Lily had made arrangements with Roger Chamberlain for the hospital care, then she devoted the next two days to keeping company with Skye Brown.

By the time the car reached the airport and the cell phone rang again, Lily couldn’t hold back anymore.
She said to David sitting beside her, “Brother, can’t you just answer the call once? If you hate Aidan Lucas, just pick up the call and make it clear to him. Why must you… why must you…”

David didn’t even glance at it; he just hung up.
