Wen Wen brazenly weaved through the crowd in his disguise, his small eyes scanning everywhere.
This anime convention, filled entirely with demon hunters, was far more thrilling than the personal cosplay exhibitions hosted by Tao Hu’s two daughters.
Wen Wen had long grown tired of beautiful women, no matter how stunning they were.
However, the convention had no rules against cross-dressing, so they couldn't say anything.
Wen Wen recognized the voice instantly, a disgusting sound he knew belonged to one person.
It was Chu Wei!
The Chu Wei who possessed an immortal body, with the Blood Emperor Vlad slumbering within!
“What is this guy doing here? Never mind, I’ll go look at the pretty girls instead. Don’t get involved with him.” Wen Wen shook his head and changed direction.
Although Chu Wei was powerful, his passive ability, ‘Ah Wei is Dead,’ would first kill Chu Wei himself when danger was near.
While Chu Wei wouldn't truly die, seeing bloodshed at such a festive convention would be rather unpleasant.
Mingling amongst the female demon hunters, Chu Wei was beaming with joy.
He remembered a time when he was almost the number one fan of Bi Luo Chun Juan, simply because he adored her voice.
The female demon hunters here were all elaborately dressed for the convention. Not only were their voices sweet, but their looks were also striking, making Chu Wei thoroughly enjoy himself.
He soon struck up a conversation with a female demon hunter who seemed interested in him, and they walked towards the edge of the convention grounds together.
Meanwhile, Wen Wen encountered another interesting character – a ninja standing on a lamppost.
This ninja had his head wrapped in a bandana and his face masked, leaving only his not-so-large eyes exposed.
Those eyes alone gave Wen Wen a sense of familiarity. Few demon hunters had such small eyes.
Furthermore, the ninja's gaze, like Wen Wen's, suggested similar preferences.
The ninja also spotted Wen Wen immediately. He formed a complex hand seal with rapid movements, then vanished in a puff of black smoke, reappearing before Wen Wen and asking boastfully:
“Hey, buddy, how was my ninja technique just now?”
Wen Wen: “…Very good.”
This was the honest truth from Wen Wen. Although the ninja’s hand seals were meaningless, he was truly a talented super-powered individual.
For one, Wen Wen couldn't figure out how he had just teleported.
However, super-powered abilities were diverse, and Wen Wen didn't intend to understand everyone's powers.
The two regarded each other like a frog looking at a green bean, and after only a few exchanged words, they felt like kindred spirits. The ninja's taste and conversation style were perfectly to Wen Wen's liking.
While there were definite differences, their personalities were a great match.
If this ninja had been a woman, it might have been a case of love at first sight.
Subsequently, they roamed the convention together, searching for female demon hunters worth admiring. Wen Wen went from being alone to being a scoundrel with this ninja.
Suddenly, both their expressions changed simultaneously, as if they had sensed something amiss.
However, the ninja's expression was hidden by his mask, so Wen Wen couldn't see it. Wen Wen's expression, on the other hand, was noticed by the ninja.
“I have some matters to attend to. I’m leaving!” Wen Wen said and departed immediately.
The ninja, however, gave Wen Wen a meaningful look. That aura was not something any super-powered individual could sense.
He opened his hunting terminal: “This is Kyōgoku Kūra. Something is about to happen at the convention. Notify everyone present to be prepared. Keep the commotion down; that thing might be difficult to deal with.”
After ending the call, Kyōgoku licked his lips, his eyes glinting with excitement.
Like Wen Wen, he also enjoyed fighting opponents of equal strength!
…
“Flesh, there’s a lot of flesh here…”
Kō Qíng stroked the bony protrusion on his chin, his gaze fixed covetously on the convention. Everyone here was brimming with vitality.
Kō Qíng was now somewhat grateful to En Suk. If it weren't for the mission En Suk had given him, he wouldn't have found so many super-powered individuals gathered in one place.
En Suk's intelligence indicated that the person who had angered the gods was also here, so he would send them all to hell together with these strangely dressed super-powered individuals.
For Kō Qíng, encountering such a large, unsuspecting group of super-powered individuals was an exceptionally rare opportunity, and he might only get this one chance.
Once his fearsome reputation spread across the seas, those terrified super-powered individuals would no longer gather so carelessly.
