Chapter 442 The Master-Disciple Relationship

Feng Qishi said urgently, "I am not like that man."

"You are not," Mu Anxiao pointed at Feng Qishi, "that man looks older than you."

Feng Qishi was speechless.

Mu Anxiao casually crossed her arms in front of her chest and said, "Let's not talk about this anymore. How much are you going to prepare for me?"

"I'm just a student," Feng Qishi said weakly.

Mu Anxiao raised an eyebrow. "I know you're a student, and I know you don't have money, but you will have money in the future."

"Huh?" Feng Qishi was startled. "I just said that casually in front of that woman. You don't have to take it seriously."

Mu Anxiao glanced at Zhang Yan and said, "From today onwards, you are my disciple. Also, before you leave, you'd better sever your attachment to this place, otherwise," she shook her head, "if I want to take you, they won't let you go."

"That strict?" Feng Qishi was surprised.

"What did you think? Things are tricky," Mu Anxiao said with a feigned serious expression.

"Then..." Feng Qishi hesitated for a few seconds and said, "Should we have a formal disciple-acceptance ceremony?"

"This..." Mu Anxiao glanced at Zhang Yan again. "It's not necessary. Anyway, just wait for my notification. I think your mother won't make any big moves for the time being."

"That's true," Feng Qishi nodded.

Mu Anxiao looked at Zhang Yan, hesitated for a moment, and said, "I'm going out for a bit."

"Can't you say it here?" Feng Qishi asked.

Mu Anxiao turned back to Feng Qishi and paused before saying, "I am your master. You must listen to me. For now, you just need to rest well."

Feng Qishi pointed at his leg and said, "Mu the fool, you broke my leg. If you do things like this behind my back, I'm afraid you owe me for my..." he said, "...leg!"

"I am your master."

"I admit from the bottom of my heart that you are my master, but on the surface, we are still friends," Feng Qishi said to himself.

Mu Anxiao's expression stiffened. "Feng Qishi, don't you know that curiosity killed the cat?"

"I know, but I'm not a cat," Feng Qishi smiled.

Mu Anxiao gasped and instantly dismissed the idea of having memory of Feng Qishi. "Fine. Even if you heard it, you can't do anything about it."

"Mhm," Feng Qishi blinked his eyes.

Mu Anxiao glared at Feng Qishi and walked up to Zhang Yan. "I have a new mission, and it requires your cooperation."

"I can," Feng Qishi raised his hand.

Mu Anxiao frowned and turned to look at Feng Qishi, smiling. "What can a cripple like you do?"

"I'm willing to cooperate with you. Can you heal my leg?" Feng Qishi asked excitedly.

Mu Anxiao and Zhang Yan frowned at the same time and shook their heads.

"I don't want to stay here anymore. You guys..."

"Feng Qishi, this is not something you can meddle in. Can you please stop talking?" Mu Anxiao said sternly.

Feng Qishi closed his mouth.

Zhang Yan sighed. Mu Anxiao turned back to Zhang Yan and said, "I'm leaving. You watch this guy."

"I have something else to do," Zhang Yan said quickly.

Mu Anxiao hesitated, then turned to Feng Qishi and asked, "Do you want to get some fresh air?"

"This?" Feng Qishi pointed at his leg.

"Zhang Yan, please put him in a wheelchair. Be careful not to injure his leg," Mu Anxiao said, looking at Feng Qishi's leg. "Or, you can use your magic to protect his leg."

"Okay, I understand. But you need to put him back in bed when you return."

"Alright."

Zhang Yan glanced deliberately at Feng Qishi and said, "We'll be in touch by phone."

"Mhm," Mu Anxiao agreed.

Ten minutes later, Zhang Yan left with the trash. Anxiao pushed the wheelchair out of the ward and happened to run into Feng's father.

"What are you doing?" Feng's father asked, walking forward hurriedly.

Mu Anxiao looked down at Feng Qishi and said, "What's the point of lying in bed all day? Going out for a walk is not a bad thing."

"I asked her to push me out," Feng Qishi said coldly.

Feng's father frowned and looked down at Feng Qishi's leg. "Your leg probably can't be put on the ground, right?"

"Everyone's constitution is different. Besides, I haven't put my feet on the ground."

Mu Anxiao remained silent.

Feng's father glanced at Mu Anxiao's face and said, "I'll go with you."

"No need. You'll feel stifled if you follow me," Feng Qishi said, turning his face slightly. "Let's go."

"Oh," Mu Anxiao responded, looking at Feng's father. "Please let us pass."

"Mhm," Feng's father naturally moved aside.

Mu Anxiao then pushed Feng Qishi towards the elevator.

"Where are you taking me?" Feng Qishi asked.

As they walked, Mu Anxiao asked, "Have you had your injection yet?"

"Mhm," Feng Qishi nodded.

"Okay, we're going to Hu Yuan's ward. This way, I can look after you and him at the same time," Mu Anxiao said calmly.

"You're really busy," Feng Qishi said, his eyes darkening. "You really care about him."

"So-so," Mu Anxiao replied casually.

Feng Qishi slanted his eyes.

Soon, Mu Anxiao pushed Feng Qishi to Hu Yuan's ward. Upon seeing Feng Qishi, Hu Yuan sat up quickly and said, "Why did you bring him here?" He looked at Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi and remained silent.

Feng Qishi expressed his displeasure. "Why aren't you welcoming me?"

"I want to rest. What are you doing here?" Hu Yuan said with disdain.

Feng Qishi's face stiffened. He turned to Mu Anxiao and said, "Take me away. They don't welcome me."

"You just had surgery. It's fine to stay here, but going out might catch a cold," Mu Anxiao said, patting Feng Qishi's shoulder. "Alright, you stay here. I'm going out for a bit."

"You're leaving me alone with... him?" Feng Qishi pointed at Hu Yuan. "Are you crazy?"

"What's the big deal? I'm leaving," Mu Anxiao said, turning and walking out of the ward.

Feng Qishi looked at Hu Yuan, who was glaring at him, with an awkward expression. "I knew I shouldn't have let Mu the fool bring me here."

"My IV drip is not finished yet, so I can't pour water for you. You'll have to manage," Hu Yuan said, lying down and closing his eyes.

Feng Qishi opened his mouth, not knowing what to say.

At this moment, Mu Anxiao left the ward, took out her phone from her pocket, hesitated, and went to the stairwell. She picked up the phone and dialed Zhang Yan.

At the hospital entrance, Zhang Yan took out his vibrating phone from his pocket and answered, "Did you arrange it?"

"Mhm, where are you?"

"I'm at the hospital entrance. Come find me," Zhang Yan said.

Mu Anxiao agreed with a "Okay" and ran downstairs.

In a short while, Mu Anxiao met up with Zhang Yan.

"Where did you settle Feng Qishi?" Zhang Yan asked.

Mu Anxiao stated directly, "I sent him to Hu Yuan's place."

"Why?" Zhang Yan asked, puzzled.

"They are quite similar. Perhaps they can chat well together," Mu Anxiao said based on her intuition.
