Yan Zu's lengthy explanation finally gave Wen Wen a basic understanding of the inner world.
Within the inner world, there were countless races, many possessing unique abilities. The monsters he encountered in the real world generally had complete tribal communities here.
Deities were not uncommon in the inner world. Only Heavenly Realm Gods qualified to be overlords of a region. The Five Days and Seven Moons of the inner world all had Heavenly Realm Gods presiding over them.
All the overt powers of the real world, when placed in the Primal Land, wouldn't even cause a ripple.
According to what Wen Wen had heard before in the Temple of the Iron King, the real world was fully eroded. Upon reaching the inner world, there was a protection period. This was to ensure that newly arrived worlds wouldn't be immediately devoured by the innumerable races.
Subsequently, Wen Wen asked the question that concerned him most: the Supreme Rulers!
The Supreme Rulers were undoubtedly at the very top tier of the inner world, so powerful that even the black-robed figures spoke of them with dread.
Upon hearing the words "Supreme Ruler," Yan Zu shivered, then carefully chose his words to speak to Wen Wen.
"In the inner world, there are only eight Supreme Rulers. They all symbolize a certain root power, part of the rules that maintain the universe's operation. Even Heavenly Realm Gods cannot comprehend the greatness of the Supreme Rulers."
"To put it this way, the vast majority of superpower abilities you've encountered, when traced back to their origin, all stem from a Supreme Ruler."
"I cannot tell you their names, because just saying them would draw their attention. I can only tell you their titles and their respective realms."
"The first Supreme Ruler is the Creator, the Maker, the Lord of Endless Radiance!"
"He was the first Supreme Ruler to awaken in the Primal Land, bringing the initial light and reforming the shattered Primal Land. His 'Glorious Divine Kingdom' is located in the dome of the Primal Land."
Wen Wen nodded. This must be the one worshipped by the Church of Glory.
"The second is the source of all life, the mother of all beings, the Mother of Billions of Lives!"
"She nurtured the first life and guided the development of all life. She holds dominion over reproduction and certain desires. Her 'Native Isle' is the most fertile place in the Primal Land."
Wen Wen recalled the faint green female phantom he had seen the first time he'd tricked Ensook.
That should have just been a manifestation of a sliver of power based on Ensook's memories. Otherwise, with Wen Wen's strength at that time, seeing the figure of a Supreme Ruler would have turned him to dust.
"The third Supreme Ruler is the Master of the Will of Nature. Wind, fire, lightning, ice, snow, frost, rain, the passage of seasons – all are within His dominion. He is the Lord of the Heavens!"
"His divine kingdom is located in the Sea of Never-Ending Storms."
Wen Wen shrugged. This fellow didn't have much presence in the real world. If not for the appearance of the Moon God, that small organization might have been annihilated at any moment.
"The fourth Supreme Ruler is the Will of the Abyss, the Master of Hell, symbolizing the darkness of the Primal Land, the creator of all demons. He is the 'Primal Dark Side'!"
"His divine kingdom is the abode of demons, the 'Endless Abyss' where conquest and slaughter never cease."
Wen Wen had never encountered this Supreme Ruler. However, listening to him, he didn't sound like a good entity, so Wen Wen didn't want to get involved with him.
"The fifth Supreme Ruler is the embodiment of mystery and wisdom, the God of Knowledge and Exploration, the creator and administrator of rules. He is the Lord of Omniscience and Omnipotence. His divine kingdom is located in the Tower of Wisdom in the eastern part of the Primal Land."
Wen Wen's connection with this Supreme Ruler was already quite deep, as his father was still working for him. Furthermore, the Truth Society was planning to unite other secret organizations to cause trouble, and Wen Wen would eventually confront them.
"The sixth Supreme Ruler is the personification of death, the destination of all souls. He is the Lord of Great Stillness and Void!"
"His divine kingdom is an annexed space of the Primal Land, known as the Void Realm."
Wen Wen's expression darkened slightly as he remembered Wen Li, whom he had rescued.
"The seventh Supreme Ruler is the root of all evils: war, plague, famine, blasphemy, slaughter… He symbolizes and bears all the sins of the world. He is the Ancestor of Evils!"
"His divine kingdom is located at the bottom of the Primal Land, the 'Root of Evil,' where all filth gathers!"
The Ancestor of Evils should be the one worshipped by the Blasphemy Blood cult. Those who believed in him were solely focused on causing trouble.
"The last Supreme Ruler is the Nameless King, located outside the Primal Land, in the silent void!"
"He symbolizes the destruction and end of the Primal Land. Regardless of good or evil, light or darkness, all things tangible and intangible will eventually be destroyed by the awakened Nameless King. He is the Enemy of All Beings!"
Upon hearing this title, Wen Wen's heart suddenly tensed. This entity had few traces in the real world, but might be the one most deeply connected to Wen Wen, as his initial power came from the Singer in the Nameless King's palace.
Before, Wen Wen hadn't known how vast the inner world was, so he hadn't paid much attention.
But after learning of the vastness of the inner world, he noticed something unusual. Compared to the inner world, the real world was like insignificant dust. Why could traces of eight great rulers be found on this tiny planet?
Was there something here that warranted the attention of the eight strongest powers in the inner world?
Could it be that they wanted the Containment Facility, or the black-robed figures behind it? Sultan Novel Network.
A sense of urgency arose in Wen Wen's heart. He needed to possess enough power to protect himself before the real world was eroded.
"My last question for today: the inner world… the Primal Land, why do you want to erode Earth? You are already powerful enough; you don't lack this small planet."
Yan Zu countered, "Do you think being eroded is a bad thing?"
"Otherwise? You invade us, and we should be grateful?" Wen Wen retorted sarcastically. As a demon hunter, he knew the immense disaster that the erosion of the inner world had brought to the real world.
Yan Zu shook his head. "The universe is immeasurably vast and incredibly empty. Even if you could travel at the speed of light, there are places you cannot reach."
"Only Celestial Realm Gods can roam freely in the sea of stars. Star Realm Gods can survive in cosmic space, but it takes countless years to reach even slightly distant planets."
"In such an environment, the greatest possibility for a singular civilization is to develop to its extreme, then exhaust its resources, and finally slowly perish."
"Throughout the entire process, they would not come into contact with any other planetary civilizations, because distance is an insurmountable chasm!"
Yan Zu looked into Wen Wen's eyes and asked, "If you want to escape this desperate fate, what do you think needs to be done?"
