Chapter 390: Dian Dian Grows Up and Wants to Marry Uncle Chu Tian

Chu Tian's group gradually grew larger.

No one spoke, all silently following behind Chu Tian.

Even Old Yang was secretly weighing just how strong Chu Tian really was.

As for Qian Qian, though she had seen him kill the Long-armed Ape clansmen before—those at the Profound Soul level—the Moonhorn Rhinoceros clan was different. They were considered an upper-tier race among the demon beasts. Even the Nether Hound clan was several levels above the Long-armed Ape clan.

The Moonhorn Rhinoceros clan, upon reaching adulthood, had a minimum strength of the Earth Soul level.

Yet just now, one had been instantly killed by Chu Tian in such a manner—

A single finger to the head…

If she told anyone, they’d think she was insane.

But it had truly happened right before her eyes.

"Brother Tian, should I call some clansmen back to bring us a few mounts? They probably haven’t gone far yet. If we’re heading to Beast City, walking like this will take a long time. Plus, we’ll need to be wary of other powerful beings," Gou Lang said from behind Chu Tian, pulling out a signal flare and looking at him.

They were still at least a thousand miles from Beast City. Traveling on foot like this would take forever.

"No need. Tell me more about the demon beast clans instead," Chu Tian shook his head.

Right now, the area around Beast City was gathering the young elites of various races. Many held grudges against each other, stabbing one another in the dark—far from peaceful.

Chu Tian felt this might be nature’s way of survival of the fittest, or perhaps a scheme by Beast City itself.

Large-scale conflicts were forbidden, but small skirmishes were tacitly allowed.

Half a day later, Gou Lang frequently glanced back at their peculiar group—six people and a monkey, all traveling on foot.

In such a dangerous area, there were bound to be arrogant races looking for trouble.

A faint worry gnawed at his heart.

Along the way, they encountered several other groups, all moving cautiously.

But Chu Tian paid no heed, advancing straight ahead without avoiding anyone.

They also passed many battlefields, littered with corpses—some killed by the Sandbadger Tide, others slaughtered by rival clans.

**Roar—!**

**Kill—!**

Suddenly, ahead of them, two groups of hundreds clashed in a fierce battle.

Amid the torrential rain, the mud and sand beneath them splattered wildly from the force of their combat.

For a moment, the rain seemed to stop in that area, as if a vacuum had formed.

From a distance, giant tigers could be seen leaping and pouncing, their claws tearing through the air, their tails whipping with enough force to shake space itself.

Opposing them were massive lions wreathed in flames, radiating scorching heat.

The very air seemed to collapse under their burning presence.

"The Saber-toothed Tiger clan and the Blazing Lion clan—they’re mortal enemies. Never expected to run into them here… When these two meet, it’s always a fight to the death, no quarter given!" Gou Lang stopped in his tracks, explaining to Chu Tian with wide eyes.

Chu Tian watched intently. **This** was the combat of true powerhouses.

Compared to these two, the Long-armed Apes and Moonhorn Rhinoceroses would probably turn tail and flee.

This was the suppression of bloodline hierarchy among demon beasts.

"Where do these two clans rank among the demon beasts?" Chu Tian asked as he continued walking.

"Royal clans…" Gou Lang uttered just those two words.

Chu Tian said nothing, his gaze unwavering as he strode straight toward the battlefield.

By the time they reached the edge of the fight, it was nearing its end.

The Blazing Lions vastly outnumbered the Saber-toothed Tigers.

Only about ten tigers remained, while the lions had also suffered heavy losses, leaving behind a third of their corpses.

Even in death, the flames on their bodies still burned, radiating intense heat.

Gou Lang had tried multiple times to persuade Chu Tian to detour around the battlefield.

Both the Saber-toothed Tigers and Blazing Lions were notoriously violent races.

Approaching them like this would only provoke hostility.

In their eyes, Chu Tian’s group—lacking any aura of strength—was pathetically weak.

These two clans were nothing like the Moonhorn Rhinoceroses. Even if Chu Tian was strong, he stood no chance against them.

Yet Chu Tian ignored him, walking straight into the heart of the battle.

The Blazing Lions noticed them immediately.

"Nether Hounds? **Scram!**"

The largest of the lions growled, his voice deep and commanding.

He completely disregarded Chu Tian, assuming the humans were merely servants of the Nether Hounds.

Instantly, all eyes turned toward them—even the wounded Saber-toothed Tigers snarled in anger at their intrusion.

Gou Lang’s fur stood on end.

Any one of these beings could crush him effortlessly.

This was the pressure of bloodline superiority. Cold sweat drenched his back as fear took hold.

**Whoosh—!**

A dozen Blazing Lions broke off, surrounding them.

"Leave now if you value your lives!"

They weren’t sure why a Nether Hound would bring humans into their battlefield. Did they have some hidden backing?

"Can you extinguish the flames on your bodies?" Chu Tian asked calmly.

The lions froze.

What was this human implying?

When they didn’t respond, Chu Tian glanced at Gou Lang.

The hound was drenched in sweat, shaking his head. "Those flames are part of their innate form—it’s why they’re called Blazing Lions."

"I see," Chu Tian nodded, then turned to the lion blocking his path.

"In that case, riding one would just burn my ass, huh?"

"Move aside. If you can’t even serve as mounts… you’re worthless. **Get lost.**"

Without another word, he stepped forward as if the lion before him were air.

"Arrogant human! You’ll pay for your insolence with your life!"

The Blazing Lion roared, charging at Chu Tian.

As he moved, his massive form shrank—a habit when fighting humans, as their large bodies were too cumbersome.

The entire pride erupted in fury, their flames flaring higher.

This insignificant human dared to speak of riding them—and even had the gall to call them worthless because of their flames!

"Die? Fine… I’ll oblige."

Chu Tian planted his steel spear into the ground.

Seeing this, Old Yang—who was also somewhat fearful—couldn’t help but sigh internally.

*If you’re just going to discard your weapon every fight, why even carry a spear?*

"**Giant Bear Form—activate!**"

**Charge—!**

With a burst of speed, Chu Tian met the Blazing Lion head-on.

**Heavy Strike—!**

As the lion’s claws slashed toward him, tearing through the air with razor-sharp force, Chu Tian countered with both palms.

**Boom—!**

A shockwave erupted from the impact, flinging the rain aside and leaving a momentary void.

"Heh… you’re done," Chu Tian grinned at the lion.

The beast’s eyes widened—this wasn’t part of his plan.

Before he could react, agony seared through his claws.

**Crack—!**

"**Awooo—!**" The lion howled in pain.

"Trying to run? No chance. **Rend!**"

Chu Tian yanked his arms apart—**Rip—!**

A mist of blood filled the air, obscuring the scene.

When the rain fell again, the battlefield was clear.

A man stood drenched in blood, holding two halves of a corpse.

His domineering aura sent a tremor through every heart present.

Qian Qian and Nie Yun—their breaths hitched, chests heaving as they stared at Chu Tian.

"Wow! Uncle Chu Tian is so cool! When Dian Dian grows up, she wants to marry Uncle Chu Tian!"

Just as Chu Tian bent to pick up a red crystal from the ground, Dian Dian’s shout made him stumble, nearly face-planting into the mud.
