Beyond that boundless extraterrestrial starry sky, there existed colossal bubbles, each a universe unto itself.
Among the largest of these bubbles was the universe where the Primal Earth resided.
The black-robed figure, capable of surviving in the extraterrestrial expanse, was naturally immensely powerful; even Heavenly Gods were weak before him. He had become the sole existence between the Supreme Ruler and the Heavenly Gods.
Unfortunately, universes did not welcome extra-universal beings. The black-robed figure was gradually being expelled and would eventually disappear entirely, taking with him the residual information of his universe to become part of the Primal Earth.
This was the fate of all extra-universal life that inadvertently entered a universe; the universe expanded in this manner, ceaselessly.
To avoid his own demise, the black-robed figure sought to become one of the foundational pillars of this universe, a Supreme Ruler.
He observed that the Primal Earth’s constant encroachment upon other planets was not governed by any specific rules.
The Primal Earth was also a place of survival of the fittest, where the strong could act with impunity, unhindered by any restraint, while the weak could only endure their tyranny.
The process of encroachment generated immense energy. The black-robed figure planned to combine this energy with the sins generated during the encroachment.
With the aid of powers such as devouring, contracts, and punishment, he could establish a rule for the Primal Earth and the places it encroached upon, thereby achieving Supremacy.
Regrettably, this process was discovered by the Supreme Rulers, who would not tolerate an extra-universal being being their equal.
As the black-robed figure was on the verge of success, a Supreme Ruler voiced his disapproval, and thus the black-robed figure failed.
For the Supreme Rulers, they did not need to act directly; a mere expression of dissatisfaction was enough to utterly destroy the black-robed figure, for they themselves represented the universe.
Severely injured, the black-robed figure drifted to Earth. The traces he had left on the Primal Earth were erased, and even the Heavenly Gods had no memory of him.
He erected a barrier on Earth, absorbing the sins generated by encroachment, healing his injuries, and attempting to ascend again. Some of the inner-world creations he brought with him transformed into those supreme containment facilities.
The black-robed figure placed some of his flesh and blood, tainted by the Supreme Rulers' power, into the bodies of human creators, thus giving rise to a batch of special humans with superior innate talents compared to normal humans.
However, as ages passed, this batch of special humans interbred extensively with ordinary people, eventually blending into the masses.
But under specific stimuli, these individuals, by merging with the lingering spirits of powerful beings drifting throughout the world, could become superpowered individuals.
Thus, humanity, originally a mere species of ordinary intelligent life, gained a portion of its members the qualification to tread the path of the extraordinary.
This was an opportunity that no other encroached world possessed. It was precisely for this reason that humanity could maintain its status as the master of the world amidst the encroachment from the inner world.
Yet, although the Supreme Rulers' power was dispersed, the universe's rejection persisted, and his life continued to dissipate.
At this juncture, he should have abandoned his plan and sought a way back to the extraterrestrial expanse, which would at least allow him to linger and perhaps find a universe that did not reject him.
But as he was about to depart, the black-robed figure realized that his years in this universe had changed him.
He was no longer a mere bundle of cold flames; he had developed feelings for this world and did not wish to return to that meaningless existence, nor to retreat ignominiously.
Most importantly, he genuinely desired to establish that order to restrain the Primal Earth!
His homeland, that collapsed universe, had a similar order. He wished to at least see a similar order reappear here, so that his homeland would not truly be annihilated.
The plan the black-robed figure devised to achieve Supremacy was not for himself from the outset; he could no longer bear to see the countless beings suffer calamities due to the Primal Earth's encroachment.
The Primal Earth’s return to being the center of the universe was an inevitable trend, which the black-robed figure could not prevent. However, he could at least make the process of encroachment less sinful.
Thus, he gathered the extraordinary creations he had brought and forged the Disaster Containment Facility.
The Disaster Containment Facility would automatically absorb the sins brought by the inner world’s encroachment. Concurrently, within the facility, he laid out the path to becoming a Supreme Ruler that he had envisioned.
As long as someone could succeed him in managing the facility, that person could walk the same path as the black-robed figure.
Furthermore, unlike the black-robed figure, this person would be a native being of this universe, and the Supreme Rulers would not reject them.
The birth of each Supreme Ruler signified a more complete universe, and therefore the Supreme Rulers were pleased to see new Rulers emerge, as long as the new Ruler was not an extra-universal being.
However, this path was ultimately designed by the black-robed figure for himself; no one else could bear the nearly endless, colossal sins.
As time passed, the sins accumulated within the facility, and the black-robed figure grew weaker.
These excess sins formed a highly special being, this being was "Sin."
Sin possessed the wickedness of all sins and bore the suffering of all sins. Merely standing on the earth, the sins upon him would devour everything in existence.
He would instinctively deceive, rage, kill, and devour...
But simultaneously, he yearned for liberation, anticipating the existence of someone who could bear his sins.
If no one were to bear "Sin's" sins, the outbreak of these sins would instead cause greater disasters.
The black-robed figure gradually lost control of Sin and sacrificed most of the facility's power to seal Sin, entering a deep slumber himself prematurely.
He had initially believed that everything had ended and that he no longer had the opportunity to forge that new order.
Until that day, when he saw Wenwen enter the facility.
Wenwen was a very special being, the greatest gift bestowed upon him by fate.
The flesh and blood he had mixed with the Supreme Rulers' power had become humans scattered among the populace. It could be said that every superpowered individual shared a blood relationship with the black-robed figure, yet each superpowered individual was also unrelated to him.
And Wenwen was the most special among them. Through a long inheritance, the Supreme Rulers' characteristics continuously spread, forming individual superpowered individuals.
However, the black-robed figure's characteristics, after spreading for a period, began to re-aggregate, ultimately forming individuals like Wenwen.
Although Wenwen was merely a human, he inherited most of the black-robed figure's characteristics. Therefore, Wenwen could also manage the facility and bear those sins.
Thus, a plan to cultivate Wenwen was born.
Due to Wenwen's high degree of overlap with him, Wenwen's progress was rapid, and he truly revitalized the nearly extinct facility.
However, the black-robed figure would not live to see the final day.
The last remaining difficulty for Wenwen was to bear the infinite sins of Sin. As long as Wenwen could take those sins from Sin, he would truly embark on the path to becoming a Supreme Ruler.
And to bear sins, the first step was understanding. If he could see through Sin's evil facade and perceive Sin's inner suffering, then he would be qualified.
Sin would cooperate with Wenwen, for he had always yearned for self-destruction.
He was a being born from sins, a byproduct of the black-robed figure's plan. His existence was due to the fact that no one could bear these sins.
But his emergence brought no joy, for sins themselves were associated with many unhappy things.
As long as Wenwen could understand his feelings, he would concede to Wenwen, freeing himself from endless torment.
Therefore, when Wenwen prepared to leave, it was the only moment of happiness Sin had experienced since his birth.
Having passed the final test, Wenwen had officially embarked on the path once trodden by the black-robed figure.
This path was difficult, but Wenwen would not be deliberately targeted by the Supreme Rulers.
When Wenwen achieved his goal, all monsters entering the encroached worlds would no longer be able to act with impunity. There would be the power of order belonging to the facility to punish wicked monsters there.
The Disaster Foundation on Earth would spread to every encroached world.
Simultaneously, the Primal Earth could no longer continue its survival of the fittest. The contracts established by people would be justly upheld by Wenwen, and monsters that committed wrongdoing would be punished in the facility.
Wenwen would establish an order of rewarding good and punishing evil, liberating the world from chaos.
At that time, Wenwen would become the ninth Supreme Ruler—the Lord of Order!
