Chapter 30 The Three Little Ones Are About to Meet

“Qianqian agreed?” Di Mingjue asked again.

Yesterday, they couldn't go at the last minute, and Qianqian didn't get to see the school. However, Dabao and Erbao liked it very much, and Qianqian surely would too.

Jiang Ziyu thought, and nodded in response, "Qianqian will definitely like it."

"Heh." Di Mingjue realized that Jiang Ziyu was acting on her own initiative and his face suddenly turned cold. "The one-year term will be up soon. I advise you to spend less effort on Qianqian."

What was the point of pleasing the child? When Qianqian's real mother returned, Jiang Ziyu would be no match for the bond of blood.

Though he thought this, Di Mingjue was still worried.

In his heart, Qianqian was still very young and needed maternal love. If the void in her heart was filled by Jiang Ziyu, would the real mother still have a chance when she returned?

Di Mingjue warned Jiang Ziyu, "From now on, besides daily companionship, you don't need to interfere in any of Qianqian's affairs."

Hmph!

Jiang Ziyu rolled her eyes at him. "I can't agree to that."

"As I suspected, merely coveting my body wasn't enough, and now you want to start with Qianqian. I'll tell you directly, don't even think about it!" Di Mingjue was so agitated that he wanted to stand up from his wheelchair.

Ignoring Di Mingjue's demand, Jiang Ziyu left him and went to Qianqian's room.

Qianqian, a small bundle, was curled up at the desk. The quiet room echoed with the rustling sound of a pen tip on paper.

Jiang Ziyu walked in and saw the drawing paper in front of Qianqian. The picture depicted a family of three. She looked down at Qianqian's focused expression, her heart aching with a surge of sadness.

Her practiced movements and the stack of sketchbooks on the desk all spoke of her loneliness over the years.

Sensing someone behind her, Qianqian turned her head and burrowed into Jiang Ziyu's arms with surprise.

"Mom had an emergency yesterday and couldn't take you to see the new kindergarten. Shall we go now?" Jiang Ziyu affectionately stroked her cheek.

With her small hand on his arm, Qianqian pointed at the clothes on the foot of the bed.

Jiang Ziyu was stunned.

She had been waiting so early, as if she had known in advance that she would take her out.

After changing into the clothes, Jiang Ziyu took Qianqian out of the room.

As soon as they reached downstairs, they found Di Mingjue waiting in the living room.

"I'll go with you both." He seemed to know what they were going to do.

"You?" Jiang Ziyu refused instinctively. "It's not convenient. You need to rest well at home."

Di Mingjue spun the wheels of his chair and moved forward.

Qianqian excitedly stepped forward and took Di Mingjue's hand, holding out her other hand for Jiang Ziyu.

"Let's go," Di Mingjue urged.

Faced with Qianqian's expectant eyes, Jiang Ziyu had no choice but to agree.

The door to the front hall opened, and Shen Lin at the entrance looked at the three people walking towards them as if from another lifetime.

Jiang Ziyu pushed the wheelchair, while Qianqian nestled in Di Mingjue's arms.

So alike!

Shen Lin sighed inwardly.

The woman from years ago and the current Jiang Ziyu were exactly the same, but as soon as she spoke, she was different.

As they approached, Shen Lin took the wheelchair and carefully helped Di Mingjue into the car. Jiang Ziyu provided the kindergarten's address, and the car set off from the entrance of the Di residence.

The journey was quiet. Qianqian couldn't speak, but her body couldn't hide her excitement.

Half an hour later, the car stopped at the kindergarten entrance.

Jiang Ziyu unbuckled her seatbelt and took out her sunglasses.

To avoid attracting attention, Jiang Ziyu discreetly held Qianqian and entered the kindergarten on foot, just like any other parent.

For this day, she had prepared for a long time. She had invested in the kindergarten, and with Qianqian attending classes there, there would be no more instances of her being bullied.

They walked along a path within the campus and arrived at the admissions office.

"Miss Jiang, you're here." A woman wearing a uniform with the kindergarten's logo greeted them with a smile.

"Yes, sorry to keep Director Fang waiting."

"Miss Jiang, you're too kind. And this must be our little Qianqian!" Fang Hua squatted down and carefully observed the somewhat reserved Qianqian.

The previous kindergarten had caused too much harm. Facing the enthusiastic principal, Qianqian's fragile heart couldn't feel any warmth. She timidly tugged at Jiang Ziyu's clothes and hid behind her.

"Qianqian, don't be afraid, this is Director Fang." Jiang Ziyu pulled Qianqian forward. But the more she pulled, the more Qianqian resisted and retreated.

Di Mingjue arrived a step later. Hearing Qianqian's reluctant whimpers, he reprimanded without understanding, "What are you doing!"

Feeling the small body trembling, Di Mingjue became even more worried.

"In just a few days, you've revealed your true colors!"

Jiang Ziyu's expression turned cold. "What do you know to be spouting nonsense here!"

Hearing their argument, Qianqian's fear intensified. She wriggled out of Di Mingjue's embrace and stood between them helplessly.

"Your careful efforts to please Qianqian are all for the position of Madam Di. I'm putting it on record today: no one can become Madam Di except Qianqian's biological mother."
