San Tian Liang Jue

Chapter 1408 Say My Name (4)

Chapter 1 The Conversation

The conversation between the two lasted for about ten more minutes before it ended.

For Feng Bujue, he had probed enough information.

For Dr. Quinzel, she had enough basis to write a preliminary diagnosis for this man who called himself "Jack."

So, after a simple farewell, Dr. Quinzel took the lead in leaving the "interrogation room."

A few minutes later, the guard who had brought Jue-ge in earlier came in. He was still the same, without much nonsense. As soon as he came in, he opened Jue-ge's shackles and then grabbed his arm, wanting to take him back to the cell.

However, this time, Feng Bujue was not so cooperative...

"Sorry," Jue-ge said to the other party before making a move.

And this "sorry" was the last thing the guard heard before losing consciousness... The next second, he was easily knocked out by Feng Bujue with a chop to the neck.

This was, after all, a normal difficulty script, and the NPCs encountered at the beginning had no combat power at all. Even though Jue-ge had lost some equipment and skills, he was more than capable of dealing with an ordinary person with the physical qualities of a level 56 character.

Buzz—Buzz—

Feng Bujue had just started searching the guard's body when the alarm sounded inside the building.

Of course, this was also within Jue-ge's expectations.

On the way here, Feng Bujue had already memorized the location of every camera around, so he knew that there were no blind spots in the surveillance to exploit along the way—it was the same no matter where he acted.

In that case, he might as well act in the current room, because logically speaking, compared to the "cell" he had been in before... the "interrogation room" should be closer to the exit.

"As expected..." Feng Bujue muttered as he opened his handcuffs with the key he had found on the guard, "In a 'world without super villains,' the managers here are obviously not vigilant enough about 'prisoners.' In a normal Batman world, even when escorting prisoners inside the asylum, at least two guards would be sent..." At this point, he had opened the handcuffs very deftly and swiped the electronic key card from the guard, "But for the people here, it's impossible for a prisoner of my size to subdue a guard who is taller, stronger, and armed while wearing handcuffs..."

Jue-ge's mind was quick, and his movements were no less so. As he thought of this, he burst out of the door and ran quickly in the corridor.

"Hey! Stop!"

After only one turn, Feng Bujue encountered two guards blocking the way, and their lines were also the "classic nonsense" that often appeared in film and television works.

Seriously, in most chases, even if you have a gun in your hand and shout "Stop," people may not listen to you, let alone the guards in this asylum who are only equipped with batons and tasers (commonly known as electric guns, electroshock guns).

"Heh... they really take the bait easily..." Feng Bujue was relieved to see the guards.

Jue-ge was also very experienced in escaping—when you are in a closed environment and don't know where the exit is, you generally follow a rule... wherever the guards are blocking, you run there.

"I said! Stop!" One of the two guards blocking the way saw Jue-ge rushing straight towards him at the speed of a sprinter, and he panicked a little. While shouting loudly to embolden himself, he raised the taser in his hand.

But...

"Spare me the effort..." Feng Bujue even responded to the other party in a rather lazy tone while running quickly.

And in the process of saying these three words, he had completed... leaping upwards to the side, stepping horizontally on the wall of the corridor, contracting his body in mid-air to make a sideways spin, and the whole person passed over the heads of the two guards... this series of movements.

For Jue-ge himself, this level of positioning was very easy and leisurely.

But from the perspective of the two guards, the scene just now was like a large animal much faster than humans sweeping past their shoulders like a gust of wind...

When Feng Bujue passed them and gradually ran away, the two... one was still in the posture of raising his gun to aim, and the other's hand was still touching the baton on his waist, without even having time to pull out the baton...

In front of the players, the movements of these guards can be said to be truly "slow as stillness."

In this way, Feng Bujue ran wildly all the way, and all the guards who tried to stop him were like decorations in his eyes. They were either dodged by him with strange movements or knocked down by him at will. Weapons such as tasers and batons could not even touch him.

Five minutes later, Feng Bujue came to a barred iron gate. Taking this gate as the dividing point, the outside was the area of Arkham open to the public. Through the iron bars on the gate, Feng Bujue had already seen the larger space outside, as well as several security gates.

Needless to say, everyone can imagine that the defense here was the most strict... When Jue-ge turned to this section of the corridor, there were already more than a dozen guards waiting for him in front of the barred gate.

"The parkour game ends here, you bastard!" A person who looked like the head of the guards stood at the back of the crowd, with his back against the door, holding up a taser in his hand, and shouted at Feng Bujue, "Now! Put your hands up, or I'll shock you until you piss your pants!"

He seemed very confident, after all, there were more than a dozen people here, more than a dozen guns, and the corridor was so wide that it was difficult to miss.

"Hoo... there's really no way..." Feng Bujue looked at the scene in front of him, sighed, and imperceptibly stretched his hand into his pocket.

The guards thought he was preparing to give up when they saw his reaction, but in fact... Jue-ge was secretly activating the effect of [Bell's Everyday Knife].

This knife was of legendary quality and did not belong to the category of items that "cannot be restored below excellent level." With [Must Break Defense Blade] broken and [WJQ-308 Military Shovel] cleared, this knife, which was not used very often, had now become Jue-ge's main weapon.

And what he activated at this moment was the knife's [Effect 4: Keep up, Kevin~ (Summons a Kevin to fight for you)]

"What are you doing?" After a few seconds of stalemate, the head of the guards felt a little strange, and he immediately shouted at Jue-ge again, "Take your hands out of your pockets and put them over your head!"

"Heh..." Feng Bujue smiled, "I just... want to take 'this' out."

As he said that, he took out the door card he had searched from the guard earlier.

"Ha!" The head of the guards gave a dry laugh after seeing what was in the other party's hand, "Anyway, you won't be able to use it, now! Throw the card away, kneel on the ground, and put your hands on your head!"

"Throw it away?" Feng Bujue raised his head, looked at the card in his hand, and the smile on his face became even more intense, "Okay..."

No sooner said than done, but seeing Jue-ge raise his arm and flick his wrist, he threw the door card out like a hidden weapon.

Feng Bujue was very good at playing cards. He could use paper playing cards like darts, and of course, this harder door card was no problem.

In an instant, the door card flew through the entire corridor, passed through the wall of people composed of guards, and drilled out of the gap in the iron barred gate at the end of the corridor extremely accurately... Finally, it was steadily caught in the hands of another person.

Beep—

When Kevin on the other side of the fence swiped the door open with this card, the guards realized what was happening and turned their heads to look at him.

No one recognized the strong man in front of them...

No one knew where this guy came from, and why he appeared outside the door behind the guards...

Even more, no one understood... why this strong man was carrying a camera...

"Don't..." The head of the guards originally wanted to shout "Don't move," but he only uttered half a word before being knocked unconscious by a camera.

This was probably the only time in these people's lives that they had seen someone use a camera as a physical attack weapon to hit people... It's not that this thing's power was not good, it was simply because the lens was too expensive. Compared with bricks, which were both handy and cheap, it had no competitive advantage.

"Ah—"

After the shock, there was a commotion.

I don't know which guard shouted first, but at the moment he shouted, several people fired at the same time.

Accompanied by a burst of "zizzizi——" sounds, at least three taser darts hit Kevin and began to discharge electricity.

Although tasers are "non-lethal weapons," their effect is unmistakable. In fact, this is a more efficient and reliable weapon than most guns that can be used to kill people; even people who are highly focused and fully prepared will inevitably have their muscles contract when subjected to electrical impulses... that is, muscle spasms, and then lose the ability to resist.

But the next scene once again surprised the guards...

Kevin, who was hit by three tasers at the same time, was completely unmoved; not only was he not convulsing on the ground, but he also casually waved his arms to push away the electric darts and copper wires, and launched a physical attack on the other guards around him with the camera.

"Damn it! Is this guy a Frankenstein!"

"Catch him! Pin him down!"

Faced with this sudden disruptor, the guards fell into chaos. Since the tasers were ineffective, they could only rely on their numerical advantage and rushed towards Kevin without any rules.

And their reaction... was exactly what Jue-ge wanted.

The reason why Kevin knocked down the head of the guards without saying a word as soon as he appeared was because Jue-ge gave him this instruction through his mind (Kevin can accept instructions issued by the summoner mentally, and can also accept verbal instructions—see additional notes of [Bell's Everyday Knife]). Once the guards lost their commander, this situation would inevitably occur.

"Heh... Frankenstein is not as powerful as him..." Looking at the guards who were fighting with Kevin, Feng Bujue showed a bit of sympathy.

As a "special summon" of a "composite weapon," Kevin's strength was doubled by the "mechanics" and "summoning" specializations, and Jue-ge's two specializations... were both A-level; therefore... don't look at Kevin's appearance as just a burly human man carrying a camera, in fact, his combat power would definitely not be at a disadvantage even against "Bane."

"Well... let's say goodbye before leaving." After watching for a while at the other end of the corridor, Feng Bujue raised his head and turned his gaze to the nearest surveillance camera.

He slowly raised his hands, pointed the palms of his hands towards himself and crossed them, and then hooked his thumbs together, while straightening the rest of his fingers in the shape of wings.

While making this movement, he did not forget to show an evil smile to the camera.

This smile... was like a joke, and like an invitation. He didn't expect everyone to understand what he meant, he just needed one person to understand the meaning.

After doing this, Feng Bujue turned around and ran towards the guards who had been beaten to pieces by Kevin.

With him and Kevin joining forces, cleaning up these guys who had already collapsed was like an autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves; Jue-ge only relied on the most basic physical skills to crush them, and he didn't even use any fighting skills or zero-time difference calculations to solve the problem.

After dealing with this last small group of guards, the two swaggered out of the front door of Arkham Asylum's main building.

Arriving in the courtyard, Feng Bujue immediately breathed a sigh of relief, because when he got here, he could already see the terrain outside the wall, as well as the streets extending into the distance... that is, "determined the geographical location of the asylum."

Although in most orthodox works, the location of Arkham Asylum is "the deep suburbs of Gotham City," there are occasionally some more non-mainstream settings... such as "the asylum is built on an island."

If it was in the suburbs, Jue-ge only needed to get a car, or even walk, to get rid of the pursuit and blend into Gotham; but if it was on an island, things would become more complicated...

Indeed, Feng Bujue could rely on [Treading the Void] to run directly back to Gotham from the sea, or he could use [Moonwalk] to step through the air all the way back, but doing so... on the one hand, it would cause considerable physical exertion, on the other hand... it would also make the people in this world have a higher assessment of Jue-ge's "ability."

This was what Feng Bujue had been trying to avoid so far, otherwise he wouldn't have summoned Kevin in the corridor earlier. He could have directly used [Tempest Kick] to shatter all the guards and the barred gate... and he would have been able to get out just the same.

In terms of Jue-ge's current performance, the Gotham police and Batman would probably get the information afterwards that—a guy who calls himself Jack and is suspected of being mentally ill, relying on superhuman physical skills and a stronger, burly accomplice who is not even shocked by tasers, escaped from the asylum.

But if Feng Bujue chose "Tempest Kick," in this world without super villains, it might give people the impression that "this guy is going to destroy the world," then the situation afterwards... I'm afraid it would not be easy to control.

To put it more bluntly—Jue-ge didn't want to attract the Justice League.

Through his conversation with Dr. Quinzel, Feng Bujue had already learned some information about the heroes of this universe. Although there are no super villains here, and the number of superheroes is not as large as he knows in the DC universe, the "Justice League" still exists.

The "Justice League" of this universe is composed of heroes such as Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Green Arrow. I believe everyone has seen a problem—there are no Superman and Green Lantern.

In fact, it's not just them...

Including Superboy-Prime, Supergirl, Power Girl (Supergirl's alternate-timeline counterpart on Earth 2), Kryptonians involving or not involving concepts such as multi-universe crossing; and all the "Lanterns" of all colors, including Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, and Sinestro; and all heroes, anti-heroes, or aliens whose "potential blackening tendency" is relatively serious, or whose power level reaches the cosmic level, etc.... this kind of character does not exist in this universe; even if they exist, they have not yet appeared in the cognition of the people on this earth.

In summary, Feng Bujue analyzed... among the remaining heroes, besides a group of guys who are "neither high-ranking gods nor can easily kill him," the ones who might be able to help him are Wonder Woman, who is a "demigod," and Flash, who can use "Speed Force." The former has the "Lasso of Truth," which is one of the objects in this world that Feng Bujue is most unwilling to have physical contact with, with a higher priority than shit; and the latter, how should I put it... he has a conscience...

Thinking about it this way, Jue-ge naturally didn't want to provoke the Justice League; so, at least... at the beginning of this script, he would try to show less exaggerated abilities.

"You can't escape!"

A minute later, just as Feng Bujue was about to steal a car parked in the courtyard with Kevin, the shout of the head of the guards suddenly sounded from behind them again.

This brother was really working hard. After being smashed in the head by Kevin, bleeding and falling to the ground, he got up again after a few minutes and staggered to the courtyard to demonstrate to the fugitives while leaning against the door frame of the main building.

"The police are already on their way! The roads will be blocked immediately, and you will be rearrested or shot within an hour!"

These words were not just empty talk. Judging from the walkie-talkie in his hand that was still flashing, he had already communicated with the personnel in the monitoring room on the way he ran to the courtyard, and he said this with certainty.

"Hmm... is that so..." Feng Bujue immediately stopped what he was doing after hearing this, and muttered, "What you said makes sense..."

"Eh?" The head of the guards was also stunned when he saw this, and thought to himself, "What's going on? Does he think the situation is unfavorable and decide to surrender?"

On the other side, Feng Bujue was also thinking silently: "If I just drive out like this, the probability of being intercepted before entering the city is very high, and it is easy to fall into the police's encirclement... The police are much more difficult to deal with than the guards. Facing live ammunition, with bare hands like just now, and without using obvious superpowers... I'm afraid I won't be able to get through it."

Thinking of this, Jue-ge came up with another plan.
