Chapter 343: SSS Rank!

Chapter 343: SSS Rank!

[Would the user like to convert [361,230] kill points to upgrade points? Yes/No?]

Jason chose yes, and the system quickly converted all his kill points to upgrade points. Jason then turned to look for any Rook Rank II dragon that was up to a hundred percent in its hierarchy progression. The fight had been going on for more than thirty minutes now, so this was the longest battle Jason had ever been in, and he knew that there would be a few soldiers who had enough progress. And it didn’t take long before Jason saw a few dragons that were with A Rank superhumans who had fought enough to have the necessary progression! Jason quickly sent the points towards those dragons, and he watched as they grew even larger! Their wingspan increased and their hide became thicker as they grew stronger, and once their growth was complete, Jason sensed his own stats increasing as well! The dragon charged towards the enemies with even more intensity, and Jason turned away as he sent Upgrade Points towards Ragnar, Azrael, Raya, Jaraht, and also Gina.

[The subordinates chosen have not reached the required Hierarchy Progression; therefore, they cannot be upgraded. The Upgrades will be executed after they meet the requirements.]

The system suddenly sent this message, and Jason closed down the tab. Jason knew that he would be busy later, so it was better for him to just leave the upgrade points in the subordinates tab of the subordinates that he wanted to improve, and they would go through the upgrade once their hierarchy progression was complete!

Jason looked at his tab and he saw that his Kill Points had already begun to increase again even though he just used up all of them. This was due to how many soldiers were being killed by his subordinates every moment, and Jason was sure that at the end of this, he would gain well over three thousand subordinates after resurrecting the dead soldiers! Jason’s stats had also gone up, and Jason felt his power increasing as he finally crossed into the threshold of the SSS Rank!

Doon!

Jason felt his mana surge out from his body in an intense wave of pressure! The weight of his magic grew stronger, and Jason could tell that every skill in his arsenal would now have an even higher impact once he activated it using this mana! Jason grinned happily from the progress he made and he was already thinking of what else he could do to make the battle easier for his Legion, but Jason paused when he suddenly got a message from the Phantom that he had sent to keep an eye on the Sovereign! The Phantom had been following the Sovereign for the past few minutes and it noticed that the Sovereign was on his way out of the castle and he was about to join the battle! Jason cursed as he realised that he wouldn’t have the time to plan anything else. Jason couldn’t let the Sovereign join the battle! If that happened, then the entire battle would shift in favour of the Radagan soldiers!

Jason turned to the system and gave it an order, and the system immediately brought up a tab.

[Would the user like to consume [55,000 MP] to resurrect 110 dead subordinates? Yes/No?]

Jason chose yes, and he watched as his mana dropped to just about three hundred and fifty thousand! The subordinates all around Radagan that had been killed by the Radagan soldiers immediately started coming back to life, much to the shock of the enemy soldiers, and Jason watched them join the battle again before he steeled himself and activated his Legion skill.

[King’s Substitute] has been activated!

A Rook Rank Phantom in the Radagan Castle suddenly appeared on the rooftop where Jason had been standing, and Jason vanished towards the Radagan Castle.

[In the Ashenvalley Forest]

The cave was so dark that Riyala couldn’t see more than one meter in front of her even with her enhanced vision. Riyala was on the back of Fenrir, and they both made their way deeper inside the cave in the center of the forest. The voice that called Riyala here hadn’t said anything since Riyala walked inside, but for some reason, Riyala could tell that she was heading in the right direction. She knew that there was something waiting for her on the other end of this cave, and she just had to reach it. Fenrir, on the other hand, hadn’t stopped growling since they came in here. It was obvious that the large wolf was not in favour of them coming here, and if not for the fact that Riyala had insisted, then Fenrir would have already gone into the shadows to escape.

Fenrir’s eyes were far better than Riyala’s, so even though Riyala couldn’t see very far in the darkness, Fenrir could see well enough to continue moving down the marked path without any incidents. They walked for only thirty seconds, but to Riyala, it felt like she had been moving for days! But it didn’t take long before Riyala saw something glimmer in the distance. A strange blue light lit up in Riyala’s vision, and Riyala narrowed her eyes as they got closer. The blue light was shining out from an oval opening that led deeper into the cavity, and as they approached, Riyala realised that the blue light was coming from various bright flowers that were growing out of the cave wall. The flowers looked just like lilies, but their petals were glowing with a light that allowed Riyala to finally get a good look at the cave around her. There was an oval pathway in front of them that led into a large room, and Riyala sensed how Fenrir hesitated to enter. For some reason, Fenrir wouldn’t step foot in there, and Riyala suddenly heard that same voice from before reaching her again.

"Only you, child. Only you may enter~"

The voice sounded kind and almost supportive, like a mother guiding her child, and Riyala took in a deep breath before she slowly slid off Fenrir’s back and landed on the ground. Fenrir leaned down worriedly to nudge Riyala with his nose, and Riyala smiled and hugged him around the neck while saying.

"Don’t worry. I’ll be careful. Just stand guard."

Riyala was obviously afraid, and Fenrir could sense it in her voice, but there was resolve in her eyes that told him that she was not going to back down, and the large wolf nodded as it walked to stand right at the entrance of the cavern. Riyala took in another deep breath before she finally walked into the cavern. The moment she stepped inside, it felt like a sudden pressure washed over her! The pressure wasn’t the intense or terrifying one she normally felt when she was in the presence of someone who was far stronger than her; instead, it was a calm, almost gentle pressure that made all of her worries fall away.

The cavern was extremely large, and it was filled with the bright blue lilies that painted it in their brilliant light. There was a single platform standing in the middle of the cavern, and on that platform was a single dragon that had curled in on itself. The dragon slowly rose its head to give Riyala its attention, and Riyala felt her eyes widen when she saw the greying, black scales along the dragon’s body. Riyala had never heard anyone speak about an aging dragon before because most of the people in Radagan didn’t believe that a dragon could grow old. Everyone knew about young dragons and matured dragons, but no one ever heard about a dragon dying from old age! But Riyala could tell almost immediately that this was a very old dragon! Riyala could only wonder how long a dragon would have to live before its scales would start to dull and turn grey!
