Chapter 10: Weed Collector

Chapter 10: Weed Collector

Garion entered the glowing gate and arrived inside the Treasure Realm. It was quite normal, as it was a huge forest.

"The system said that this was a Material Treasure Realm, so that means there are a lot of herbs, ores, and other precious resources."

Just then, a glowing screen appeared in front of him.

[Congratulations on entering your first Treasure Realm]

[Reward Unlocked: Storage Space]

Garion blinked, grinning, seeing the reward.

"Storage Space? Perfect. I don’t have to carry everything, and it will be easy to avoid the others’ eyes."

But there was a problem. Garion wasn’t that knowledgeable about which herbs were valuable in this world.

"Let’s grab everything that looks weird, colorful, or rare. In the worst case, I get useless weeds, but in the best case, I get something good."

So he started grabbing anything that looked interesting to him: blue leaves, glowing mushrooms, and flowers with flame-shaped petals.

One by one, Garion put them all into his new storage space.

But before long, the ground shook, making Garion quickly turn his head only to spot some massive beasts.

They looked like boars, but larger than what he remembered.

Its body was as tall as a horse with deadly curved tusks on their head.

Garion smirked, cracking his neck.

"Perfect. Let’s see just how much stronger I have become in this world."

The boar snorted and charged, aiming its tusks straight at him.

Garion sidestepped, grabbed a hold of one tusk, and twisted his body, using the beast’s momentum to slam it to the ground.

The boar squealed, but before it could react, Garion jumped on top of it and directly drove his elbow down its skull.

Bam. Bam. Bam

After the third strike, the boar’s head was bleeding, and it didn’t move.

Garion stood up, dusting his arms.

"That’s it? Just three hits and you’re done? Damn. I’m really stronger than I thought."

"Mana is a really perfect supplement, better than any other steroid."

But another boar quickly glared at him in anger. It pawed the ground, then charged at full speed faster than the last one.

Garion only grinned, standing his ground.

"Alright. Let’s test this properly. Hit me with your best shot."

The beast rammed into him. Garion blocked with both arms, sliding back a few steps.

His arms trembled slightly, but he held firm.

"Not bad. You’re quite strong, but if this is only your power, then... You’re toast!"

Garion bent his knees, hooked his arms under the boar’s tusks, and tried to lift the heavy boar.

His muscles bulged as he forced it. For a moment, it kicked wildly, squealing in shock.

Then Garion twisted and slammed it into the ground hard, followed by elbows to its head.

Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam.

This time, he used four hits before the boar’s legs stopped twitching.

Garion stood, stretching his back with a frown.

"Damn. You’re too heavy. My back is hurting just from lifting you. Guess I’m still not as crazy or as powerful as I thought."

He dropped to the ground, sitting cross-legged. He started his unique cultivation method, healing his spine.

After a few breaths, he exhaled with relief.

"Much Better."

He placed both boar corpses into his storage space and turned toward the deeper area.

"Alright, let’s continue. Let’s take everything inside this Treasure Realm."

---

A bit deeper in the forest, a rocky area could be found, and in the middle of this rocky area, there was a huge dark cave.

Inside, the sound of clashing steel and shouting could be heard.

There were dozens of cultivators who had previously gathered in this cave and fought each other to get the special materials.

The special materials here were called Titan Ores. Despite the grand name, it wasn’t world-shattering.

It didn’t grant infinite strength or summon titans. Its property was quite simple. The more mana you poured into it, the heavier it became.

Although they were quite simple, weapons forged with them could crush enemies with sheer force alone, making them valuable tools for creating heavy weapons.

And now, everyone in the cave wanted them and fought each other.

One man swung his swords around in wide arcs while shouting angrily.

"Back off! This Titan Ore belongs to my Steel Fang Sect!"

Another one snarled at him, wrapping his fist with mana.

"You? Don’t make me laugh! You weaklings can’t even lift it once it’s mined!"

Many cultivators punched, kicked, and slashed at one another, fighting tooth and nail for the precious ores.

Every time a fragment broke free, three or four hands quickly rushed for it, and someone usually ended up bleeding on the floor.

Meanwhile, Garion had just arrived there, pulled by the loud sound from inside the cave.

He entered the cave and saw multiple cultivations fighting each other. He slowly approached them and listened.

"Titan Ore is mine!"

"Drop it, weakling. You can’t even lift it!"

"Over my dead body!"

Garion’s ears perked up.

"Titan Ore? Heavy Ore?"

From those keywords, he quickly knew that the ores were called titan ores and were really heavy.

"Perfect. This stuff should make excellent dumbbells and barbells."

Truthfully, in all these months, Garion hadn’t actually made any proper gym equipment.

Everyone in the world told him that forging the equipment he wanted was too hard, too costly, and required special materials.

And now, he actually found one, and it’s quite perfect.

"If I can take them all, I’ll be able to make heavier weights than the ones in my old world. Just imagining lifting it already made me drool."

The system had also promised him a new function if he managed to get all the treasures here.

Maybe the second function can help him get or build one.

"Either way, I need every last piece of this ore. No scraps left for these fakers."

With that thought, Garion went straight to the middle of the fight.

He would show them the true strength of a real martial artist in this world.
