Chapter 1133 Shocking Revelations

Ling Tian’s tone was fine, but his words were laced with killing intent.

What did he mean by letting them die silently, and letting them die in endless pain!

Yet, these few people knew that Ling Tian was not bragging. With Ling Tian’s peculiar medical skills and his unfathomable magic, if Ling Tian was determined to kill Old Capensa or Hajimier, they would have no power to resist!

But what they didn't know was that these assassins were actually hired by Ling Tian. Ling Tian deliberately did this, a superfluous move like taking off pants to fart, in order to confuse the public.

King Hajif was now blinded by Ling Tian’s illusion. He also felt that Ling Tian wouldn't need to go through so much trouble to seek revenge.

“Your Majesty, since you mentioned the Capensa family, I actually have something related to the Capensa family that I would like to report to you.”

Ling Tian’s tone was light and casual, as if he were narrating a very ordinary matter.

“Please speak, Mr. Ling Tian!”

“Your Majesty, in fact, I don’t have time to deal with the Capensa family at all.

I have been traveling at sea these past few days, and just a day ago, we were ambushed by a group of pirates!”

“Heavens, are you alright?” King Hajif asked with feigned concern, though it was hard to tell if it was genuine. Nevertheless, his outward display of concern was impeccable.

“Thank you for your concern. The ship I was on had very strong firepower. We annihilated the entire pirate crew and captured their leader, Abubakar!”

On the other end of the phone, King Hajif and Arroyo were unfazed, but Old Capensa trembled upon hearing the name Abubakar.

Old Capensa never expected that even a pirate group like Abubakar, with over a thousand men and nearly twenty ships, would fare so poorly against Ling Tian. The old man now had a bad premonition.

It had to be said, his premonition was accurate.

“Your Majesty, we interrogated the pirate leader, and he confessed that someone instructed him to kill me!

And the person who instructed him was none other than Mr. Old Capensa!”

“Nonsense, he’s lying. This is blatant slander, Your Majesty, he’s defaming me!”

On the other end of the phone, Old Capensa exploded.

He had just patted his chest and assured the King that he had nothing to do with the assassin targeting Ling Tian, only for Ling Tian to present irrefutable evidence that contradicted him.

If this matter were proven, how would King Hajif view him? How could the King still help him with any credibility!

“Your Majesty, that pirate must be lying, or I suspect there were no pirates at all. This is all Ling Tian’s scheme…”

Ling Tian, hearing Old Capensa’s voice on the other end, sneered inwardly. It seemed this phone call would be quite significant concerning Old Capensa.

“Your Majesty, we Chinese value integrity. How could we possibly frame others so casually?

During the interrogation of the pirate, we made a more significant discovery: that pirate had a long-term cooperation with Mr. Capensa!

Mr. Capensa would provide intelligence to these pirates, allowing them to attack merchant ships…”

Upon hearing Ling Tian’s words, Old Capensa’s body began to tremble like a sieve.

But he quickly forced himself to remain calm.

“Your Majesty, you cannot listen to him. This person will stop at nothing to get revenge on us!

The reasons he fabricated are simply ridiculous…”

“Your Majesty, I have evidence for everything I’ve said. That pirate has a peculiar habit: he records all his phone conversations when he makes deals with others…

I can send you these recordings; they are all evidence!

What Mr. Capensa has done is unforgivable, Your Majesty. I suggest you replace your Minister of Finance as soon as possible…”

Old Capensa never imagined that this fire would eventually engulf him. The King’s gaze towards him was already becoming abnormal.

The King asked young Arroyo to provide Ling Tian with an email address. An hour later, the inbox was flooded with various video files.

Young Arroyo brought a computer, operated it himself, and displayed it before the King.

The first video was of Ling Tian and his team interrogating the pirate Abubakar.

Abubakar readily admitted that people from the Capensa family had supported him in his actions. He then went on to detail his years of cooperation with the Capensa family.

Following that were some audio files, which were recordings of conversations between the two men.

There was also a file containing a list, detailing the ships attacked by the pirate leader Abubakar over the years with the support of Old Capensa.

When Arroyo and his son saw this list, they were furious.

Old Arroyo, who had remained silent all this time, knelt before the King.

“Your Majesty, Your Majesty, please grant us justice!

Over the past decade, several ships belonging to our Arroyo family’s shipping company have been attacked by pirates.

These ships went missing, and the fate of the crew remains unknown, causing our shipping company to face massive compensation claims and pushing us to the brink of bankruptcy!

Look at this list. It turns out this pirate was responsible for these incidents, and it was the Capensa family who instigated it!

Your Majesty, please grant us justice, please grant justice to the crew members who were attacked by pirates!”

King Hajif’s expression was extremely grim. He even felt like killing someone at that moment.

This was because the list of attacked ships also included several vessels belonging to the royal fleet.

The King could never have imagined that Old Capensa would be so greedy for profit that he would collude with pirates to eliminate competitors!

Although he had supported the Capensa family to counter the Arroyo family, the King expected this competition to be healthy and within certain rules.

But now, the Capensa family had clearly crossed the line. The King clearly did not want his subordinates’ power to exceed his control.

What angered the King even more was that Old Capensa had adamantly claimed he had not sent assassins to attack Ling Tian, yet he had colluded with pirates to ambush Ling Tian, which was clearly a deception of the King.

Whether domestically or internationally, in ancient times or modern, treason was an unforgivable crime!

Moreover, Ling Tian had solid evidence. If this were to go to court, this evidence would be sufficient for a direct conviction!

“Capensa, you have disappointed me greatly!”
