Chapter 713 The Character 'Qiu'

"I told her the steps, and she understood them right away," Feng Qishi said.

Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao looked at Feng Qishi and asked, "Can I take that as you taking credit?"

"You can," Feng Qishi nodded slightly.

Mu Anxiao shot Feng Qishi a fierce glare and fell silent.

The red-clothed rabbit spirit, while eating, glanced at both of them and said, "I don't think we can trust what that vine spirit said."

"Why do you suddenly say that?" Mu Anxiao asked deliberately.

The red-clothed rabbit spirit lowered her eyes and said, "I don't think we can trust him. Anyway, I just feel he's very cunning and unreliable."

"You're actually right about that," Mu Anxiao chuckled.

"Then why are you still cooperating with him?" the red-clothed rabbit spirit asked.

Mu Anxiao frowned and pointed at Feng Qishi, "It's him, not me."

"I'm doing it for myself," Feng Qishi said, looking at the finger Mu Anxiao was still pointing at him. "Take your finger off me."

Mu Anxiao didn't say anything and obediently lowered her finger.

"For yourself?" The red-clothed rabbit spirit, as if by default, couldn't quite grasp Feng Qishi's thoughts.

Feng Qishi was too lazy to explain further. "Alright, eat your carrot. If you don't eat it, you can just go back to sleep." He held up two fingers.

Seeing this, the red-clothed rabbit spirit shut her mouth.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi and said, "I'll leave that vine spirit fellow to you."

"This is the best opportunity for you to capture him. Why didn't you?" Feng Qishi asked.

Mu Anxiao looked at Feng Qishi's serious expression, then at Yan, who was staring at her, and said, "I'm just a good-for-nothing. How can I capture him?"

"Ask me to capture him," Feng Qishi said naturally.

Mu Anxiao froze, her mouth twitching. "You want me to beg you?" she pointed at Feng Qishi, shaking her head. "Impossible."

"Then I won't bother," Feng Qishi shrugged.

"You wouldn't dare," Mu Anxiao said sternly.

"Beg me, and I'll help him deal with the Rabbit Queen, and then help you capture him. Two birds with one stone," Feng Qishi raised an eyebrow at Mu Anxiao.

"Alright, I beg you," Mu Anxiao clasped her hands together.

"Good," Feng Qishi smiled. "It's happily decided then."

"I don't think this is that simple," Mu Anxiao said.

Feng Qishi nodded. "I know. It's just that some things need to be told from the beginning."

"You have a way," Mu Anxiao's eyes lit up.

"I do, but I can't tell you yet. I want to give you a surprise," Feng Qishi smiled.

Mu Anxiao wasn't interested in the word 'surprise'. Looking at Feng Qishi's mysterious expression, she was speechless.

Yan pursed her lips and said, "Um, can you help me?"

Upon hearing this, Feng Qishi looked at Yan and asked, "Why should I help you?"

"If you help me, I can... help you find demons," Yan said.

Mu Anxiao frowned, looking at Yan's mysterious demeanor, and asked, "What do you want to do?"

Yan lowered her eyelids and said, "I heard... Shen Yan has an ability that can allow people to see the past. So," she looked up at Feng Qishi again, "I hope you can help me."

"You know about this?" Feng Qishi exclaimed.

Yan nodded slightly.

"You didn't hear this from your grandmother, did you?" Mu Anxiao asked.

Yan looked at Mu Anxiao and hummed in agreement.

Mu Anxiao's mouth twitched. "Your grandmother really tells you everything." As she spoke, she glanced at Feng Qishi.

Feng Qishi said, "I haven't mastered this yet. I'll try it later."

"Thank you," Yan nodded.

"Why do you want him to help you?" Mu Anxiao asked without thinking.

Yan said, "If you won't tell me how my father died, then I'll see it clearly myself. That's acceptable, right?"

Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao was startled. She reached out and grabbed Yan's arm, saying, "You need to look forward. The past is the past, and it has nothing to do with you. Give up."

"What's wrong with you?" Yan asked, looking confused at Mu Anxiao's sudden agitation.

Mu Anxiao's eyes darted away. "I'm fine. I just think there are some things you don't need to look back at. It's meaningless. Besides, it's better not to know some things. The more you know, the more troublesome it gets. Why would you create more trouble for yourself!"

"I will do it," Yan said firmly.

Seeing Yan's determination, Mu Anxiao let go of her hand and said helplessly, "Fine, as you wish."

Feng Qishi looked at Mu Anxiao and asked, "Are you hiding something from everyone?"

"Let's focus on what's in front of us. We still have a lot to deal with regarding the rabbits," Mu Anxiao said impatiently.

"I wonder how the great demon is doing?" the red-clothed rabbit spirit said after finishing the last piece of carrot.

Mu Anxiao shook her head.

Feng Qishi said, "Perhaps he has already gone in."

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi but said nothing.

As Feng Qishi had said, Piao had already entered the room.

"You know," he said, walking to the couch and looking down at the Rabbit Queen who had stood up, "I know."

The Rabbit Queen nodded. "Yes, Mu Anxiao said you suspect me."

"Yes, I suspect you of being disloyal to me," Piao stated directly.

The Rabbit Queen's face sank. "You can kill me, but before that, I hope you can let me resolve something."

"What is it?" Piao asked.

"To control humans and turn them into my slaves, even for just one day. Is that possible?" the Rabbit Queen asked Piao with a pleading look.

Piao lowered his eyes and stared at the Rabbit Queen for a few seconds. "Back then, I gave you a portrait of Mu Anxiao. Why didn't you help me find Mu Anxiao?"

When the Rabbit Queen heard this, she averted her gaze. "I looked, but I couldn't find her."

"The portrait?" Piao asked.

"It was lost," the Rabbit Queen said softly.

"Why was it lost?" Piao asked again.

The Rabbit Queen bit her lip. "Well, a rabbit from here lost it when they went out to search for someone, and then I killed that rabbit."

"So, you were the one who killed them," Piao suddenly said.

The Rabbit Queen was taken aback. "What do you mean by that?"

"It means nothing. From now on, admit to your own killings and don't blame me," Piao pointed at the Rabbit Queen.

"I... I understand," the Rabbit Queen nodded slightly.

Then, Piao thought about what Mu Anxiao had said and continued, "Have all the matters you mentioned to me before been resolved?"

"Huh?" the Rabbit Queen exclaimed in surprise.

Piao patiently said, "I mean, if they haven't been resolved, is there anything you need my help with? If so, tell me, and I'll help you."

"You're willing to help me?" the Rabbit Queen asked, her eyes wide with surprise, pointing at herself.

Piao nodded.

The Rabbit Queen smiled. "All my matters have been resolved. However, I'm very happy to have your words."

"Next time you need help with something," Piao said, "tell me. I'll help you if I can, and if I can't, I'll... support you."
