Several days have passed, and the situation at D&C Group has become increasingly grim as the new leadership has implemented regulations that severely disadvantage employees. While the financial situation has begun to recover, this is all due to Fransisca’s misconduct toward all employees.
Since Fransisca took over as leader of the D&C Group, she has planned to lay off employees en masse to reduce operational costs. She strongly dislikes employees who slack off. Fransisca exhaled sharply as she heard the many employees wanting to get rid of her. She continued to grumble in her office. Meanwhile, her personal assistant could only stand in front of her, bowing her head.
"They’re ungrateful. I’ve given them so many benefits, but they still work lazily!"
"But, if you continue to behave like this towards employees, the board of directors will not hesitate to fire you too."
Fransisca smiled sarcastically, resting her chin on her palm. "Don’t worry, they won’t get rid of me as long as my mother is still around. Besides, they’re all afraid of her. I’m in this position thanks to her, too."
"But if you become more cruel, then they–"
"Lena, do you now defend others more than me?"
Lena shook her head nervously. "Of course I’m defending you. But I’m offering advice as your assistant and advisor. I don’t want you to fall just because you made a wrong move."
"Don’t worry. You don’t have to worry about me. What’s certain is that right now I want to prove to everyone that I’m more worthy than Victoria, who can’t do anything."
Lena was actually becoming increasingly anxious as her boss became increasingly cruel to his employees. If her boss continued to behave like this and everyone wanted to bring her down, what should she do?

News of Fransisca’s detrimental employee regulations reached Ansel. Victoria had previously asked Ansel for help, as he had a friend who worked at D&C Group. Therefore, one of the D&C Group employees told her about the crisis caused by these unreasonable regulations.
Ansel, who just heard it, was very scared. Imagining himself working there under the suffocating rules of the officials, he admitted that he would not be willing to work under too much pressure. Therefore, he can’t wait to see his friend successfully lead D&C Group again.
Now Ansel had invited two of his friends to his residence. He shared the information he’d learned from one of them about the cruel regulations. Hearing this made Victoria’s blood pressure rise. Fortunately, her beloved husband immediately calmed her with a gentle touch.
"I didn’t think Fransisca was as cruel as her mother!" Victoria said sharply.
"That’s why everyone says, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree," Ansel replied, nodding.
Matthias smiled casually, putting his arm around his wife’s shoulder. "Tory, you don’t have to worry anymore. We’ll catch Gianna soon. Fransisca certainly couldn’t have done anything without her mother’s help."
"That’s right. Fransisca hasn’t really understood how the company works. That’s why she made such a reckless rule."
"But, when are you going to arrest Mr. Robert? He’s the only key to catching Gianna."
Victoria smiled sarcastically. "I’m definitely going to catch him tonight."
Ansel rested his chin on his hand. "Will Mr. Robert, listen to you? I highly doubt that he was blinded by Gianna’s love."
"Of course, if you come with Victoria too." Matthias suggested casually.
His eyes immediately widened at his friend’s blunt proposal. "Me?"
Matthias rolled his eyes. "Have you forgotten that Victoria and I are now divorced? Do you want our mission ruined just because you won’t accompany her?"
"Actually, I want to accompany her because I promised you. But what if Mr. Robert feels uncomfortable because of my presence?"
"Don’t worry, at least he won’t run away after I manage to make him speechless."
Ansel and Matthias narrowed their eyes at the innocent, usually sweet-looking woman. For the first time, she was acting cunning.

Victoria visited Robert’s residence with Ansel. She confidently rang the doorbell, looking at her friend for reassurance. Less than a minute later, the door swung open slightly, revealing a disheveled and pale Robert as he greeted them.
"Victoria, what are you doing here?" Robert asked in a trembling voice.
Victoria smiled sarcastically as she took her best friend’s hand. "Of course, we have a lot to discuss inside."
"As for the will, I can’t help you anymore. Your father won’t give you all his wealth!" Just as Robert was about to close the door, Victoria forced it open and barged in with Ansel.
Robert immediately ran after his insolent guest, who had barged into his residence without a word. Moreover, he hadn’t tidied up the house, which was littered with traces of him being Gianna’s mistress. The clear evidence was a photo of them together.
Meanwhile, Victoria laughed in annoyance as she saw the disgusting surroundings of this residence. She imagined her stepmother cheating on her and frequently going on dates with Robert in a place like this. She felt like screaming because everyone close to her was secretly betraying her father.
"You’re absolutely disgusting! If my father finds out you’ve been dating my stepmother all this time, he’ll never forgive you!"
"What’s your real purpose for coming to me all of a sudden? I already told you, I can’t help you revise that letter anymore! Besides, it’s now proven that I support Gianna!"
"You have no sense of self, Mr. Robert! My father has given you so much, yet you betray him! What has Gianna given you all this time? Love? Screw her!"
