Chapter 11 The Commander

The Eleven Guild members, though big shots in any main city, were like regular celebrities compared to the superstar status of Gu Fei, Jian Gui, and Xi Yao Wu. They tried to arrange themselves in a formation, attempting to maneuver as they would against normal opponents. But Jian Gui’s Misty Shadow Assault shattered their formation on one side. Then Gu Fei used Instant Movement, brazenly teleporting right into the middle of their ranks, unleashing a Twin Flame Slash that left no one untouched. Xi Yao Wu charged forward as well, stabbing people while disappearing, leaving no chance for retaliation.

The Eleven Guild members were thrown into utter chaos, but the most anxious of them all was Yu Tian Shen Ming.

He wanted to steal the spotlight! To be the leading actor! To make people remember him! But how could he possibly steal the thunder from those three? He had no kung fu skills, no overpowered equipment, no super-level skills. To make matters worse, the enemies were right in front of them, while he, an archer, had to stay far back and fire arrows, making him feel utterly insignificant. Yu Tian Shen Ming was regretting his decision to team up with these three. Compared to them, he felt no different from the guys being slaughtered on the ground.

Yu Tian Shen Ming refused to be ignored. He wanted people to acknowledge his existence, so he quickly rushed forward, shouting at the top of his lungs, “Qian Li, to the left, those two, don’t let them escape! Jian Gui, come back, intercept that one! Sister Xi, where are you? Watch out for my arrows!!!”

The three he named turned around, dumbfounded, wondering what he was yelling about. But Yu Tian Shen Ming shouted even louder, “What are you spacing out for during combat? Hurry up, we have a lot to do! Quick, quick, quick!”

Yu Tian Shen Ming finally succeeded in fooling them. He saw the remaining survivors looking at him with surprise, admiration, and awe. Anyone who could order those three around like that was definitely not simple, even if he looked like a mere kid…

Gu Fei and the others didn’t have time to argue with Yu Tian Shen Ming. After ten seconds of combat, the enemy had completely collapsed, their morale in the negatives. Everyone was running in random directions, not even thinking about things like speed.

This gave Yu Tian Shen Ming another chance to perform. He immediately pointed east and west, directing the three to pursue. “You said we’d split the PK points evenly. Why didn’t you shoot any arrows?” Jian Gui asked.

“Ah…” Yu Tian Shen Ming snapped back to reality. He had been so focused on performing his command talents that he hadn’t noticed Jian Gui deliberately giving him opportunities to shoot arrows.

“Can you focus a little?” Xi Yao Wu continued to exert force.

“I know, I know, I understand, I understand,” Yu Tian Shen Ming quickly replied.

“Have you confirmed the remaining targets?” Xi Yao Wu released his face and turned to ask Gu Fei.

“Yeah, I told Gongzi to get the scrolls,” Gu Fei said.

“Good.” Xi Yao Wu nodded and immediately activated another teleportation scroll.

“Where are we going?” The three were a little confused, but they quickly stepped into the teleportation array. A flash of white light later, they found themselves next to the main city’s mailbox.

“Can’t waste time on things like that,” Xi Yao Wu said smugly, very satisfied with her meticulous planning.

“Check the mailbox,” Gu Fei said.

Xi Yao Wu opened the mailbox and saw that Han Jia Gongzi’s efficiency was indeed impressive. Another pile of teleportation scrolls had arrived.

“Jian Gui, you pick one,” Xi Yao Wu said, handing the scrolls to Jian Gui, whose judgment of direction was the best.

Gu Fei reported the coordinates of the current target, and Jian Gui filtered through the scrolls, choosing the closest one and immediately using it…

The Eleven Guild members who had returned to their hometowns were in tears. The leader was even more miserable, losing two levels in one fall due to his PK points. In addition to his frustration, he had to notify the others, warning them to be careful.

Players with PK points were asking their companions if they had any teleportation scrolls, as they could save their lives… two levels’ worth of life.

In the end, some did manage to escape using this method. Gu Fei kept an eye on the coordinate changes on the mission, and when someone suddenly moved a great distance, he immediately knew they had teleported. Gu Fei told the others while wondering, “What’s the use of teleporting? We can just teleport to chase them!”

“I don’t know!” The three didn’t understand the point of the teleportation.

Gu Fei told Han Jia Gongzi the new coordinates, preparing to have Han Jia Gongzi get some scrolls, but Han Jia Gongzi was thoughtful: “Is there even a need? They’re going back to the city to hide offline, right?”

Gu Fei suddenly realized that this was a smaller version of the five hundred people logging off before!

The terrifying pursuit continued until all four of their PK values reached 29, at which point Gu Fei’s wanted list was empty. Some had been killed, some had escaped offline, and some had simply reached the time when their PK points disappeared, making them the luckiest of all.

The four returned to wash away their PK points, but Bao Du Feng Shuang and the others had no way of knowing this. Players with PK points continued to be nervous, and those who reached the main city ran offline. Bao Du Feng Shuang was also very anxious. In fact, the overall losses weren’t too great, only a few dozen people had died, but the problem was that morale was taking a hit.
