Chapter 96: Sir Broken [2]
All over the internet, videos of Broken Heaven singlehandedly slaughtering the members of the ChaosKnight Guild went viral.
The video caused quite a shockwave, and in every café or on the streets, everyone was talking about it.
Even non-gamers found themselves glued to their screens, unable to take their eyes off it—watching all of his actions on loop!
"Notice he didn’t make any unnecessary movements? Bro just stood in one spot casually killing off 50-plus players!"
"Dang, I’m definitely playing this game because of Sir Broken!"
Meanwhile, within a high school classroom, a group of girls were huddled around a single tablet screen, squealing at every frame of the viral Broken Heaven video. Their eyes sparkled with obsession.
"So handsome!" one girl sighed, practically melting in her seat.
"I’m going to marry him. I don’t care if he’s an NPC or a real player!" another declared dramatically, clutching her chest.
At that moment, the classroom door opened, and their teacher walked in.
"What are you girls screaming about now—"
"MISS! We found the love of our lives!" they chorused.
The teacher paused, glanced at the screen, and her cheeks turned red like a ripe apple.
In a very soft and low voice, she whispered while adjusting her glasses, "...He is kinda fine though. Where does he stay?"
The video went global, and when players from other servers came across it, they gasped in shock and amazement.
"Dang, all the NPCs in our server are so boring—they only know how to extort us! I want to relocate!"
"Our only hope is to meet him during a cross-server event."
On the official forums, things were even more heated.

> HE JUST SOLO’D AN ENTIRE GUILD WTF.
ChaosKnight is DONE. ICEQUEEN IS DEAD-DEAD.
NPC??? DEVELOPER??? FINAL BOSS???
SOMEONE EXPLAIN!
Endgame0522: At this point, I’m convinced he’s not an NPC. That’s a dev on a stress break!
IIHOSSIl: He wiped 50+ players in under 3 minutes. I counted. Dark Flame Orb spams. This man invented PvE PTSD.
Sarugamil: The way he stomped her head to pulp! This game is not for the faint-hearted.
JDragonblade: NGL I foresaw this happening... Such a nice idea to attack someone with ’Broken’ in his name. SMH.
KamiNyx: LMAOOO ChaosCleric tried to log out mid-fight.
Chriscole: Sir Broken is the final boss of this version! No more doubt about it!
Haifruri: Nah fr, if he opens a guild or faction I’m definitely joining!
J_F_2440: Petition to nerf NPCs—this is harassment!

Meanwhile, elsewhere in a million-dollar mansion, a cold beauty abruptly woke up, pulling her gaming helmet to the side.
"That bastard!" IceQueen spat, her face twisting in anger.
"Mistress, are you okay?" her butler asked with a concerned look.
"Send a message to Seth. Tell him I need more members in my guild," she ordered in a cold tone. "Money isn’t a problem. And this time, get me actual professional players!"
"Yes, Mistress. I’ll do just that," the butler nodded and rushed out to carry out the request.
"That bastard... Even if I deplete all my funds, I’ll make sure I smite you!"
"You need to calm down, sister." Just then, a familiar voice echoed behind her. She turned around, finding her elder brother Jayden.
"Brother," she mumbled.
"He’s just an NPC, an in-game character. Just enjoy it," the tall, handsome youth with striking black hair and eyes said as he walked inside.
"He’s more than that, brother!" she grumbled. "If I don’t get rid of him, this game won’t be fun or enjoyable for me."
Jayden sighed.
With puppy eyes, IceQueen stared at her brother and whispered, "Can yo—"
Jayden interrupted sharply, "No. I promised myself I wouldn’t touch any game ever again."
With that, he walked out, leaving IceQueen to clench her fists.
She watched her brother’s disappearing back with a determined flame in her eyes. "I just need to convince him to play the game. Then he would help me kill that bastard."

Inside the game, the silence that followed the announcement was broken by the soft crunch of Gabriel finishing his biscuit.
It was at that moment that most of them snapped out of their trance-like state and began to digest what had happened.
They looked too shocked to even speak coherent words.
"Uh... Mister Broken, sir? I-I completed my quest. Do you... want to see it?" a hesitant voice asked.
"Of course. Bring it over," Gabriel nodded nonchalantly, gesturing for the player to step forward.
Meanwhile, Anna shouted, "You all can return to whatever you were doing!"
As she said this, the players who had received quests began to leave one after the other. Meanwhile, a few who had completed theirs came back to submit.
Gabriel had purchased all the available maps from the merchant here in Red Fang City. As for treasures and skills, he didn’t lack those.
From the corpses they brought, Gabriel was able to extract mediocre skills and treasures that weren’t useful to him or worth much.
Besides giving out quests, Gabriel had leveled up once again—reaching Level 33, something that could have taken him days to achieve.
Although his EP points were running low, he freely gave out these treasures, earning him several nicknames like "Loot God," "Sir Carry," and "Broken Rich."
Of course, all of this was carefully calculated. One might argue he was being stupid, giving away treasures like that, but little did they know he was playing the long-term game here.
Gabriel wasn’t building a party—he was building loyalty.
And nothing made players more loyal than free, high-tier loot.
"Sir Broken gave me a Rare-tier sword just for killing two boars! I will serve him until the day I die!"
"Bro, he gave me a flame scroll, and I didn’t even know how to use magic!"
"Forget guilds. I go where Sir Broken goes."
Within just two hours, an entire player movement began to take root.
Some time later, after assuring the players that he would return once more, Gabriel and Anna left.
Just as they did, a certain trio showed up.
"Where is he?" the first person asked with a frown.
