Chapter 315: Chapter 315.Low profile

In a forest region teeming with lush greenery, several streaks of light flashed past the region from time to time.

The streaks of light materialised into several individuals bearing scared and tired expressions on their faces after another streak of light flashed past one of them, and caused a head to roll on the ground, and the now headless body of their companion to fall on the ground with blood splattering like a fountain all over the place.

"Oh come on, don’t tell me you are tired ~" Miranda said, feigning displeasure as though she had not enjoyed toying with them these past few days.

She stared at her hands, now turned into sharp elongated claws painted in the blood of the Ashton Society member she had just killed.

Her gaze, as if it bore the demeanor of death itself, caused the first year Ashton Society members she had been chasing for several days now to shudder.

" Plea-se, we just want to complete o-ur mission peacefully. We have nothing to do with what happened between the Harkers Society and the Sword Tribunal Society members recently " one of them spoke, choosing his words carefully, his heart thumping in fear, as he knew that each word could be his last.

The others shrinked behind them, frightened, pale and exhausted, having run out techniques, universe energy and methods to escape from the monster before them.

Miranda revealed an innocent expression on her face as she spoke. " Honestly have nothing against you. Don’t take it personal. Just trying to send a message across to your society leaders and the rest of the academy that the Sword Tribunal Society cannot be bullied "

After that, her figure whizzed past their defeated expressions, her sharpened, elongated claws tearing through their necks, causing heads to roll and necks to spill blood on the lush forest floor.

" Rest in peace " she said flatly, then disappeared.

Similar scenes like the one involving Miranda played out in various regions of the academy where first year members of the societies that had been involved in Vesper’s ploy died under the relentless slaughter of the Sword Tribunal Society members.

It had to be noted that the members of the Sword Tribunal Society involved high ranked first year students and second year monsters like Lian Yu, Anaya, and even Pan Halfoy. This made overpowering first years of other societies easy for them.

The rumors of what the Sword Tribunal Society members did quickly spread to various regions of the academy, causing a wave of uproar to erupt everywhere.

What caused more of an uproar was the fact that pictures of the dead members of the various societies had been taken and sent to the academy social media handles by anonymous accounts.

The pictures were tagged " Pick a guess? Why did they die? "

The comments session was in an uproar.

" This is definitely the work of those Sword Tribunal Society members !"

" Hehehe, those first years have really got some guts!"

" I agree, to openly spite the senior year society leaders of the other societies is something extremely daring to do. But I gotta admit, their president is very strong, so they have a grounded footing "

" I don’t agree! Even if their president is strong, their collective strength cannot match the collective strengths of the leaders of the other societies. They are biting more than they can chew!"

" Heh! You people still underestimate Kailen Darkhaven after all the nonsense he had pulled off?! I’m sure that fellow has something in mind concerning all of this!"

" Let’s see how this plays out! Never before has someone in the academy managed to pull off such ridiculous things. This Kailen Darkhaven is something else!"

" I heard that during the society wars several years back, his father, the then president of the Darkhaven Society, slaughtered one of the councillors—the nephew of the crown prince. When the crown prince of the empire, who at the time, was a councillor on campus approached him in anger, he beat the crown prince up and told the crown prince to fuck off "

" Like father like son! Ha!"

" But this Kailen Darkhaven is really something else. To be able to rally several of the prodigies of the first years to join his society is not something just anybody can do "

" Some of us even wanted to join his society because of the benefits we’d get from the alchemical products, but the price to pay for leaving your society is not worth it "

" Yeah, what was Pan Halfoy thinking?"

The comments continued and went on and on and on, as different students shared their opinions concerning the matter.

Ranking battles went on, and the members of the Sword Tribunal Society were dominating the top of the rankings, and utterly trouncing the other first years belonging to the other societies.

" How do these guys train?"

" Their society president is an alchemist with a purity level of at least 91 percent, what do you think?"

" So they are benefiting from alchemical products huh. Damn it, I really regret joining the other societies. Look at how Everlong Alexia killed the 20th ranked first year from the Arcane Society with just a single slash! Her strength has increased considerably since the entrance exams!"

" It’s such a shame that they are taking no new members, sigh! But maybe I could you know, use my assets to find a way right?"

" Are you crazy girl? He’s surrounded by the first and fifth ranked beauties of the first years. Do you think he will have time to look at you?"

" But speaking of Kailen Darkhaven, where is he?"

" It’s like he has disappeared amidst all the commotion his society is causing "

" Well, he will just make an appearance to do something mind boggling again!"

" My face is almost heating up just thinking of him "

" Girl, you need a psychiatrist!"

The discussions on the forums and at various areas of the academy continued during the uproar caused by the Sword Tribunal Society members.

However, the main mastermind behind this counterattack, Kailen had not made a single move during this period.

Only God knew what he was cooking up.
