Chapter 254 Sending a Text Message Notification

"My brother got mad and left, so where did he go?" the disheveled girl asked deliberately.

Feng Mu didn't answer her question. Instead, she leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes.

Seeing that Feng Mu ignored her, the girl narrowed her eyes and sent a text message to Feng Qishi without thinking.

In the man's car, Feng Qishi's phone vibrated. He glanced at Mu Anxiao, who was staring out the window and saying nothing, then took out his phone from his pocket and opened it. It was a text from his sister: Brother, Shi Momo complained to Mom, saying she'll be here tonight at six to see Mom discipline you. Be careful. You must reply to me. After reading the message, Feng Qishi turned off his phone. A second later, the girl sent another one.

Feng Qishi clicked on the text message and immediately replied with two words: "Thank you."

In Feng Mu's car, the disheveled girl looked at the two words Feng Qishi replied with, and a smirk crossed her lips. She thought: As expected, he'll talk to me if I mention paying him back. With that, she turned off her phone and stuck out her tongue at Feng Mu.

"Feng Feng, you're seventeen already, and you're still so childish, just like your brother."

"We're not the same. You said she's not your biological daughter, but I am," Feng Feng said flippantly.

Hearing this, Feng Mu's eyes immediately opened, and she turned to glare at Feng Feng, saying, "Only I can say that. If you say it again, I'll deal with you." She pointed at Feng Feng's face.

Feng Feng said helplessly, "Got it."

"Good that you know," Feng Mu said, glancing out the window. "Is the money enough?"

"It's enough," Feng Feng nodded.

"You too. Since you have pocket money, why don't you repay your brother? If you continue like this, your brother will forget you," Feng Mu said coldly.

"Mom, you're strange too. You say you dislike him, but you always side with him. If you ask me, you should just do a paternity test with him. This way is meaningless."

"No. If I wanted to do it, I would have done it long ago."

From the time Feng Qishi was born, Feng Mu had been convinced that he was not her biological son. This thought drove her to deceive herself again and again. After so many years, she had thought about doing a paternity test with him, but due to pride, she dared not. She was afraid that if he turned out to be her biological son, it would be too awkward.

"Fine, you can keep deceiving yourself as long as you don't get tired," Feng Feng said, then started playing a game.

Feng Mu glared at Feng Feng and once again cast her gaze out the window.

In the man's car... Feng Qishi stared at his phone screen for a while, thinking: Won't that guy be tricking me?

"What are you thinking about?" Mu Anxiao turned to Feng Qishi and asked.

"None of your business," Feng Qishi retorted, glancing at Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao ignored him and looked at the man driving in front, asking, "What's your name?"

"Why are you asking his name?" Feng Qishi asked dismissively.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi and said, "It's none of your business."

"My name is Yan Shan. What are yours?" Yan Shan asked while driving.

Feng Qishi exclaimed, "My name is Feng Qishi, and she's Mu Anxiao. But you don't need to remember her name, just remember me."

Yan Shan silently repeated their names and smiled, "Are you classmates?"

"We're not classmates. This guy is my nanny," Feng Qishi said casually.

Ever since Mu Anxiao first met Feng Qishi, he had said that she was his family's nanny, but she didn't know what a nanny meant.
