Chapter 13 Anorexia

Su Yunmo gritted her teeth, forcing herself to calm down.

The Thousand Emotions Gu was no ordinary item; most people had never even heard of it, let alone possessed one. Why would this brat use such a precious thing on a mere child?

She looked up at Ye Jingyu, her deer-like eyes welling up with tears. "Did big brother give Momo something bad to eat? Momo feels so uncomfortable."

The heat within her body subsided slightly.

Ye Jingyu, having withdrawn his oppressive aura, looked at her with amusement. "You change so quickly."

It was as if she could control it at will, no wonder she could deceive that General's wife.

The young man's words carried a hint of mockery, which Su Yunmo understood.

If it weren't for the fact that the one who planted the Gu had died, and the recipient would also be affected, she would have loved to put a hole in this person's head!

She tilted her head, pouting pitifully and feigning ignorance. "Momo didn't change. It's because big brother bullied Momo that Momo resisted."

Ye Jingyu placed her on the ground. "A good excuse, but not good enough."

He had changed his mind. Killing this little thing was as easy as a thought, but keeping her might be useful.

"Let's go. Go back and think of a reason to convince me, otherwise, the Thousand Emotions Gu will lay eggs in your belly."

Su Yunmo wanted to kill him, right now!

Using her powers to control objects, she could poke a hole in this brat's face and then force him to remove the Gu.

Ye Jingyu glanced at her hand. "Before I throw you into the water, you'd better put that little paw away."

Su Yunmo's raised finger stiffened slightly. Then, the emotions that had just been suppressed in her heart surged, giving rise to an even greater urge to jump into the river.

This stinking brat!

Su Yunmo took a deep breath and held out her fingers pitifully. "Big brother doesn't seem to like Momo. Then Momo will leave first and come back to play with big brother later."

A wise person knows when to retreat from a superior force!

She lowered her head like a bullied little rabbit, walking away while looking back repeatedly.

Qian Xue opened the door and watched her leave, feeling a pang of sympathy. "Master, this child merely bumped into you by accident. Isn't this punishment a bit too much?"

"Too much?" Ye Jingyu scoffed. "Do you know that the child you speak of is the young lady of the General's mansion?"

Qian Xue was instantly stunned.

This little one was the one who forced medicine into Master? How was that possible!

It didn't seem like her at all, so tiny. Unbelievable!

Qian Xue pondered for a moment, her expression grave. "Master, last time you escaped from the General's mansion, Prince Cheng has already become suspicious of you. It would be unwise for you to interact with anyone from the mansion again."

Ye Jingyu's gaze swept over the scattered chopsticks on the ground, a glint flashing in his eyes. "But what if the young lady of the General's mansion approaches me willingly?"

Qian Xue's eyes darkened in response.

Then Prince Cheng would believe that the General's mansion intended to make contact and support him.

If it were someone else, Prince Cheng might not think that way, but if it were the General's mansion, Prince Cheng would definitely consider it!

This way, Prince Cheng would be too preoccupied to deal with his current affairs.

Ye Jingyu curled his lips, a cold solemnity appearing on his face that did not belong to his age.

"Send someone to tell the rebels that the list is in my hands. They are not allowed to cause trouble in my territory, or they will be killed without mercy."

Since Ye Jingcheng's men said that the list alone couldn't bring him down, he would play a bigger game and ensure he bled for it!

Meanwhile, Su Yunmo left the house, cursing all the way.

She felt that Ye Jingyu was petty. She had only bumped into him, and he had resorted to such cruel measures against a child.

Despicable, shameless, and vulgar!

The Thousand Emotions Gu was incurable unless the one who planted it willingly; even divine medicine was useless.

Su Yunmo abandoned the idea of healing herself and returned to her dormitory.

There was a lunch break in the middle of the day, and the academy provided each student with a room.

Su Yunmo was too upset to sleep. She needed to find something to calm her mood.

If there was one thing she was good at, it wasn't treating illnesses but growing herbs. No matter what kind of medicinal herbs, she could grow them successfully since childhood.

She wanted to see her precious herbs to change her mood, and then figure out a solution.

Getting on the bed, Su Yunmo took out the glazed lock and held it in her hand, closing her eyes. Her spirit entered the glazed lock, but all she saw was withered yellow.

All the herbs were completely dead.

Su Yunmo withdrew her spirit and sat on the chair, stunned for a long time. She pinched her arm.

It hurt. She was awake, not dreaming.

She closed her eyes again and her spirit entered the glazed lock.

A moment later, she opened her eyes again, and Su Yunmo curled her lips, carefully placing the glazed lock on the bed. Then she picked up a pillow and threw it on the ground.

They were all dead, not a single one survived!

Bad luck, bad luck!

Su Yunmo suddenly felt that Ye Jingyu was her nemesis. Ever since she met this brat, nothing good had happened!

She went to the East Courtyard for nothing, didn't find her elder brother, was poisoned by Gu, and all her herbs died.

Su Yunmo took a deep breath, gritted her teeth, and buried her head in the quilt.

Sleep! Whatever happens, happens!

Children's bodies had a lot of energy, but if they fell asleep, they could also sleep soundly.

Since entering the General's mansion, Zhou Wanyou did not restrict her sleeping time, and Su Yunmo had gotten into the habit of oversleeping.

When Han Jitong came to fetch her, she was still sleeping soundly.

The man grabbed her by the back of her collar, yanked her up, and dangled her in the air, gritting his teeth. "At your age, when you should be studying, how can you be sleeping?"

Su Yunmo groggily opened her eyes and saw a handsome face filled with anger. "Teacher?"

Han Jitong pointed to the window. "Look for yourself, what time is it? Do you know that school is over?"

He had so many students, and every one of them who got into the academy worked desperately and diligently. Yet this girl acted as if she was just drifting along.

Su Yunmo yawned. "Since school is already over, I'll sleep for a while longer. Come and wake me up tomorrow morning."

Han Jitong's eyelids twitched, and he directly grabbed her and strode out of the dormitory.

Su Yunmo was thrown back into the empty classroom, a pen thrust into her hand.

Han Jitong pointed to a book. "Copy this chapter ten times!"

He had to make her catch up on the afternoon's lessons!

Su Yunmo, having been dragged around and exposed to the wind, also woke up. She lazily took the pen and began copying as instructed. "Oh."

She had to stay here for a while longer, so there was no need to offend the teacher.

Although she didn't know the answers to the exam questions, copying was not difficult.

Su Yunmo finished copying quickly. When she handed it to Han Jitong, she saw him engrossed in a medical book.

A large sheet of paper was spread on the table, with many prescriptions copied onto it, along with notes and some prescriptions he had made himself.

"These two herbs cannot be placed together. Although their properties are mild, their effects are similar, and they will weaken each other."

Han Jitong was called back to attention. Muttering "What does a child know," he instinctively flipped through the book. After a while, he looked at her with some surprise. "You actually guessed correctly."

Su Yunmo handed him the copied essay.

Han Jitong glanced at it. The handwriting was childish but beautiful. "You understand medicine? Do you know about anorexia?"

Anorexia was rare in those days. Patients exhibited obvious refusal to eat or restrictive eating. If forced to eat, they would vomit and feel disgusted, and some would experience mood swings and irritability.

Su Yunmo had read medical books but had never treated anyone. Most of the cases she had read about were caused by psychological problems due to certain reasons, leading to an aversion to food.

"I don't know."

This kind of illness was troublesome, and if possible, she didn't want to treat it.
