Hearing a woman’s voice suddenly call out to him, Matthias stopped in his tracks before she witnessed the forbidden scene firsthand. He turned his head for a moment to see the snake woman suddenly approach him, causing his brow to furrow. He had always greeted his friend warmly before, but for some reason, lately, he had been feeling extremely disturbed by her presence. Furthermore, learning that his friend had openly deceived his mother made him furious.
"Amber, what are you doing here?"
"Of course I want to visit you too."
Matthias rolled his eyes. "You could have visited me after I finished my observations. Why couldn’t you have waited a while?"
Amber’s gaze was drawn to Victoria’s more luxurious appearance than hers, making her envious. Furthermore, she wondered if Victoria was pregnant. Should she commit her crime now that the atmosphere was so conducive?
"I never thought I’d meet Victoria here. I remembered your video trending on social media right now. I’m so jealous, even though you’ve previously clarified your relationship as just friends."

Suddenly, the head of the contractor approached Matthias and whispered for a moment. Matthias was forced to comply with the head of the contractor’s request to discuss project matters. He looked at his wife with a sad look.
"Victoria, this time I really want to discuss with team B. Do you mind talking to Amber first?"

"Okay, I assume what I did with Matthias was right. But I’m curious about you. Why are you so enthusiastic about marrying him? Do you want his money?"
