Chapter 109 Who Is This Deity

"No, that guy has a mouth, he can be reasoned with," the Yin Messenger said confidently.

"Alright, I'll see what tricks you can pull," Shen Yan said, sitting cross-legged on the ground.

"What's wrong?" the Yin Messenger asked, looking down.

Shen Yan took a sharp breath, put away the unused rope, and closed his eyes in silence.

The Yin Messenger, accustomed to being ignored by Shen Yan, happened to notice the blood seeping from Shen Yan's shoulder as he looked forward again. "So that's how it is," he thought. With that, he waved his arm, creating a boundary around Shen Yan.

"What are you doing?" Shen Yan asked.

The Yin Messenger smiled faintly. "I'm helping you. Only this way can you heal with peace of mind."

"Thanks," Shen Yan replied, moving his hands up and down.

"You're welcome," the Yin Messenger said, shifting his gaze to Mu Anxiao, who was chatting with the white-haired woman ahead.

Mu Anxiao said with a smile, "You don't recognize me? I'm the one who spoke to you yesterday... You're the ancestor of the sect, aren't you?"

The white-haired woman tilted her head, indicating she didn't understand Mu Anxiao's words.

Mu Anxiao continued to smile, trying to step back, but her legs wouldn't obey her.

Helpless, she went on, "I know, your mind was affected by someone..."

Unexpectedly, before she could finish, the white-haired woman's eyes suddenly snapped open, and she reached out towards Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao frowned, quickly dodged, then raised her hand and forcefully pushed away the white-haired woman's arm. She took half a step back, exclaiming in surprise, "Wow, I'm so strong." She glanced at her hand, which was emitting a dark glow.

"Go," the Yin Messenger shouted.

Mu Anxiao glanced at the Yin Messenger, nodded, and then looked at the white-haired woman who had suddenly stopped in her tracks. "A lady speaks, not fights. You're quite barbaric like this," she said.

"Awoo, awoo," the white-haired woman cried out twice and charged towards Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao stood her ground, a smile playing on her lips. "I'm not afraid of you." As she spoke, she quickly reached out and seized the white-haired woman by the neck.

The boy, about sixteen or seventeen, watched Mu Anxiao's movements in astonishment and shouted, "Bite her."

"You naughty child, you're too wicked," Mu Anxiao said. She released her grip on the woman's neck and, with a palm strike, hit her forehead. Then, she swiftly moved past her and ran to the boy. "You little brat, you've been hiding quite well." She grabbed him by his collar. "Now, you'd better restore her, or I'll make you pay."

"Are you a celestial or a demon?" the boy asked, looking at the dark mist around Mu Anxiao's hand.

"No matter who I am, I'm definitely stronger than the likes of you," Mu Anxiao said coldly.

"You're a demon," the boy declared and shouted, "Come."

Mu Anxiao smirked and instantly shifted her position so she was facing away from the boy. "I'd like to see if she bites you," she said, letting go and shoving him towards the white-haired woman.

The boy stumbled backward, his expression panicked.

The Yin Messenger's eyes widened the moment Mu Anxiao made her move.

Seeing the boy approach, the white-haired woman reached out and grabbed his arm. After two "awoo"s, she opened her mouth and bit his arm. xxs壹贰

Mu Anxiao remained calm. "Is that all the skill you have?"

"Mu Anxiao, you've gotten into big trouble," the Yin Messenger shouted, pointing at the boy. "Quick, save him!"
