As Feng Qishi watched Mu Anxiao stare at Bing'er, then looked at Bing'er who was desperately shaking the woman, wishing to wake her up, he hesitated. He reached out and nudged Mu Anxiao's arm. He intentionally did not speak in front of Bing'er and stood up.
Mu Anxiao, nudged by Feng Qishi, immediately withdrew her gaze fixed on Bing'er's face and looked up at Feng Qishi.
Feng Qishi beckoned, signaling for Mu Anxiao to get up.
Seeing this, Mu Anxiao glanced at Bing'er again, pondered for a moment, and then stood up. Before she could speak, Bing'er looked up at her and cried, "It's all your fault."
Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao's body stiffened. She looked down at Bing'er, who was placing all the blame on her, and asked, "Isn't it? What does it have to do with me?"
"Sister is already pitiful enough, why do you still treat her like this?" Bing'er cried.
Mu Anxiao hated seeing children cry in front of her the most. Looking at Bing'er's tear-streaked face at this moment, she faltered.
So, she immediately looked at Feng Qishi.
Feng Qishi glanced at Mu Anxiao, then looked at Bing'er and said, "I did it, it has nothing to do with her."
Hearing this, Bing'er looked at Feng Qishi and said with a firm tone, "Brother, I know this has nothing to do with you, it's all her doing." She pointed at Mu Anxiao and choked out, "Brother, can you release Sister from her restraints?" She pointed at the magic surrounding the woman.
However, the magic used by Zhang Yan was invisible to ordinary mortals. If Bing'er had come into contact with the demonic soul and seen it due to the woman's demonic arts, she wouldn't find it strange. But if she could see all this, Mu Anxiao felt something was wrong.
"How can you see these?" she said.
Bing'er cried.
Feng Qishi heard this and quickly reached out to pull Mu Anxiao's arm, saying, "Say less." As he spoke, he stepped forward, lowered his head to look at Bing'er, and whispered, "Don't cry."
"But..."
"I'll help you," Feng Qishi interrupted, about to cast a spell.
Seeing this, Mu Anxiao quickly said, "You can't do that." As she spoke, she stepped forward and grabbed Feng Qishi's arm.
Then, seeing this, Bing'er immediately stood up, ran forward, grabbed Mu Anxiao's arm, and shouted, "You ugly monster." After speaking, she bit Mu Anxiao's arm.
Mu Anxiao's eyes widened in pain. She pushed Bing'er's head away and said, "Let go."
Bing'er continued to bite, unmoving.
Jia, seeing Bing'er's savage side, shuddered as if empathizing, and then unintentionally looked at the woman who had secretly opened her eyes, shouting, "She's awake."
Hearing Jia's shout, Bing'er immediately let go, turned to look at the woman, and called out, "Sister." Then she stepped to the woman's side and crouched down again.
The woman had intended to use this opportunity to make Feng Qishi listen to Bing'er and release her restraints. She hadn't expected... it to be interfered with by Jia. Thinking about it, she felt unwilling and pretended to be surprised, saying, "Bing'er, you can see me now."
"Sister," Bing'er held the woman's arm.
Mu Anxiao, rubbing her arm that hurt from being bitten, looked up at Feng Qishi, who was watching her, and said, "It's all your fault." As she spoke, she glared at Feng Qishi and looked down at the woman.
In the next second, both the woman and Bing'er started crying.
Hearing their different cries, Mu Anxiao was stunned.
Feng Qishi shifted his gaze to Bing'er and asked, "What are you crying for?"
Bing'er said between sobs, "Sister grabbing her is all because of me." She stood up, went to Feng Qishi's side, and continued, "Brother, my time is short, please let Sister go, Bing'er begs you." As she spoke, she knelt down.
Seeing this, Feng Qishi quickly stepped forward, squatted down, and easily helped Bing'er up, saying, "Bing'er, don't be like this."
"Brother, Sister only did that to save me by grabbing that ugly monster. Sister has no intention of killing her." Bing'er said, crying, glancing at Mu Anxiao, then turning back to Feng Qishi.
"Bing'er, don't believe them, I won't die, I will save you." The woman said emotionally.
Hearing this, Bing'er turned to look at the woman and shook her head.
The woman cried, "Bing'er, your life..." As she spoke, she started coughing.
Bing'er quickly turned and knelt beside the woman, then repeatedly patted the woman's arm.
Feng Qishi stood up and walked behind Bing'er to observe the woman.
On the other side, Jia glanced at Bing'er and the woman, thinking, what's going on?
Mu Anxiao held her arm that Bing'er had bitten, and then thought about the force with which Bing'er had bitten her, and her previous poisoning. She suddenly doubted Bing'er's identity.
However, because Feng Qishi trusted their relationship too much, she thought that if she spoke up now and guessed Bing'er's identity, Feng Qishi would immediately turn against her and direct all his accusations at her.
Helpless, she had to temporarily set aside her suspicions about Bing'er, looked down at her arm, and muttered, "I won't be poisoned, will I?" As she spoke, she began to use her magic to test it.
Unexpectedly, Jia happened to see this scene. "Mu Anxiao, what are you doing?" he asked softly, walking up to Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi's back as he continued to observe the woman and said in a low voice, "I was bitten just now."
"And then?" Jia was slow-witted.
"No 'then'," Mu Anxiao replied, not bothering to have a deeper conversation with Jia, and continued to use her magic to test the wound.
Jia stared at the faint blue light in Mu Anxiao's palm, then glanced sideways at Feng Qishi behind him, and softly asked, "That demonic soul, did you bind it?"
"It wasn't me."
"Not you? Who was it?"
"My master," Mu Anxiao said softly, removing her hand and sighing with relief.
"Why are you exhaling?" Jia observed carefully.
Mu Anxiao said, "Don't worry about it." She lowered her head to look at the continuously coughing woman, thought for a moment, walked forward, and deliberately exposed her, "Stop pretending."
The woman continued to cough.
Hearing Mu Anxiao's indifferent question, Bing'er immediately stood up, turned to Mu Anxiao, and shouted, "You ugly monster, shut up." As she spoke, she skirted around Feng Qishi, ran to Mu Anxiao, raised her fist, and began to punch Mu Anxiao repeatedly.
However, Mu Anxiao wanted Bing'er to vent. Only then could she truly see... if Bing'er was a real child.
As expected, Bing'er's strength was much greater than that of a normal child.
So, she directly exposed her, "You're not a child, are you?" After speaking, she grabbed Bing'er's wrist.
Upon hearing this, the woman stopped coughing.
This time, Feng Qishi did not speak. Instead, he turned around and looked at the frozen Bing'er.
Mu Anxiao looked down at Bing'er's suddenly stunned expression and asked again, "Speak, who are you? In other words," she loosened her grip on Bing'er's wrist slightly, "are you human, or demon?"
The moment Mu Anxiao asked this, Bing'er pouted and started crying without a word.
