And regarding the Trinity, there was a more ominous legend, one that Ji Xiang, having studied the Bible thoroughly, naturally knew.
The Holy Spirit would descend fifty days after the Son's resurrection.
Did this descent fifty days later imply that Christ could choose a missionary as a vessel for his arrival here?
However, there was also the Heavenly Heart here... perhaps there was no need to worry too much.
Returning to the past.
Even tracing back to the first time he used a divine miracle, including the arrogant words he spoke when ascending to immortality.
If he were playing the role of the "Son" in the Trinity, then Christ, knowing what he was currently doing and all that he would do in the future, wasn't unwilling to intervene, but rather deliberately chose not to.
These were matters he was indifferent to from the start.
Because whoever touched his power,
Would eventually become him.
While others' avatars, manifest bodies, or traces were actively left behind, Christ was a passive recipient. Once his power was accepted, it could not be easily discarded. All things in the world, once touched by his dharma and too deeply connected to him, upon reaching profound heights, would become him, and the concepts of avatars, manifest bodies, or traces would cease to exist.
This was Christ, who was one,
And also all.
Therefore, he only felt regret that he did not join him.
And so, he finally said that he would eventually return to the Lord's divine kingdom.
That was the meaning of it!
"I almost suffered a great loss; it was my carelessness. The methods of Heavenly Heart powerhouses are mysterious and far exceed common sense. After all, how could one person suddenly become another? Although I had considered tactics like soul possession, my imagination was still lacking for this particular matter."
Ji Xiang turned and explained the events of that instant to the Donghua Fairy. Upon hearing Ji Xiang's description, the Donghua Fairy reacted like a provoked beast, her pupils vibrating violently as she spoke in a chilling tone:
"This is evil sorcery!"
This was not the art of a monster, nor the technique of the demonic path, nor a trick of soul possession or turning people into avatars. It was a truly sinister art that completely replaced a person's existence. From then on, that person was him, and he was that person, with the replaced individual's self and all traces of their existence in the world completely gone.
"You should use his spells less in the future. This is even more so than the Buddhist concept of 'voluntary salvation'..."
The Donghua Fairy was momentarily unable to find the precise words to describe it.
"It is 'assimilation'."
Ji Xiang spoke, and the Donghua Fairy quickly nodded, indicating that his wording was accurate and precisely captured the meaning.
Then, she rubbed her temples, repeating "evil sorcery" three times.
Ji Xiang remained silent.
Frankly, even with his current resolve to use his spells less, when truly facing enemies at the Heavenly Heart level, he would inevitably have to resort to these polluting Christian dharma practices. After all, he had personally experienced the power of divine miracles. Compared to other high-level great divine abilities, the entry barrier for divine miracles was terrifyingly low, while their effects were astonishingly high.
With such powerful divine abilities,
Christ did not fear people not believing in him.
The world always pursued desires, whether it was money, health, wealth, power, spells, love, lust, or even extreme good and extreme evil, all were forms of desire. There were things people wanted to achieve, but the path to power was difficult to cultivate, and the path of weakness offered no benefit to their growth...
At such times, Christ opened his doors to them.
All they had to do was believe in him.
And they would receive everything they had never received in the past or present, and all of it would be realized in the future.
"However, despite the twists and turns, the demonization of St. Paul's Academy can be considered preliminarily complete."
After the danger came the harvest, but as Ji Xiang looked at the demonized angels, he also harbored some concerns.
These angels were ultimately creations shaped by a Heavenly Heart realm powerhouse. Even though they were demonized, the methods of the Heavenly Heart could not be judged by ordinary standards. It was possible for these angels to return to Christ's fold and betray him at any moment.
His demonic king power was insufficient to contend with the Heavenly Heart; he needed to continue spreading his teachings, and he himself had to preach, even establish his own sect!
To become the "Demon Ancestor"!
Only will could counter will. Christ had come with the collective will of the entire other world. Without a corresponding vast will, there was no way to oppose him.
The abilities he had obtained previously—being immune to curses, poisons, mental corruption, soul possession, and even the blessings of national prestige and destiny—were all useless this time because the opponent had done nothing.
The Five Sacred Mountains Divine Sword was not yet forged, and he lacked a suitable weapon. Having to establish a sect now made Ji Xiang feel that despite having the strength to sweep through those below the Heavenly Heart realm after becoming a demon king, he was still so powerless when facing the Heavenly Heart.
The sun rose as usual.
But the people here had already begun to recite the praises from the True Undivided Scripture, and in their chanting of sacred hymns, sentences that had never appeared in past Bibles or hymns began to emerge. The few demonized apostles started adding new content to the four Gospels of Christianity.
From this day forward, any missionaries arriving from the port would find that the Bibles and Four Gospels they studied, along with all other Christian scriptures, were entirely new versions they had never encountered before.
Christianity demanded that people strictly control their desires, to achieve "temperance of desires," to be masters of their desires, and ideally, to become people without desires.
Now, desire dominated them, yet they considered themselves "messengers of desire," facing their desires squarely and using them correctly.
A newly arrived missionary discovered that the stories in the Bible had changed.
In the Bible, when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden, Christ unilaterally rebuked them. He asked Adam, who said Eve told him to eat it. He asked Eve, who shifted the blame to the serpent. Then God imposed different curses on Adam, Eve, and the serpent. However, in this new version, Adam ate the fruit first.
Then, God did not appear.
The Demon appeared.
The Demon asked the three why they ate the fruit. Unlike before, they did not shift blame. Instead, each expressed their thoughts. The Demon then said, "You obeyed your desires and ate the fruit of knowledge. After eating it, you gained wisdom and learned how to think. Now you are to be punished by me. Do you regret it?"
Eve regretted it, but Adam did not. The serpent pleaded with the Demon for forgiveness.
The Demon then said, "God will no longer appear before you. I am God, and God is me. God is Demon, and Demon is God. God told you not to pick the fruit; this was to test your courage. Now, through your courage, you have gained wisdom and the ability to think for yourselves. Although you disobeyed the warning, you have gained fearless courage and the ability to discern good from evil. This is a good thing. From now on, you shall be the kings of the people on earth. Use your desires to carve out your kingdoms."
And so, the three left the place and never returned.
A new edition of the Demonic Scripture was printed. The newly arrived missionaries reacted intensely, deeming it blasphemy and a provocation to the original doctrine. However, among the shallow believers throughout the Central Plains, this Demonic Scripture sold better than the original Bible.
Some even argued that in the original Bible, God was like a lunatic, sometimes kind to these people and sometimes cruel. If God were truly benevolent, why would he forbid humanity's ancestors from gaining wisdom?
The missionaries who supported the original text were left speechless. And the longer they stayed at St. Paul's Academy, the more demonic thoughts began to sprout in their hearts, and they gradually abandoned their original scriptures.
Meanwhile, a Portuguese fleet from the region of Luzon was rapidly advancing towards the South China Sea.
