"Hey, little bro, heheh!" The man pulled Su Xuan aside. Far from wanting to fight, he looked quite embarrassed.
With a grin, the man said, "Just look at me, blind as a bat. I didn’t realize you were such a VIP. My bad, my bad!"
Su Xuan asked, "You don’t blame me for tricking you?"

The man handed a business card to Su Xuan. "I want to be friends with you. We could hang out when you’re free. After all we’ve been through tonight, shouldn’t we be considered good friends?"
Su Xuan chuckled wryly. Could they really become friends like this?
He then called the man using the number on the business card and told him his name. The man quickly saved Su Xuan’s number and then said his goodbyes.
In reality, his intentions weren’t purely to befriend Su Xuan, but rather to expand his own network. He couldn’t always be under his wife’s thumb. The longer you were out in society, the more you understood the importance of connections. A man must have his own network of resources—the more, the better, and the stronger, the better. "Su Xuan, it’s been a while since we’ve had such heavy rain. Can we take a short walk in it?" Alice asked. She stood at the entrance of the Caranda flagship store, gazing at the pouring rain outside with a look of longing.
Before Su Xuan could answer, the store manager eagerly brought over an umbrella and handed it to him. Any store with decent service would have a few umbrellas on hand for customers in case of unexpected rain.

Su Xuan opened the umbrella and stepped into the rain with Alice.

Alice replied, "Actually, one thing was more than enough."
Su Xuan asked, "Which one?"
Alice said, "The night you took over my bed but didn’t touch me."
Su Xuan retorted, "Who said I didn’t do anything? Didn’t you have to buy the morning-after pill?"
Alice’s mouth formed an ’O’. "Ah?!"
Then, she saw a sly smile on the corner of Su Xuan’s mouth.
"You’re just trying to scare me, hmph!" Alice punched Su Xuan lightly with her small fist and then ran off into the rain.
"Su Xuan, come and get me!"
"Come on, chase me!"
"Catch me if you can!"
With arms spread wide, Alice twirled in the heavy rain, looking like a golden-haired angel. The smile on her face was so enchanting it made even the rain around her seem magical.
"Aren’t you a little old for this?" Su Xuan sighed in exasperation. "So childish."
Then, he dropped the umbrella and ran after Alice. He had to admit, running like this brought back happy memories from his youth.
He shouted playfully at her, "You demon! I knew at first glance you weren’t human!"
Giggling as she ran, Alice called back, "Then come and subdue me!"
Before long, Su Xuan caught up to her. With a single tug, he pulled Alice down into a puddle. She landed on her back in the rainwater, throwing her arms around his neck and pulling him down on top of her.
Alice pouted adorably. "You going to let me take advantage of you?"
Su Xuan looked into her sparkling eyes. "First, let’s talk about the money for the clothes we bought tonight."
Suddenly, Alice shot her head up and bit down hard on Su Xuan’s lip.
Then, while Su Xuan was rubbing his mouth, she scrambled to her feet and ran off.
"Su Xuan, it’s just a few articles of clothing!"
"Don’t worry, I won’t let you suffer a loss!"
Alice’s voice drifted through the rain.
Standing in the rain and rubbing his lip, Su Xuan muttered wryly, "Damn, that hurt."

On the ride home in a Didi, the driver kept nagging Su Xuan and Alice in the back seat.
"You two, don’t move around too much! My car is brand new, don’t get it wet! Right, right, just sit on the plastic bags and don’t move!"
Before Su Xuan and Alice got in the car, the driver saw that they were both soaked like drowned rats and had placed two plastic bags on the seats. His car was a low-end BMW 3 Series, costing less than 300,000.
Alice, completely drenched and shivering, joked with the driver, "My friend here is rich, so you should’ve just let him get your car wet. He could’ve compensated you with a BMW 5 Series!"
The driver said, "I don’t believe you. You look richer than he does!"

"Where’s my senior sister, Wang Xuehan?" Su Xuan glanced toward a room.
