
’The Bellagrin Science Institute. Isn’t that in the Fourth District? Fuck, that’s deep in the Bellagrin territory. If I try to send anyone in there to get Rachael, then they’ll be killed before they can even get her out.’
No matter how much Dante wanted to just go and grab Rachael, he knew that there was no way he could send any of his men that deep into the Bellagrin territory without raising suspicion, and if Dante told his men to grab her by any means possible, it would end up alerting the other families to his plan. Putting so much effort into kidnapping her would be a bad move. The only thing Dante could do was to try to kidnap her when no one was watching, but Dante would have to somehow get her across various police checkpoints and railway stations before he could bring her from the Fourth District into the Second District. Dante felt irritation rising from his heart when he thought about all the roadblocks between him and his prize, and he decided that he was going to send someone to the Fourth District to help him find Rachael and watch her every move. Dante would take his time to figure out a proper plan to extract her from the Bellagrin once and for all, but until then, Dante would just make sure no one else had caught on to her true identity.
Thinking about how difficult things were now just made Dante remember how the Bellagrin had taken his warehouse from him, and he felt the rage from earlier coming back to him even more intensely than before! Why the fuck was Dante thinking about how to extract someone from a Bellagrin territory!? If Dante wanted her, then he didn’t need to sneak in there! Dante needed to figure out a way to take the Fourth Territory away from those bastards!

In order to do this, the user must first take possession of the Fourth District belonging to the Bellagrin family. Take possession of the Fourth District and all businesses within it in order to complete this mission.

The Bellagrin have been identified as the family behind the unprovoked attack on your warehouse. The world of gangsters pays blood with even more blood; therefore, your mission is to acquire all of the Bellagrin territories and absorb them into the Lucas family to expand your influence.

Dante couldn’t help but exclaim in shock once he saw the two new missions that popped up in his system! The system was asking him to take over the Bellagrin family, and Dante didn’t have any problems with that, but the thing that caught Dante’s eye was the timer that he saw there. He had a time limit of two weeks to take over the Fourth District and three months to take over the entire Bellagrin family districts! That was insane. Other than the Lucas, the Bellagrin was the family with the largest number of members, so Dante knew that taking over their territory wasn’t going to be easy! There would be an all-out war, and he was certain that he would have to kill the head of the Bellagrin family before the other members would submit to him. But was this really that big of a deal? Dante’s eyes narrowed as this thought crossed his mind, and he glared at the missions with a cold look in his eyes. Dante had already decided that he was going to take over this city, so why should he be worried about having a time limit? Whether there was a time limit or not, Dante was already planning on moving as quickly as possible, so he decided that he would try to perform even better than the time limit! Dante would bring that entire family to its knees.
’And the first step to that plan is Aliya. I need to use Aliya to get the rest of the family. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out that she was behind all this in the first place. She’s been a thorn in my side for too long already.’
Dante shook his head, and he glanced towards his system tab once again to look at his stats and skills.

The system told Dante earlier that a single point was equivalent to 1% increase in any stat or skill that he put it in, and Dante couldn’t help but wonder just how much of a change he would experience when he finally ranked up!
