"An hourglass doesn't represent anything?" Fake Feng Feng said, smashing the hourglass to the ground right in front of Mu Anxiao.
"Even if you destroy the hourglass, you won't change any facts. Just wait for your death."
"My death," Fake Feng Feng sneered. "Yes, once I'm backlashed, all my soul essence will be absorbed by Feng Feng’s body. By then, I'll be in her body, my soul annihilated, while she can continue to live. I do seem to be at a disadvantage."
"If you know you're at a disadvantage, then listen to me and get out," Mu Anxiao said coldly.
"If I truly listened to you, I wouldn't have any good outcome either. Rather than that, it's better to... perish together."
"What do you want to do?" Mu Anxiao asked coldly.
"If I die, she won't be able to live either," Fake Feng Feng said. She then pushed Mu Anxiao aside and looked at Feng Mu, who had stopped at the staircase. "Mom, she’s bothering me. I hope you’ll send her away."
Mu Anxiao half-turned to look at Feng Mu without speaking.
From that day on, Feng Feng had not had a normal conversation with Feng Mu, especially since Feng Feng no longer called her 'Mom.' Hearing the words of the fake Feng Feng before her, a hint of excitement appeared in her eyes. "Feng Feng, you've forgiven me."
"I heard you scolding Yan Ruoruo," Fake Feng Feng said. She turned and walked in front of Mu Anxiao, giving her a sinister smile before entering the room.
Mu Anxiao's eyes widened. She turned to look at the door that Fake Feng Feng had closed, and just as she was about to step forward, Feng Mu grabbed her arm.
"Go down."
Mu Anxiao was stunned. She turned to look at Feng Mu and said, "I haven't finished talking to her. Please wait a moment."
"Wait for what? Go down!" Feng Mu roared, gripping Mu Anxiao's arm tightly.
Downstairs, they heard Feng Mu's voice from upstairs. Everyone stopped what they were doing. Feng Dad gave the maid a look, and the maid nodded, walking to the staircase. "Madam, what's wrong?"
"Never mind," Feng Mu shouted, her face flushed.
The maid pursed her lips and dared not say another word.
Feng Dad sighed and gestured. "You continue with your work."
The maid nodded and walked towards the kitchen.
Mu Anxiao stubbornly held her ground against Feng Mu, saying, "Feng Feng might be in danger."
"If it weren't for your appearance, my Feng Feng wouldn't have become so sensitive," Feng Mu said, still holding Mu Anxiao's arm tightly.
Mu Anxiao did not dare to engage in too much with Feng Mu, knowing her own strength.
"Hurry up," Feng Mu said again.
In the room, Feng Feng leaned against the doorframe, deliberately calling out in a tearful voice, "Mom, she just hit me." As she spoke, she walked to the bedside table, bent down, and took out the sleeping pills prepared, a smile curving her lips.
Mu Anxiao, hearing the second evil soul's strategy, thought of the sinister smile on his lips as he passed by her earlier. She was anxious.
"You..."
Unexpectedly, as soon as she uttered a word, Feng Mu suddenly let go and, just like that day, raised her hand and slapped Mu Anxiao forcefully and without warning.
Just like that day, Mu Anxiao's face was suddenly turned away.
"You bully my son, and now you're bullying my daughter. What are you trying to do?" Feng Mu said coldly.
Mu Anxiao came to her senses, suppressed her tears, and looked at Feng Mu, saying, "Have you had enough? Can I go to her now?"
"You persistent girl, are you done bothering us?" Feng Mu glared at Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao's heart was filled with worry for Feng Feng. Just as she was about to speak, Fake Feng Feng's voice came from the room again: "Mom, I don't want to live anymore. She's bullying me. If she doesn't leave, push her down."
Feng Mu hesitated.
Mu Anxiao turned to look at the room door. Just as she was about to speak, a purple light shot through the door and passed her, entering Feng Mu's body. Immediately, her brow furrowed, and before she could react, Feng Mu once again grabbed her arm forcefully. "Go down."
In the instant Feng Mu coldly uttered those two words, Mu Anxiao's eyes widened. Then, before she could react again, Feng Mu forcefully flung her towards the staircase.
In the room, Fake Feng Feng poured all the accumulated sleeping pills into her mouth, then opened the window and said, "Let's die together, Feng Feng." With that, she stepped onto a low stool, walked onto the windowsill, and jumped.
At the same moment she jumped, Mu Anxiao tumbled down the stairs.
Immediately, Feng Mu screamed, and the purple light shot out of her body. She ran downstairs.
Mu Anxiao fell at the bottom of the staircase.
Feng Sen, who had just returned, witnessed Mu Anxiao rolling down the stairs and stood there in shock.
Feng Qi rushed to Mu Anxiao's side and knelt down, asking, "Are you alright?" He gently touched Mu Anxiao's arm.
Feng Mu stood on the steps, looking down at the bloody gash on Mu Anxiao's head, unable to speak.
Feng Sen swallowed and quickly stepped forward to look at his mother. "Mom, why did you hit her again?"
Feng Dad, along with the others, stood up and walked to the staircase. Feng Dad looked at Feng Sen and asked, "What happened?"
"Last time, because of me, my mom hit this girl. Today, again..."
"I'm fine," Mu Anxiao said, enduring the intense pain, her mind still on Feng Feng. "Hurry and check on Feng Feng."
Feng Mu hadn't expected Mu Anxiao to still be concerned about Feng Feng at this moment. She lowered her voice and said, "I'm sorry."
Mu Anxiao stood up with Feng Qi's help and said, "It's not your fault." With that, she shook off Feng Qi's hand, held onto the railing, and hurried upstairs past Feng Mu.
Feng Yan looked at Mu Anxiao's retreating back in surprise, then turned to Feng Mu and said, "Mom, you went too far."
"I didn't mean to," Feng Mu said, lowering her head, and turned to follow Mu Anxiao.
The wolf demon, holding meat and gnawing on it, watched the scene above as if nothing had happened, remaining silent.
Shi Momo said, "Your sister is in such a state, and you don't even care."
Upon hearing this, the wolf demon paused, then said with a greasy mouth, "To clarify, she's my sister, not my elder sister."
"The aunt just said she was your sister, why didn't you refute it?"
"I didn't react in time," the wolf demon said. He walked to Feng Qi's side and said, "Your sister might really be in trouble. You should go check."
"How are you so sure my sister is in trouble?" Feng Qi asked.
The wolf demon continued to act nonchalantly, eating as he spoke, "I heard a sound of something landing outside your house. I guess your sister jumped off the building."
"No..."
The wolf demon grabbed Feng Qi's arm with his greasy hand and whispered, "I'm a wolf demon. I can hear movements within several hundred miles. Hurry and go check." After saying that, he released his hand.
Feng Qi hadn't taken it seriously at first, but after hearing the wolf demon speak, his heart sank. He rushed out of the house without even putting on his shoes, pushing Feng Sen aside.
