Chapter 273 Cousins

"Don't believe him. I'll deal with it when I get back. You don't need to worry about it," Feng Mu said, picking up her coffee cup.

The auntie glanced around conspiratorially and replied, "Okay, I understand."

Feng Mu hung up the phone without another word, her eyes narrowing. "Feng Qishi, you dare to defy me? Very well." She then picked up her cup and took a sip of coffee.

"What's wrong, Auntie?" Shi Momo asked, seated right beside Feng Mu.

Feng Mu set down her coffee cup. "That guy brought that village girl home. It seems," she glanced at Shi Momo, "he's deliberately testing my patience."

"Auntie, don't be unhappy. Enjoy our afternoon tea. When we get back, I'll deal with him for you."

"You're so good, Momo. If I hadn't met you, I really wouldn't know what to do with that Feng Qishi kid," Feng Mu said, picking up a small fork to eat a pastry.

"Auntie, I think Feng Qishi has many issues. I'll help you correct them," Shi Momo said with a confident expression.

"Good, Auntie will leave him to you," Feng Mu said, pursing her lips with a smile and sighing. "Momo, you're truly the best. My younger daughter isn't exactly a pushover either."

"Is your younger daughter studying nursing?" Shi Momo asked curiously.

"Yes. Her grades weren't good, so she didn't go to high school. Who knows how she's doing now?" Feng Mu sighed after speaking.

"You mentioned she has a bad temper. Wouldn't she get bullied at school?" Shi Momo asked deliberately.

"No, my daughter doesn't cause trouble."

"That's true. Oh, right," Shi Momo said after a moment of thought, "I have a younger cousin who might be Feng Feng's classmate."

"It couldn't be that coincidental, could it?" Feng Mu put down her coffee cup.

"I don't know. I just heard... it seems to be Feng Feng's school, and her age is the same as Feng Feng's," Shi Momo said, taking a bite of a pastry.

"Sister."

Hearing the voice, Shi Momo casually put down the small fork in her hand, turned her head to look at the girl who had stopped beside her, and was a little surprised. "I was just talking about you, and here you are." As she spoke, she stood up.

Feng Mu looked up and smiled at the girl standing in front of Shi Momo. "Momo, who is this?"

"Auntie, this is the sister I was telling you about," Shi Momo said, patting the girl's shoulder. "Hurry and greet Auntie."

"Hello, Auntie," the girl said with a smile. She mentally addressed the malevolent spirit suppressed within her, *This must be Feng Feng's mother, right?*

Feng Mu nodded with a smile. "Hello."

*Yes,* the malevolent spirit responded.

*Then the person you're looking for must be in her house,* the girl communicated mentally.

*Alright, stop talking to me. Talk to her,* the malevolent spirit instructed.

The girl mentally acknowledged and then looked up, smiling at Feng Mu, who had risen to her feet. She remained silent.

Shi Momo glanced at the suddenly quiet girl and quickly introduced her. "Auntie, this is my cousin." She then turned to the girl and asked, "Right, you're also studying nursing. Do you know Feng Feng?"

"Feng Feng," the girl repeated, grinning. "Feng Feng is my good friend, but we just had a falling out."

"Why?"

"Because," the girl said, her eyes flicking, "she fell for my boyfriend. My boyfriend didn't like her, but she pestered him. Then I found out, and I said a few things to her, and we parted ways."

"Feng Feng has someone she likes?" Feng Mu asked, surprised.

"Yes, Auntie. Didn't she tell you?" the girl asked in a pitiful tone.
