"How could I possibly know what you're thinking?" Mu Anxiao said, chuckling foolishly.
Shen Yan withdrew her smile, glared at Mu Anxiao, and walked gracefully toward the demons subdued by Ye Yin.
Mu Anxiao let out a sigh of exhaustion, lowered his head, and closed his eyes to sleep.
"Alright," Ye Yin retracted her Ginkgo leaves and turned to look at Shen Yan.
Shen Yan glanced at Ye Yin, stopped in front of the demons, then calculated with her fingers, and looked at the large-headed demon. She said, "Since you became a demon, you've committed countless evils. Reincarnation is out of the question for you."
"Great Immortal, I haven't!" the large-headed demon said with fear.
Shen Yan ignored the large-headed demon and recounted the crimes of each of the other demons, finally saying, " I didn't want to interfere with you, but you dared to provoke me..." She scanned the wicked demons, "Forget it, in other words, you brought this upon yourselves."
"Great Immortal, please release us," the demons pleaded in unison.
"I dare not anymore, I dare not."
"If you release us, we will never dare to think of finding a companion for you to enhance our cultivation."
"Is that true?" Shen Yan swept her gaze across their hopeful eyes and asked.
They nodded in unison.
Immediately, a meaningful smile played on Shen Yan's lips.
Ye Yin looked at Shen Yan's expression with confusion and frowned slightly.
"Great Immortal, what does your smile mean?" the large-headed demon asked, looking at Shen Yan's expression in confusion.
Shen Yan took a deep breath, scanned them again, raised her hand, snapped her fingers, and shouted, "Yin messengers, come out!"
As soon as Shen Yan uttered these words, the sky changed drastically, and layers of dark clouds converged. The demons looked up at the sky, their eyes wide open.
The large-headed demon still addressed Shen Yan politely, saying, "Great Immortal, please let me go. I have a thousand-year-old mother and a hundred-year-old child. You..."
"When you were committing evil, why didn't you consider how people felt?"
"..." The large-headed demon was speechless.
Shen Yan rolled her eyes at the large-headed demon, who had instantly accepted reality, then glanced at the Yin messengers descending with the dark clouds. She turned to Ye Yin and said, "Let's go."
"Go?" Ye Yin frowned slightly and gestured to Mu Anxiao, who was still dozing in her seat, saying, "What about her?"
"Her," Shen Yan followed Ye Yin's gesture, paused for a few seconds, and said, "You handle it, as long as she stays alive."
"I understand," Ye Yin nodded.
Then, Shen Yan disappeared.
Ye Yin looked at the approaching Yin messengers and said, "It's them."
"Did you capture these demons?" one of the Yin messengers asked.
Ye Yin shook her head. "Not me, it was that," she pointed to Mu Anxiao, "cultivator who dealt with them."
Upon hearing this, the Yin messenger became interested in the sleeping Mu Anxiao, "You mean that young man."
"Yes, I haven't killed anyone," Ye Yin quickly clarified.
The Yin messenger casually said, "I know." He then walked to Mu Anxiao's side, bent down, and called out, "Human, wake up."
Drowsiness swept over Mu Anxiao as he waved his hand. "Don't call me, what human? I am a Great Immortal." He smacked his lips groggily and continued to sleep.
The Yin messenger looked at Mu Anxiao's state with amusement, squatted down, and asked, "Young man, who are you cultivating with?"
