Uncle Wu and Aunt Wu walked into the room, both wearing masks that completely hid their faces. Aunt Wu approached Jiang Huaiyue first, raised her hand, and lightly touched her cheek.
“What a beautiful girl,” she said with a grin. “Why don’t we take her back and give her to Master Shen?”
Jiang Huaiyue’s heart sank. Just from those words, she instantly understood—these people were indeed working for Shen Wuxiao.
Uncle Wu laughed. “Mr. Shen would be pleased. But we’ll need to check if she’s clean. If not, she’s not worth keeping.”
As he spoke, he glanced at Shen Wuxiao and gave him a covert wink. Shen Wuxiao resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Come on… Say the lines properly!
Uncle Wu caught on and snapped his fingers in front of Shen Wuxiao. Immediately, Shen Wuxiao pretended to be released from the field’s time-freeze.
“What are you doing?! Who are you people?!” he shouted as he quickly stepped forward and shielded Jiang Huaiyue with his body.
“Boy, we saw you at the funeral earlier. What’s your reason for asking about our young master?” Uncle Wu demanded.
Shen Wuxiao feigned nervousness but managed to sound calm. “We were just there to pay respects. We don’t know anything about your young master.”
“Is that so?”Uncle Wu and Aunt Wu exchanged glances and grinned. “Well, even if you don’t know, we might as well take this pretty girl with us. Let’s not waste such a prize.”
As they moved toward Jiang Huaiyue, her heart pounded. She was overwhelmed—if they really took her, her life would be ruined.
At the critical moment, Shen Wuxiao blocked them again. “She’s my woman. What are you trying to do?!”
“Your woman?” Uncle Wu narrowed his eyes. “Has anything happened yet?”
“Of course she’s mine!” Shen Wuxiao declared and immediately pulled Jiang Huaiyue into his arms, as though protecting something precious.
Aunt Wu shook her head. “Master Shen wouldn’t like that. Maybe it’s better if we just kill both of you and be done with it.”
Shen Wuxiao’s face tightened. “I’m the young master of the Sikong family. If you hurt us, my family won’t let this go!”
The moment he said that, Uncle Wu and Aunt Wu paused, exchanging another look.
“The Sikong family?” they repeated.
They whispered something to each other and then turned back.
“Fine. Killing you now would be troublesome. Not worth the fallout.”
“But listen well—if you dare to snoop around Master Shen’s affairs again, don’t blame us for being merciless!”
Shen Wuxiao wrapped his arms around Jiang Huaiyue protectively. “It’s all just a misunderstanding. We didn’t mean any offense.”
The two nodded, smiling. “Alright, we’ll let this go for now. But to avoid any complications… we need some proof.”
Aunt Wu turned to Uncle Wu. “Old man, take the boy away.”
“I’ll handle the girl myself. Let’s put them in a room—together. That should shut their mouths for good.”
Jiang Huaiyue was on the verge of a breakdown. Her eyes widened in horror. This was going too far.
Uncle Wu grinned, then raised his hand and knocked Shen Wuxiao unconscious with one clean strike. He carried him into a bedroom and laid him on the bed.
Inside, Shen Wuxiao immediately opened his eyes, tossed aside his clothes, and curled up under the blanket.
Uncle Wu chuckled helplessly. “Young Master, if this is what you wanted all along, why make such a big scene?”
“You don’t understand anything. Get out,” Shen Wuxiao grumbled, shooting him a look.
Uncle Wu smiled and left the room.
A few moments later, Aunt Wu entered, carrying Jiang Huaiyue like a doll. She swiftly removed Jiang Huaiyue’s outer clothes and set her on the bed.
Jiang Huaiyue’s eyes welled with tears. She couldn’t speak or move. Aunt Wu might be a woman, but Shen Wuxiao certainly wasn’t.
Aunt Wu, now fully immersed in her act, pushed Shen Wuxiao—who was pretending to sleep—closer to Jiang Huaiyue, aligning their heads.
She took Shen Wuxiao’s hand and placed it firmly on Jiang Huaiyue’s waist, pressing their bodies together. Their lips touched. She even lifted Jiang Huaiyue’s hand and wrapped it around Shen Wuxiao’s back.
Satisfied with her work, Aunt Wu smiled proudly. “There, that’s perfect. And remember—none of this happened. You wouldn’t want this kind of thing showing up all over social media, would you?”
She giggled and walked out as if nothing had happened.
Left behind, Jiang Huaiyue could only lie there, helpless. After the door closed, Aunt Wu immediately deleted the video she had just taken.
What a joke, she thought. If this woman turns out to be the young lady one day, how could I keep something like that?
Outside, Uncle Wu looked at her and asked, “All done?”
“Mm-hmm.”
“Then let’s go. It’s their problem now.”
“I think we should come again. The young master is acting different this time. He’s not rushing. He’s trying a slow and steady approach. Otherwise, what’s the point of all this acting?”
“You’re right,” Uncle Wu agreed. “Next time we’ll come with another excuse. Keep setting them up. If this keeps up, that girl’s heart is bound to fall.”
With that, the two left the villa.
Inside, Jiang Huaiyue was overwhelmed. She was still immobilized by the field and completely unable to move. She felt ashamed, humiliated, and utterly helpless.
Her lips were still pressed against Shen Wuxiao’s. Her body—violated in such an intimate but bizarre way.
It looked just like the wedding night of a newlywed couple… just without the full experience. Just one step short.
She stared at his face, so close, so perfect. She wanted to blame him. But she couldn’t. Deep down, she knew—he was just a pawn in all this too.
As the realization set in, tears streamed down her cheeks. Her eyes turned red with emotion.
She had never even held a man’s hand before. Yet today, she had kissed Shen Wuxiao.
She tried to calm herself. Now was not the time to cry.
But one question haunted her—why hadn’t the field’s control ended yet? Under normal circumstances, no one would be frozen for this long.
She had no way of knowing it was Shen Wuxiao himself who had been controlling it all along.
Time ticked by.
Jiang Huaiyue remained motionless, but her heart was in chaos. Their lips had been pressed together for so long, and she was beginning to feel something strange. The atmosphere was thick, almost suffocating. Her gaze turned misty and emotional.
She stared quietly at Shen Wuxiao.
And the worst part was—the longer this went on, the more she found herself softening…
And it hurt.
Finally, the control on the field was lifted.
Jiang Huaiyue snapped out of the spell. She shoved Shen Wuxiao with all her strength.
He rolled to the other side of the bed, still pretending to be unconscious—completely unaware of what had just happened.
