Chapter 313 Falsely Claiming 'Auntie'

Mu Anxiao took the phone and asked, "How do I see it?"

"Just tap on the messages, and you'll see it," Shi Momo said, then suddenly grabbed Mu Anxiao's arm.

Mu Anxiao was startled and asked, "What are you doing?"

"What can I do? Hurry up and go. When you get back, ask me anything you want, and I'll answer everything for you." After saying that, Shi Momo pushed Mu Anxiao out of her house and slammed the door shut without another word.

Mu Anxiao took half a step back, looking fearfully at the anti-theft door that had almost hit her nose again. She blinked and turned towards the elevator.

Downstairs, Zhang Yan sat on a bench, looking up at the tall building, and muttered, "Has that guy found her? But, speaking of which, will she be kicked out if she just goes up like that?" He glanced at the time on his phone. "There doesn't seem to be any demonic energy around."

Just then, Mu Anxiao walked out. "Can you come with me somewhere?"

"Were you kicked out?" Zhang Yan asked as he got up and walked in front of Mu Anxiao.

"No, she asked me to pick up her sister from school," Mu Anxiao said, handing her phone to Zhang Yan. "She said to look myself, but I don't know how."

Zhang Yan frowned slightly, took the phone, and asked, "Have you sensed the second evil spirit?"

"No," Mu Anxiao replied, then thought, "I'm worried he has a plan, so I must protect Shi Momo."

"You protect Shi Momo," Zhang Yan sneered. "You're really incredibly noble. Protecting her, I think you're just idle."

"You could say that, but I don't think the second evil spirit will let her go."

"You're so sure," Zhang Yan said, opening the phone.

"Yes, the second evil spirit even told me his motive, so I need to be prepared."

"You're really bored and looking for trouble, but this isn't dangerous, so I don't object," Zhang Yan said, looking at the message in the message bar. "I know the specific location, let's go."

"Can you help her tell her sister's teacher later?" Mu Anxiao said quietly.

"You're asking her to help her take leave too?" Zhang Yan exclaimed, tilting his head. "She's using you. I really don't know if you're pretending to be stupid or are genuinely stupid."

"Those evil spirits invade by relying on a kind of negative energy aura from them. If I change Shi Momo, naturally the evil spirits' schemes will fail. Her sister also has an evil spirit in her body. As long as her sister is happy, that evil spirit will come out. This way, it would be killing two birds with one stone," Mu Anxiao explained her thoughts.

Zhang Yan couldn't help but smile. "Mu Anxiao, Mu Anxiao, you really think things through thoroughly, but let me tell you the truth," he said, gesturing around. "There's no demonic energy here."

"Maybe he's hiding it," Mu Anxiao insisted.

Zhang Yan sneered. "Since you got injured, has your judgment also deteriorated? You..."

"If we give up now, wouldn't that play into the second evil spirit's hands? Perhaps," Mu Anxiao said, "if we leave, he'll come again."

"I can't argue with you," Zhang Yan said, turning his head away.

"Then let's go," Mu Anxiao said, turning and walking in a random direction.

Zhang Yan sighed and said, "You're going the wrong way."

Hearing this, Mu Anxiao turned back. "You lead the way."

"This time, I'm going with you. If it's wrong, don't cry."

"It won't be wrong," Mu Anxiao said firmly.

Zhang Yan nodded, turned, and led the way.

An hour later, Mu Anxiao and Zhang Yan arrived at the destination given by Shi Momo.

Mu Anxiao looked at the school gate and asked, "Why is this school gate made of iron?"

Zhang Yan got out of the car and walked to Mu Anxiao's side. "This is the back gate."

"The back gate? No, we have to find the main gate," Mu Anxiao said anxiously.

"You're really taking this seriously," Zhang Yan said, calmly dialing the phone number Shi Momo had given.

After a few beeps, a man's voice came from the other end. Zhang Yan glanced at Mu Anxiao, then deliberately used Mu Anxiao's voice and said, "Hello, I am Yan Ruoruo's aunt. Yan Ruoruo called me saying she was feeling unwell, and I want to request leave for her."

"You are Yan Ruoruo's aunt, perfect," the man said, sitting at his desk and looking at Feng Feng, who had placed a stack of assignment books on the desk. "Wait for me at the back gate. I'll have my student pick you up, and I'll talk to you about her situation later."

"Huh?" Zhang Yan was surprised.

Mu Anxiao looked at Zhang Yan's sudden change in expression with confusion, saying nothing.

Zhang Yan looked at Mu Anxiao with a constipated expression and asked, "What could be her situation?"

"You'll know when you come in," the man said, then hung up the phone and looked up at Feng Feng. "Feng Feng, help the teacher go to the back gate and pick up Yan Ruoruo's parent."

"No," Feng Feng refused outright and turned to leave the office.

The man stared in surprise at Feng Feng's retreating back and muttered, "Hmm, why does Feng Feng look so strange today?" He then turned to the boy who was being punished and said stiffly, "Go, pick them up at the back gate."

"I can go, but can you not involve my parents?"

"No, you're skipping class and you still have a reason? This teacher generally doesn't like to involve parents, but I was forced to by you, an unpromising kid. Go, no conditions."

"Got it." The boy compromised helplessly, turned, and deliberately walked slowly out of the office.

"Run," the man shouted.

The boy flinched and ran out.

At the back gate, Zhang Yan looked at the empty street beside him, then at the hanging camera. "Um, I won't go. You go by yourself," he said, handing the phone to Mu Anxiao.

"How should I handle it?"

"Remember my words: just say 'yes,' 'got it,' and 'thank you, teacher.' Other than that, just go along with him, but make sure not to miss the point about taking leave," Zhang Yan said, pointing to a nearby restaurant. "I'll wait for you over there."

"Okay." Mu Anxiao didn't dare to ask anything more of Zhang Yan and had to agree.

A few minutes later, the boy ran rapidly to the back gate. After saying a couple of words to the uncle at the reception room, the uncle came out, opened the iron gate a crack, and looked at Mu Anxiao, who was standing still with her head down. "Are you Yan Ruoruo's parent?"

Mu Anxiao looked up at the uncle and nodded.

"Come in," the uncle beckoned.

Then, Mu Anxiao cooperatively walked in through the gap. The boy stepped forward, looking at Mu Anxiao with disbelief. "Are you Yan Ruoruo's aunt?"

"Mmm," Mu Anxiao nodded.

"Impossible, right? You're about the same age as her, aren't you?" the boy asked, scrutinizing Mu Anxiao.
