Wen Li took a deep breath, and a scarlet aura condensed into a massive blood-colored blade in front of him. The enormous blade slashed fiercely toward the black-robed figure.
Under the amplification of the psychic world, this strike could cleave mountains and part seas. Yet, the moment the blade was unleashed, it vanished without a trace.
Then, Wen Li sensed cold fingers pressing against his chest—it was the black-robed figure’s hand!
But it wasn’t the black-robed figure who had appeared before him; rather, Wen Li had somehow been displaced to stand in front of the figure. In the next instant, his head and limbs were sent flying!
His severed limbs turned to ash mid-air. Just as his head was about to disintegrate, a gray-black force emerged from his forehead, enveloping it. The gray head then shot outward at high speed.
Wen Li’s expression was one of sheer terror. If he still had a heart, it would have been pounding at eight hundred beats per second.
He had only seen three fleeting images: first, his attack being released; second, making contact with the black-robed figure; and third, his body falling apart!
It wasn’t a matter of speed but an overwhelming sense of powerlessness. No matter how much stronger—ten or a hundred times—Wen Li became, he could not resist that bizarre attack.
Who was this person? How could such a terrifying powerhouse reside within Wen Wen’s body?
The fear that gripped Wen Li in that moment was no less intense than what he felt toward Yogma, perhaps even greater.
Thinking was useless now. The priority was to escape from Wen Wen’s body, or he would surely die!
The black-robed figure did not pursue but instead gazed with interest at a wisp of gray-black energy in their hand.
“You didn’t finish him off. He’s still alive,” Wen Wen remarked from the side, instigating. The gray-black energy around Wen Li was likely impenetrable for him, so he had to rely on the black-robed figure.
“This is… Yogma’s power,” the black-robed figure said.
“Who’s Yogma?” Wen Wen asked. He had heard the name from Xue Jiu Yi, knowing it was a celestial god, but that was the extent of his knowledge.
The black-robed figure shook their head. “An old acquaintance, you could say. They personally placed a soul defense on Wen Li. They’re an expert in this field…”
Wen Wen’s mouth twitched. “So, you’re saying they’re stronger than you?”
The black-robed figure shook their head again. “I could break it by force, but there’s no need.”
“That guy Yogma is quite arrogant. He wouldn’t grant someone too many gifts. Just go out and finish him off.”
Without wasting time, Wen Wen chased after Wen Li.
As he exited the Black Stone Palace, its lights dimmed. Then, a voice echoed in Wen Wen’s mind: “After killing Wen Li, don’t damage his body too much. It’s suitable to become your avatar.”
Wen Wen’s eyes lit up. The black-robed figure had mentioned avatars before, but Wen Wen had been clueless about it. Unexpectedly, Wen Li’s body was the perfect material for one.

Along the southeastern coast of the Golden Eagle Region lies a stretch of golden shoreline. A woman of flawless figure and beauty, wearing a swimsuit, lounged on a wicker chair under the sun, a golden crescent adorning her head.
With such stunning beauty and attire, she would cause a stir anywhere. Yet, none of the beachgoers noticed her, except for a few girls under eight years old who occasionally glimpsed this beautiful “big sister.”
This woman was the Moon Goddess.
Beside her was a dark-skinned, long-eared woman, Iyeta, who had summoned the Moon Goddess. One hand fanned the goddess, while the other applied sunscreen.
After meeting Wen Wen, the Moon Goddess had helped Iyeta’s “Will of Nature” resolve a few “minor” issues.
Since then, she had taken Iyeta on a journey of travel, shopping, and savoring delicacies. She was intrigued by all the entertainment this world offered women.
Compared to the Inner World, this world was insignificant in size. The Inner World’s landscapes and pleasures were beyond the imagination of Earth’s inhabitants.
Yet, the Moon Goddess found some aspects of the Inner World too raw, too extreme. For instance, to feel joy there, one could eat a “happy melon,” and a single bite would bring a day of bliss…
She had also secretly visited advanced technological civilizations beyond the Inner World. Though their technology was astonishingly advanced, they were cold and lacked humanity, far less comfortable than this world.
But perhaps that was because she hadn’t been here long. If she stayed for decades or centuries, this world might grow dull too.
As she relaxed, the Moon Goddess suddenly opened her eyes, her gold-silver pupils flashing with surprise.
The crescent she had given Wen Wen had sent back a message!
That crescent wasn’t meant for communication or surveillance. Only the silver crescent held some autonomy, typically relaying information only after expending its single-use power.
But this time, it had independently sent back a message, indicating it had stumbled upon something that *had* to be reported, no matter what.
Such a situation shouldn’t exist—not even if Wen Wen died!
The crescent transmitted an image: a black-robed figure seated, revealing only their chin.
Upon seeing it, the Moon Goddess involuntarily shed tears.
Iyeta, applying sunscreen, trembled in fear, wondering if she had been too rough.
“I know him. I know him. He’s important to me! So important!” the Moon Goddess said.
“But… who is he?”
This wasn’t a vague sense of familiarity. She genuinely felt a connection to this mysterious man.
Memories surfaced of moments spent with him, a warmth she had never experienced in her life.
Yet, why couldn’t she recall his name?
Why couldn’t she remember how they met or why they parted?
This strange sensation threatened to unravel the energy that formed her body.
Unfortunately, she was only an avatar here, unable to relay the message immediately. She would have to wait until her consciousness returned to her true body to pass it on.
She knew that if her true self saw this image, it would come to this world at all costs.
An invisible pressure forced everyone on the beach to collapse, unable to rise.
But it lasted only two seconds before dissipating. The Moon Goddess, her expression calming, lost most of those memories, retaining only a few vivid images.
She stood, gazing toward Wen Wen’s location. She needed to return to the Huafu Region immediately and find Wen Wen.
She had to get answers.
