Chapter 226 – Treasure- Scam! And Passion Fox’s ‘Passion’
Aiko was chatting with the strange lady.
She asked many questions about her name and everything around it.
"So, what is your real name?" The strange lady asked. She didn't like that bad nickname for something so cute and 'innocent'.
"Aiko!" Aiko told her her name since she started to like this strange lady.
The strange lady smiled and gently petted Aiko. "That is a good name." She praised Aiko's name.
Aiko tilted her head. "But why aren't you giving me your name?"
"Once you get into the Immortal World, your name picks up a lot of power." The strange lady frowned.
"I know when others talk about me behind my back and things like that." The strange lady sighed.
"So once you get into the Immortal World, don't share your name readily, otherwise you won't be able to sleep peacefully." The strange lady warned Aiko.
Aiko nodded gently. "So, what is your name?"
She laughed, pinching Aiko's cheek. "You little rascal, you will have to earn it!"
Aiko pouted, even her sudden question didn't yield any result and she would surely not ask about her name as a reward! Treasures rule!
The strange lady sighed. "I can't stay here for too long, I really like you, so you have passed my test." She smiled gently.
Aiko blinked a few times. "That's it?" Her mind spun and she couldn't understand how this was a test.
"You can thank your smart lips for that one~" The strange lady hummed, gently caressing Aiko's hair.
She really wanted to caress her ears too, but some Foxes were quite guarded when it came to that, so maybe next time...
"And the Treasure?" Aiko's ears perked. She did not forget about that.
"Here." The strange lady tapped Aiko's forehead and Aiko fell asleep.
The strange lady watched over the sleeping Aiko who was going through the information.
"How much you gain will depend on your insight." The strange lady sipped her tea and suddenly noticed a strange shadow in the corner of her eye.
"Who is there?" The strange lady's voice boomed, like crashing waves upon a mountain.
"That won't affect us!"
"You are still too young."
Two voices resonated from the Darkness, and the strange lady was shocked.
"What are you doing here?" She asked them with a guarded expression.
"We don't care about your abode." Said the male Darkness voice. "We are only watching over them."
The strange lady pursed her lips, it was unlikely that the Darkness would watch over someone unless...
"T-the princess?" The strange lady visibly shook. Not her ethereal body that was in the Mortal World, but her real body.
"It's possible." The Darkness didn't deny it and she gulped.
"T-then-" The strange lady felt as if her vitality was rushing out of her body from the realization.
"There will be no retaliation from us, as she was not hurt." If someone hurt the little Fox's Soul, all of them would wage a war that would destroy countless worlds.
The strange lady relaxed a bit.
"But what about her parents...?" The strange lady feared Aiko's possible parents the most.
"She likes you, as long as she keeps liking you, they won't move." The Darkness shrugged before disappearing.
"How incredibly-..." The strange lady was exhausted from this encounter. "To think I would be able to meet the forgotten race..." She smiled from ear to ear. "What an honour."
She was happy that she hit it off well with this little one. If she didn't... well...
She shook her head. "She said she liked this place. While this place won't last all that long, I could compile a few techniques for her, so she can understand how to create such a place for herself." The strange lady would naturally suck up to Aiko as she didn't want to get erased for sharing that Sexual Cultivation Technique, with the possibly overprotected princess.
Her body was slowly melting into nothingness and she frowned. "I should've told her my name, at least she would be able to call me..." She now regretted her choice, but there was nothing she could do.
It was unwise to write it on paper, since the owner of this world would know about her being here.

Aiko woke up groggily and frowned.
