Chapter 154 Leaping God

To ask all the interstellar people who was the most mysterious in this galaxy, nine out of ten would answer the Mo clan.

Yet, this race also bore the reputation of a great war with the Insect Race many years ago, making them, in a way, one of the most high-profile races in the entire galaxy.

However, how the Mo clan managed to have the strength to fight the Insect Race without being annihilated, only to be relegated to a small planet, and what methods they used, no one knew.

But in these short two hours, Cecil had seen a clue. The Mo clan chief had just bewitched Luo Qi, leaving him in a daze, and then tried to use the same tactic on Xiao Heng.

The problem lay with his horsetail whisk.

However, perhaps because Xiao Heng was from the Beastman planet and had a simple mind, Mo Li’s methods didn't work.

Speaking of which, if such a small cub like Luo Qi could be so easily tricked, the people of the Beastman system were perhaps too simple-minded. Such a powerful figure might not be a good thing in a perilous galaxy.

Within a few minutes, Cecil had figured out what happened. At this moment, Xiao Heng glared at Mo Li, while Mo Li’s face, pale with shock, turned grim. He remained silent in response to Xiao Heng’s questioning.

Mo Jue pursed his lips and tugged at his father’s sleeve. For some reason, his father didn't react to such provocation.

Xiao Heng smiled chillingly, "My little wolf is very well-behaved and obedient. I’ve heard what happened from his classmates. It was your child who pushed our little wolf first. Although the Beastman system may not have great abilities, it wouldn’t allow its children to be wronged."

Mo Li’s eyes flickered, his lips pressed down in a clear expression of threat, "So, Your Excellency means you intend to make an enemy of the Mo clan over this matter?"

In fact, the incident today was, in the end, just a quarrel between children, not something that would escalate to a conflict between planets.

But for some reason, seeing Cecil sitting there so calmly, and realizing his previous attempt on Xiao Heng had failed, Mo Li became even more enraged.

Xiao Heng laughed heartily, "You don’t need to scare me with that. Do you think our Beastman system is afraid of your shamanistic dances?"

Luo Qi: "???"

Mo Jue: "???"

Xiao Xingxing: "Pfft."

Teacher Xiao: "..." Well, should I try to mediate?

Xiao Xingxing’s eyes sparkled, the ears on his head twitching. He whispered to Luo Qi,

"You know, many people in the galaxy say that people of the Mo clan are like shamans."

After saying that, he tilted his head in confusion, "But I'm not too sure, what exactly is a shaman?"

Luo Qi smiled with his eyes curved. Shamanism, a mysterious Eastern ritual. Xiao Xingxing didn't need to know.

Xiao Heng said it without much reaction, because that was precisely what she thought. However, those who heard it were almost driven to death.

Mo Li’s face turned a mixture of green and white. He began to chant incantations, his anger making him forget where he was. He was determined to make that furry wolfman pay!

The atmosphere in the small office grew increasingly tense. Teacher Xiao stood at the door, hesitating whether to step forward and mediate. Seeing the situation, he tremblingly pressed the communicator, wondering if he should quickly call the principal.

Just then, Cecil picked up Luo Qi and whispered,

"Luo Luo, let out your wings. In this situation, we need you."

Luo Qi’s eyes lit up, "Daddy?"

Cecil smiled and nodded, "It's okay, Daddy will handle what comes next."

Luo Qi nodded, puffed out his chest, and walked behind Mo Li, patting his back.

Mo Li paused, his fingers forming a hand seal faltering. He turned to look at the heir of the Insect Race whom he had hated for so many years.

He felt an urge to grab him by the neck, to cripple the Insect Race even at the cost of his own life, to make the entire galaxy mourn.

His words were almost squeezed from between his teeth, "Oh, little prince of the Insect Race, do you need something?"

Luo Qi smiled, and suddenly a pair of pale pink wings unfurled from his back, lifting Luo Qi off the ground with a flutter.

He circled Mo Li twice, the iridescent powder shimmering in the air, "Clan Chief Mo, look, I can fly."

Mo Li frowned at the little cub, not understanding his meaning.

Luo Qi had been smiling, but after circling Mo Li once, he suddenly put on a stern little face:

"Clan Chief Mo, even though you are an elder, casually using your Mo clan’s skills on children is really—so lame!!!"

Mo Li’s face darkened. Just as he was about to reach out and grab him, he felt a wave of sleepiness wash over him. His mood suddenly became very gentle, and he felt an urge to take a nap.

Luo Qi stood with his hands on his hips, his little feet dangling in the air, seemingly contemplating how to kick this shaman to the ground.

He said with a smile, "For a rude bad guy like you, I'll punish you by making you sleep on the ground for a few hours."

With that, he quietly kicked Mo Li in the waist. Mo Li fell with a groan, and Xiao Heng dodged. Mo Li’s old face landed on the ground by the doorway.

To outsiders, it looked as if Luo Qi had said something to Mo Li and then kicked him to the ground.

Mo Jue was dumbfounded.

He suddenly felt that losing to this little cub wasn't such a big deal anymore QAQ
