Hidden behind the bookshelf, Jiang Yi let out a cold laugh.
Manager Yang, that guy is indeed untrustworthy. He claimed to cooperate with me against Qiu Fang, but secretly betrayed me.

"There is indeed such a possibility," Qiu Fang nodded.
"Boss, there's one more person you must be wary of," Manager Yang said.
"Who?" Qiu Fang inquired.
"Shi Jin!" Manager Yang replied. "Shi Jin entered our company with Jiang Yi. Now, Jiang Yi has handed over those fifty-plus assassins to Shi Jin's command. These assassins obey Jiang Yi. If Jiang Yi betrays the company, we'll be defenseless!"
Qiu Fang nodded.
"I'm aware of all these matters. I will handle them. You may leave now." Qiu Fang instructed.
"Yes!" Manager Yang responded, a peculiar smile gracing his lips.
After Manager Yang departed, Jiang Yi finally emerged from behind the bookshelf.
"Did you hear everything Manager Yang just said?" Qiu Fang asked Jiang Yi.
"Yes," Jiang Yi nodded. "I heard it all. Manager Yang has resorted to such slander to deal with me. He wants to use you, Boss, to eliminate me. Once I'm gone, he can do as he pleases within the company and easily seize your position."
Qiu Fang's expression turned thoughtful.
Clearly, Qiu Fang did not believe either Jiang Yi or Manager Yang.
"Let me ask you, are you truly the boss of Tiansheng Group?" Qiu Fang questioned Jiang Yi.
"No," Jiang Yi replied. "If I were the boss of Tiansheng Group, why would I come here to be an assassin, living a life on the edge of a knife? I'm not a fool!"
"Then what is Tiansheng Group? Even if Manager Yang wanted to frame you, he wouldn't use such a childish method!" Qiu Fang stated, fixing his gaze on Jiang Yi.
"That was my trap!" Jiang Yi explained. "I deliberately leaked my identity to trick Manager Yang into believing I was the boss of Tiansheng Group, so he would be distracted investigating me. This allowed me to easily eliminate his close associates."
Qiu Fang remained silent and called in his secretary.
"Do you know about Tiansheng Group?" Qiu Fang asked the secretary.
"Yes," the secretary nodded. "Tiansheng Group developed a perfume that is quite popular. It's called 'Beauty Perfume.' Anyone who knows this perfume knows of Tiansheng Group!"
"Who is the boss of Tiansheng Group? Do you know?" Qiu Fang inquired.
"The boss of Tiansheng Group is Li Ping, a powerful businesswoman," the secretary replied.
"Is that so?" Qiu Fang let out a cold laugh and said to the secretary, "Manager Yang just said Jiang Yi is the boss of Tiansheng Group. What do you think about that?"
Upon hearing this, the secretary's gaze swept over Jiang Yi.
"I don't think it's very likely," the secretary said. "It's not that I look down on Mr. Jiang. Mr. Jiang is a natural-born assassin, but no matter how you look at it, he doesn't seem like a major businessman."
"How do you know Jiang Yi isn't good at business?" Qiu Fang continued to ask.
"I'm guessing based on intuition," the secretary replied.
Qiu Fang nodded. "I also feel Jiang Yi doesn't seem like a businessman. If he were, he'd surely be bankrupt!" He even chuckled at his own statement.
"Jiang Yi, don't worry! I trust you and won't listen to Manager Yang's nonsense," Qiu Fang said to Jiang Yi. "Don't mind anything else. Just work for me diligently. You have no need for any worries. Do as you normally would!"
"Thank you, Boss!" Jiang Yi feigned gratitude.
He then said his goodbyes and left the office.
Outside the office, Jiang Yi took a deep breath.
