Chapter 875: Fernara & Valhalla Plane

Chapter 875: Fernara & Valhalla Plane

As the battlefield slowly stabilized, Maximus and the Overseers gradually shifted their focus from the fight.

Turning the tide of battle, from a surging charge to the slow erosion of the dark beast, the beings of the Planar Chaos Region seemed to be gaining the upper hand.

However, despite its appearance, they knew the dark beast’s invasion would only intensify.

Coupled with the Black Sigil and a streak of bad luck, Maximus and the Overseers couldn’t rest easy yet.

Returning to the Central Chaos Region, the Overseers began working to increase their plane origin recovery efficiency.

From finding individuals with special physiques and nurturing them, seeking treasures in the chaotic void, and creating artifacts to convert chaos into plane origin.

Meanwhile, Maximus took a long-overdue vacation with his family.

For Maximus, time with his family was never a waste of time; it was what he fought for.

He’d rather work intensely to finish quickly than let his duties encroach on his precious family time.

Starting with the Tatra Plane, they returned to enjoy the activities they’d missed before.

From playing, shopping, eating, and drinking, they had a blast for tens of thousands of years before moving on to their next destination.

Seeking to relax their bodies and minds, they visited the fabled Fernara Plane, the most beautiful natural paradise in the Planar Chaos Region.

Upon entering, they were not disappointed.

Like a paradise beyond imagination, the Fernara Plane left their minds in a daze.

Their senses, souls, and wills seemed to attune with nature itself.

Feeling more alive than ever, they were thrilled with their choice to visit after the Tatra Plane.

"How do you like my place? Is it to your liking?"

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the Archon of Nature, Feala, appeared beside them.

"It’s truly a paradise. No place is as beautiful or relaxing as this," Maximus praised.

Though their castle also boasted top-notch features, it lacked the natural essence that stirred the soul.

Unlike a paradise that could only be seen, the Fernara Plane touched their hearts.

"I’m glad my place is to your liking. You’re welcome to stay as long as you want," Feala said with a smile.

"Then we’ll gladly experience all the Fernara Plane has to offer," Maximus replied.

After brief formalities, Feala hurried off.

Though she wanted to join Maximus and his family for a walk, she had pressing tasks to attend to.

Intent on creating an artificial plant akin to chaos grass, one that could convert chaos into pure plane origin, Feala could spare no more time.

Blessed by Feala’s aura, Maximus and his family roamed freely, exploring every corner of the Fernara Plane.

Beyond its natural wonders, they also discovered the food was the best they’d ever tasted.

The fruits, vegetables, and meats were perfect in appearance, texture, shape, and taste.

Taking their time, they shut their minds to everything in the outside world, letting time pass in a blur.

---

A hundred thousand years later...

Maximus and his family finally considered leaving.

The Fernara Plane was truly a paradise, where they forgot all their worries and even the passage of time.

If not for the dark beast reminding them of the dangers ahead, they would have stayed for millions more years.

Feeling reluctant, they couldn’t help but gaze at the place, etching the paradise into their memories.

"Don’t worry, we’ve gathered most of the unique plants here. We can transplant them at home," Maximus said with a smile.

"Haha, that’s right. We can turn our home into an even more beautiful paradise!"

During their stay, they hadn’t forgotten to collect every plant, animal, mineral, and even types of rocks and soil.

Though it wouldn’t replicate the Fernara Plane’s environment exactly, Maximus could build upon it to create something even better.

Once he mastered all the archons of law, he could not just manipulate nature but also other elements.

Leaving the Fernara Plane, they set out for the Plane of Valhalla, also known as the Arena of Valhalla.

Plane of Valhalla

Arriving at their destination, they immediately felt the competitive pulse of the plane.

It wasn’t just about combat but also various events testing each individual’s skills.

From fighting, crafting, gambling, eating, drinking, music, building, gaming, to writing—everything imaginable, and even the unimaginable, was turned into a competition open to everyone.

Seeing this, some family members who weren’t keen on fighting couldn’t help but look around with anticipation.

Picking activities they excelled at, they eagerly dove into the competitions.

Though they were Overlords suppressing the newcomers, holding back a little, they still ensured a fun time.

They even picked up new tricks while competing, which was truly a delight.

Meanwhile, though Maximus had little interest in competing, he was fascinated by the various contests, planning to incorporate them into the Aeon Plane’s Dimensional Games.

Some competitions were truly innovative, opening his eyes to new possibilities.

These contests weren’t just for fun but also served as training and honing grounds.

Maximus deduced that mastering a competition’s essence could allow one to directly condense a path of absolute of law.

Thoroughly experiencing each type of competition, time began to slip by.

Meanwhile, as things proceeded smoothly, the Black Sigil could no longer sit idle.

Disregarding Lazarus’s orders to watch and hide, some members acted on their own.

Using their ability to blend into the chaotic void and dark energy, they began hunting the Overlords that wantonly killed the messiahs of chaos.

But before they could kill even one, they were shocked to find their seemingly invisible positions glowing like beacons.

Instead of killing, they were swiftly ambushed and sent to their deaths.

Unable to fathom how their locations were revealed, they could only wail in anguish as their final thoughts faded into the darkness.

Noticing the large-scale losses, Lazarus, who was in seclusion, sneered at their folly.

"I told you we’re still being watched. How could you throw yourselves to death?"

The Black Sigil’s main advantage lay in their concealment.

Once lost, aside from the Archons, no one could escape the might of the Central Chaos Region’s forces.

Turning toward the Omni, shrouded in dense chaos and dark energy, Lazarus’s frown deepened.

"What is this thing? How can it monitor such a vast space?"
