Chapter 269 Evil Souls and Girls

Mu Anxiao glared at Feng Qishi, turning her face away.

Feng Qishi snorted, then turned to look at a couple walking into the elevator, lowering his gaze.

The couple treated them as if they were invisible, the woman speaking to the man while staring directly at his face.

Mu Anxiao openly looked at the woman, then glanced at the man who remained expressionless and silent, clearing her throat and asking, "Are we there yet?"

"We're here." As soon as Feng Qishi finished speaking, the elevator stopped at the floor they needed to exit, and he and Mu Anxiao stepped out.

Then, the moment the elevator doors closed, Mu Anxiao said, "That woman is just like you."

"Isn't it rude of you to observe people like that?" Feng Qishi looked down at Mu Anxiao and said.

"Talkative, just like you," Mu Anxiao said, pointing at Feng Qishi's face. "Don't follow me."

"I can't go home right now," Feng Qishi said.

Mu Anxiao looked coldly at Feng Qishi's face and said, "If you can't go home, go back to school. In any case, don't follow me."

"Where are you planning to go?"

"Straight ahead."

"Big sister, you don't even know the way, and you're telling me not to follow you? You're truly hilarious," Feng Qishi said, scanning Mu Anxiao's indifferent expression.

"Whether I'm hilarious or not has nothing to do with you. I have a mouth below my nose, and I'll ask myself," Mu Anxiao said, walking forward according to her intuition.

Feng Qishi raised his eyebrows and muttered, "Hilarious is hilarious, and you broke your promise." After saying that, he still followed Mu Anxiao's pace.

Before long, Mu Anxiao, after persistently asking for directions, walked out of the mall. Feng Qishi followed behind her and said, "They already gave you attitude, and you can still ask? You're really something."

"Let them give attitude. I achieved my goal anyway," Mu Anxiao said, tilting her head to look at the clear blue sky and frowning. "It really is quiet."

"Isn't quiet a good thing? How about we go have some fun?" Feng Qishi sidled up to Mu Anxiao and said.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi, lightly tapped the dial with her finger, and the pointer on the dial began to spin. "Evil Spirit."

"Did you speak to me?" Feng Qishi turned his head to ask.

Mu Anxiao walked in the direction of the pointer without even looking at him.

Feng Qishi, without a second thought, followed Mu Anxiao once again.

As they walked, Mu Anxiao led Feng Qishi to a dead-end alley that was deserted. She stopped and looked at the pitch-black alley ahead before turning around and saying, "Can you please stop following me?"

"No, if I want to learn from you, I have to follow you. Otherwise, I'd be letting myself down," Feng Qishi insisted stubbornly.

Mu Anxiao sighed helplessly and said, "Don't get in the way." With that, she turned to face the dark alley and called out, "I know you're in there. Come out."

"Haha, you actually sensed me."

Hearing the familiar voice, Mu Anxiao's eyes widened sharply. Then, she turned her face and hurriedly said, "Hide over there."

"Okay," Feng Qishi replied, quickly ducking into a nearby corner.

Mu Anxiao frowned slightly as she looked at the girl slowly emerging from the alley. "I didn't expect you to be so bold."

"I am an Evil Spirit. I use the body of whoever has the strongest aura. However," the girl shook her head, revealing a sinister smile. "I have you to thank for this. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have found a suitable body so quickly."
