The next morning, Chen Dongyang had to go to the company for work. He told Tiantian to sleep in.
"You must have been exhausted yesterday. Don't go to the company today. Sleep a little longer, and I'll bring you lunch at noon."
It felt as if everything had returned to the time when Tiantian had injured her foot. She truly cherished the way they were when they spent time together like this.
Tiantian lazily agreed. Chen Dongyang initiated a video call with her, live-streaming his workday from the moment he left.
As noon approached, Tiantian woke up.

After the tour, they went to Lu Huaijin's studio. Chen Dongyang immediately sent her a WeChat message.

"The project team you just visited fits the bill. The lead engineer is Chen Dongyang. If you're really interested, I can call him over."
Lu Huaijin made a call and summoned Chen Dongyang.
"This is him, Miss Jiang. A rising star in the industry, a newly crowned master. Feel free to ask him any professional questions. He'll tell you everything."
Tiantian and Chen Dongyang sat facing each other. She appraised him with a smile, appearing casual but deliberately teasing.

Chen Dongyang knew she was deliberately teasing him and played along. "Sure. I'm 30 this year. I'll trouble you, Miss Jiang."
Tiantian picked up her phone. "Then let's add each other on WeChat. I'll notify you if there's good news."
Lu Huaijin watched from the side, sensing something was off. He quickly intervened.
"We were talking about the game, how did it turn into introducing girlfriends? Tiantian, you've never been this enthusiastic about me before."
Tiantian said, "You know everyone I know, so why would I need to introduce them? You're not that petty, are you? You're jealous that I'm helping your colleague find a girlfriend?"
Lu Huaijin explained, "How could I be jealous? I just think there's no need for you two to add each other. You won't have many opportunities to contact each other in the future. If you really want to help him find someone, let's arrange something. I'll go too. I can help liven up the atmosphere."
She hadn't intended to add him anyway. Seeing Lu Huaijin's obstruction, Tiantian lost her interest.

Chen Dongyang went to nibble her ear. "I do."
They lingered inside for a while before coming out.
When they entered the private room, the food had already been served. Lu Huaijin said,
"Why did you take so long to come back? What were you doing?"
