Mu Anxiao narrowed her eyes, searching for an opening on the wolf demon. Then, a fluorescence appeared on its abdomen.
"That's it," she said. The moment she took a step forward, the wolf demon swung its arm forcefully.
Mu Anxiao clearly saw a dark light flying towards her and swiftly dodged.
"Not bad. You weren't capable at all back then."
"I'm not who I was back then, and you're not who you were, wolf demon." As she spoke, she dodged the rapidly approaching black light repeatedly, then swiftly threw her rope at it, but it dodged.
Helplessly, she stopped her movements, quickly turning to face the wolf demon that had darted behind her. "I will never let you get close to Shen Yan's descendant."
"That's not up to you," the wolf demon grinned sinisterly, and with a swish, it brushed past Mu Anxiao and darted into the teaching building.
Just as Mu Anxiao turned around, annoyed, the door to the rooftop was pushed open.
In the next instant, she inadvertently met Feng Qishi's peach blossom eyes, identical to Shen Yan's, and blurted out, "No way, what a coincidence."
Feng Qishi paused, closed the door with his hands behind his back, and walked past Mu Anxiao to the railing.
Mu Anxiao slowly turned, watching Feng Qishi's back, and swallowed, tears beginning to well up in her eyes.
Feng Qishi squinted and asked, "Who are you?"
Hearing this, Mu Anxiao was startled and asked, "You can see me?"
Feng Qishi turned to Mu Anxiao, frowning. "The way you ask that, I really don't know how to answer. Or perhaps," he said, stepping closer to Mu Anxiao, "you're not human?"
Mu Anxiao's nerves tensed. "Of course I'm human. I'm just wondering... you can clearly see me, so why are you ignoring me?"
"Your clothes are really quite unfashionable," Feng Qishi said, scanning Mu Anxiao from head to toe.
Mu Anxiao's eyes darkened. "My fashion sense has nothing to do with you." She thought to herself, *The wolf demon must have dispelled my invisibility spell. Damn it.*
"What are you thinking about?" Feng Qishi asked, stopping in front of Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao deliberately took half a step back and said, "Nothing. Um..." She pursed her lips. "Is your name Feng Qishi?"
"I won't like you," Feng Qishi suddenly said.
Mu Anxiao frowned and quickly looked up at Feng Qishi's infuriating expression, huffing, "You're too narcissistic. I..."
"I know," Feng Qishi narrowed his eyes. "You've been paying attention to me, but I don't like female classmates like you. Stay away from me."
Mu Anxiao was truly taken aback by what Shen Yan's descendant had become. She took a step back and said impatiently, "Leave."
Feng Qishi glanced at Mu Anxiao, turned, and walked back to the rooftop railing. "Tell me, if I jump from here right now," he squinted, "will you be the one who killed me?"
Mu Anxiao said indifferently, "Stop trying to scare me."
"My mom says I have a terminal illness and will die soon. Anyway," Feng Qishi gripped the railing, "whether I die sooner or later, I'll die. I think death is a release for me."
"You wouldn't dare," Mu Anxiao said firmly.
Feng Qishi's lips curved upwards. He released his grip on the railing, turned, and walked a few steps closer to Mu Anxiao, saying, "You really are thick-skinned. If another girl heard me say that, they'd run away."
