The continent of India was affected by the Asura clan. Shiva, concerned about Parvati's swollen belly, sent her back to the Great Snow Mountain.
As the two were about to reach the Great Snow Mountain, they suddenly heard voices emanating from somewhere between heaven and earth!
The voices sounded pleasant and soothing. Shiva looked at Parvati, and Parvati looked back at Shiva. Both were puzzled, not knowing where the voices came from!
They exchanged glances. Parvati suddenly spoke, "Great One, I don't know where these voices come from, and I cannot even sense them. If we could obtain these voices, perhaps we could enlighten the entire Asura clan!"
Shiva nodded, then suddenly shook his head and said, "These voices can calm the mind and indeed counteract the Asura clan's bloodlust, but I doubt they are enough to enlighten them!"
Just as Shiva finished speaking, both he and Parvati felt the voices drawing nearer, yet they still couldn't perceive anything.
As they stood there in confusion, a voice suddenly rang out!
"Are you looking down on me?"
As soon as the words were spoken, an exceptionally beautiful woman appeared before Shiva and Parvati. At the same time, the presence that had filled heaven and earth vanished.
Upon seeing the woman, Shiva's face soured. "Who are you? How dare you call yourself 'this seat' in front of us!"
The newcomer responded with arrogance, snorting and saying, "I am the celestial musician, Miaoyin. What is wrong with calling myself 'this seat'?"
Hearing this, Shiva let out a cold laugh and immediately retorted, "I am Mahadeva Shiva, and this is my wife, Parvati. I am the God of Creation. How dare you call yourself 'this seat' before me!"
Miaoyin had not paid much attention at first. Upon hearing that Mahadeva was the God of Creation, she finally spoke, "So you are Mahadeva, the God of Creation. No wonder."
After speaking, Miaoyin then bowed to Shiva, saying, "Miaoyin pays her respects to Mahadeva!"
Mahadeva nodded with satisfaction and immediately asked, "Were those voices you just uttered?"
Miaoyin nodded gently, "Yes, they were indeed from me!"
Hearing this, Shiva rejoiced and looked at Parvati beside him.
"My dear, why don't we take her back and seek the help of those two, Brahma and Vishnu!"
Parvati glanced at the Great Snow Mountain not far away and immediately said, "We are not far from the Great Snow Mountain now. For the sake of our child, why don't you accompany her and I'll return alone!"
Shiva immediately shook his head, not considering it at all. "No, if that's the case, I'll escort you back first. It's not convenient otherwise."
Parvati did not stop Shiva and instead took Miaoyin with her back to the Great Snow Mountain.
Miaoyin did not object either and returned to the Great Snow Mountain with Shiva and Parvati.
As soon as Shiva settled Parvati on the Great Snow Mountain, he immediately took Miaoyin to find Vishnu and Brahma.
Upon meeting Vishnu and Brahma, Shiva introduced Miaoyin to them and explained that she could prevent the Asura clan from slaughtering.
Vishnu's eyes lit up at this. Just as he was about to discuss with Brahma how to bring Miaoyin into the Heavenly Palace, he saw Brahma staring blankly at Miaoyin.
Miaoyin seemed displeased by Brahma's gaze. Vishnu, seeing this, gently touched Brahma, who then snapped back to reality.
