Chapter 324: Chapter 326: The Little Maniac Really Is a Catastrophe

George Stanford was so candid that it was hard to find fault with him.

Though his words were not pleasant to hear, they were all reasonable.

Sophie Sullivan only found out later that her surgery had taken several hours.

She also knew that George Stanford had done his best to repair her face...

"Fine, Old Mr. Standford, I’ll listen to you," Sophie Sullivan conceded, deciding to be more careful.

Moreover, Thomas Shannon would be back eventually. She just had to be more cautious during his absence, and everything should work out.

As she reassured herself, Sophie Sullivan’s dejected expression was a glaring sight, stinging Thomas Shannon’s eyes.

"Alright, there is another way for you to come with me," Thomas Shannon said lightly.

His steady and magnetic voice was like heavenly music to Sophie Sullivan’s ears!

She suddenly looked up, hope replacing despair in her eyes. "Thomas Shannon, is there any other way?"

"Take the high-speed rail."

Sophie Sullivan excitedly turned to George Stanford. "Old Mr. Standford, you can’t complain about that, right?"

Of course, George Stanford had nothing to say; he wouldn’t object to something that wasn’t dangerous.

After all, he was the one who had personally performed her surgery. Her situation was indeed complex, so George Stanford meticulously reminded her of all the precautions.

Sophie Sullivan nodded earnestly, committing everything to memory. When it came to her face, she wouldn’t dare be careless.

Leaving the medical office, Thomas Shannon didn’t hurry away but took her back to the castle.

She was led to the Restaurant for breakfast, while he called Charlie River and went to his study room.

Charlie River closed the study door, his face showing confusion and incomprehension. "Young Master, are we really not going to Country J?"

They had made detailed plans to go to Country J and capture George Field’s son alive, in retaliation for the previous sneak attack.

Unexpectedly, a few words from the maniac had changed the Young Master’s mind!

So now, they wouldn’t go to Country J, but instead bring someone back to Country S, to another city.

Such a time-consuming affair was hardly something the astute Young Master Shannon would do.

What surprised Charlie River even more was that their Young Master actually went through with something like this!

Changing his mind and plans at the last minute, completely overturning the original plan and starting all over again.

Charlie River truly didn’t know whether to say their Young Master had lost his way or that the maniac was genuinely a femme fatale!

"Didn’t you hear what George Stanford said? The maniac can’t take an airplane now," Thomas Shannon said, supporting his forehead with one hand while rapidly writing something on a sheet of paper with a pen in the other.

On the clean white paper, his handwriting was vigorous and powerful, the ink seeming to penetrate the page.

He frowned slightly, pondered for a moment, then handed the A4 paper, now filled with writing, to Charlie River. "Implement this plan first."

Charlie River looked down and read it. Raising his head, he said, "Young Master, this will significantly increase the difficulty of implementation. Country J is George Field’s territory. It won’t be an easy task to abduct his son there."

The previous plan was to capture George Field’s son alive, achieve a swift resolution, and deal with him immediately. This would save a considerable amount of time, leaving ample opportunity for retreat.

Now, capturing someone from Country J and bringing them back to Country S would undoubtedly make things much more difficult.

The success rate would also be significantly reduced.

As a rational observer, Charlie River still recommended implementing the original plan.

"Of course, I know this isn’t an easy task. It’s difficult, but are you saying my people can’t handle it?"
