Chapter 474: D174. The Fallen in the Name of God
Above the Sea of Spirit of the Innocent, an endless tempest surged across the waters, as if the roaring waves sought to shatter the vault of heaven itself.
The so-called Sea of Spirit is not a real ocean, but a subjective perception formed in the unconscious, constituting phenomena that can be observed, much like the Withering Dreamlands, which, although intangible, have a definite form.
At this moment, above the surface of this spiritual world’s sea, a vast Magic Array swiftly unfolded in response to the arrival of an uninvited guest.
As the Array expanded, the whole world seemed to hover between collapse and reconstruction, in a Summoning Ceremony that was meant to be voluntary but appeared unable to endure the descent of such an immense entity.
Space began to collapse, forming a colossal vortex at the sea’s center, like the Abyss itself, opening a portal to an unknown shore.
From the end of this swirling portal a pure white light streamed forth, and then from this Abyss-like vortex emerged a white feather wing so massive it made the vortex itself seem tiny.
The vast external consciousness began to Descend through the portal, squeezing into a space far too cramped for its presence.
The skies of the Spirit World brightened at this moment, as holy and brilliant golden Radiance cascaded into the Mortal World, with pristine white feathers floating through the air, calming the tumultuous sea, Listening to the inviolable Commandments and teachings.
Both Heroes’ pupils constricted slightly, looking up at the arrival of the giant wing and feeling the illusion that it was they who were looking up from below.
And in the almost filled gaps of the portal, one could vaguely make out the blurred silhouette connected to the base of the wings.
There were three other massive wings on Its body, two of which were equally unsullied white, exuding an inviolable Radiance, while the remaining one was almost completely tainted black.
Just witnessing Its existence sparked an impulse to worship. An indescribable majesty silenced the entire Sea of Spirit into submission.

And under the shelter of a wing[], one could clearly see a female figure,
She perceived something, slowly raised her head, her gaze spanning the immense distance, piercing directly through to this end of the portal. That gaze carried an indescribable emotion, as if seeing through everything.

‘Is it really her…’
‘The Wings of Commandments… have they begun…’
‘Then so be it…’
‘I am already, tired…’
‘The future will not change.’
Weary, she did not glance this way again, bowed her head, and closed her eyes, allowing the mighty waves within the Sea of Spirit to continue to spread.
Even though there was crucial information at the end of the portal, the Hero had no energy to spare attention to the slight scenes within those cracks.

“Unfold!”
At the moment when the portal opened and it was realized that it could not be stopped, the Hero resolutely pulled on one end of the thread of consciousness, unfolding the determination of Wind Moon Night and the Oath, not to kick her perverted other self offline, but sensing an impending Attack.
Although located in the Spirit World, this domain isn’t completely disconnected from the physical body and Magic Power, hence Armor related to mental defense capabilities remains effective.
In both reality and consciousness, Black Crystal-forged modest Battle Armor covered the upper body, clasping the elegant Collar around the slender neck.
But as the overwhelming wings spread out slowly, even clad in Equipment on par with Legendary status, the Hero could not feel any sense of security.
…This was not a power she could contend with.
The skies of the Spirit Sea were now filled with endless light feathers. The Hero could see that these feathers were not just simple light effects but actual threats, each imbued with exceptional Magic Power.
No matter which direction she looked, it was all feathers of light scattering everywhere, with no gaps for breaking through found up, down, left, or right.
“Hey! Freak, what do we do now, suddenly being targeted like this!?” She was too rushed to mock the overconfident Depraved Hero, speaking urgently.
Despite facing an existence far beyond her means, the Hero still maintained her composure.
“What can we do! His strength fills the entire Spirit Space, and I’ve been locked on, there’s no escape!”
Like the Hero, the Depraved Hero had grown accustomed to facing such desperate situations and spoke with a cold voice.
“We’ll just have to tough it out!”

Up and down were reversed at this moment, the pure white giant wings evaporated the ocean, blocked the skies, and seemingly slowly but swiftly crossed the space, pressing down toward the diminutive self.
Although still at a distance, it carried a sense of unavoidable dread.
“Just because you have more wings, you think you’re so great!”
The Depraved Hero lifted her Unyielding head high and glared at the wing that had taken over the sky.
Then, staring at the pitch-black feather wing, as an existence both similar and opposite in Nature, she seemed to realize something, raising her eyebrows slightly with a rebellious smirk forming at the corner of her mouth.
