Chapter 254: Chapter 254 The Little Goblin
Isabella Weaver only realized something was amiss after she touched it.
She silently withdrew her hand, lowered her head, and fell silent.
The air was filled with an indescribable ambiguity and... awkwardness.
Of course, actually only Isabella felt awkward, as Harry Hunter was thick-skinned; the word "awkward" simply didn’t exist in his dictionary!
He looked at Isabella’s hand that had pulled back, his Adam’s apple moved slightly, and he pulled her into his embrace, whispering into her ear, "Don’t worry, after lunch, you can touch it all you want at home."
Isabella’s cheeks flushed red, and she smacked his thigh hard: "What nonsense are you talking about!"
Who’s in a hurry?!
It was just a momentary lapse!
Why does he have to lean in to her ear to speak, the warm breath he exhaled was simply deadly!
Harry watched her blushing face and laughed softly.
He mischievously nibbled her reddened ear, then leaned in to kiss her neck.
Isabella frantically pushed him away, her heart was about to jump out!
"There are three other people in the kitchen! Do you want to get me killed!"
"Hmm, that makes it even more thrilling."
"No way!"
"Actually, I can, want to try?"
"No!"
"You can’t go against your heart and stubbornly say no."
"I’m not going against it, my heart is saying no!"
Harry leaned over her heart and listened, saying in all seriousness, "It just said yes."
Isabella was both exasperated and amused, she looked into Harry’s deep eyes as a smile slowly spread across her face, then burst into laughter.
Being with him, there was truly never a dull moment.
She initially thought he would be a particularly dull and uninteresting person!
Outside the window, the spring rain was misty, and the soft raindrops made the cobblestone path gleam.
On the living room TV, a variety show was playing, with both the host and guests laughing merrily.
In the kitchen, the sound of stir-frying, talking, and the aroma of food filled the entire apartment.
And beside her was her handsome and interesting husband, with his mischievous fingers moving around her waist.
Isabella felt happy.
She glanced at the kitchen, saw no one coming out, leaned close to Harry, and quickly pecked his cheek.
Harry immediately kissed her back.
Isabella looked up at him and said softly, "Honey, can we also invite friends over for dinner in the future?"
Harry was so softened by that "Honey" that he couldn’t possibly say no.
He hugged Isabella tightly and gave her a deep kiss: "Sure, my little enchantress!"
Isabella protested, "How do I resemble a little enchantress?"
"In every way, you’re just a little enchantress."
"I’m not! It’s you. Your back injury got worse, you’ve been fooling around with some enchantress!"
"Falsely accused! Aside from you, there’s no other enchantress!"
"That wasn’t me, it was Doctor Niles who said it. He said you did vigorous activities without restraint, so your injury worsened!"
"Just wait, I’m going to take down that Niles! Quack!"
Harry put on a cold face, pretending to get up.
Isabella held onto him: "Oh come on, I’m just kidding! Be nice to Doctor Niles, he’s such a responsible and competent doctor!"
Harry gritted his teeth; he’d have to let Johan Niles know someday why flowers are so red!
Johan Niles came out with a fresh mushroom fish soup, only to find Harry staring coldly at him, as if he wanted to tear him apart.
He put down the fish soup, touched his ear with a puzzled expression: "Young Master Hunter, you must be starving?"
Harry snorted coldly: "Hmm?"
Johan was terrified: "I thought you were so hungry you wanted to eat me alive, aren’t you starving?"
